Obsessed with this place!
Great food and drinks. Got bottomless and definitely would go back!
This restaurant is a gem! Atmosphere, staff and the food equals perfection. This is my second time returning and plan to come again. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed it a lot. Everything was delicious and we will return soon
Good food, great drinks! Needs a cosmetic facelift though
Booked my reservation through the app for 10:45, however when I arrived I was told they would not honor my reservation.
Delicious food and exceptional service
Great service - delicious food ... some happy hour prices at the table - would definitely go back
Surprised by how amazing the food, service and drinks were. So good!!!!
They still showed the option they were open but the weren’t the kitchen was down for maintenance should’ve been updated on the app
restaurant was closed for kitchen repairs and never received a notification. always had a pleasurable experience there in the past, but this was highly disappointing.
On arrival the restaurant wasn’t even open I was very disappointed I made reservations expecting to be able to eat in the restaurant wasn’t even open for business
I would recommend going there. However, don’t plan on getting a table for 2 even if you make a reservation! I made a reservation for 2 a week before going and there were no tables available when we went. And we went right when they opened! We had to sit at the bar. Disappointing. It seemed like they only had tables for parties of 4 or more
No high chairs available in the entire restaurant !!!
The meal at Agave was fine, but far from exceptional. Service was first rate, but the meal itself very standard and a bit expensive. Also, the hostess was not very friendly when we arrived or left. Overall, we are not likely to return.
The food was good but the waiters literally came to us every 5 mins asking us if we were done. I get that the restaurant is busy but they started coming five mins after we were eating and kept coming. It got kind of annoying. They almost picked up our dishes once when we were still eating which is ridiculous.
We made a reservation for 9:30pm on a Saturday night, early considering it’s NYC. We walked in from the a movie down the street, no one was around and finally someone randomly walked by on their way out and said their kitchen was closed. We walked in at 9:40, so only 10 mins past our reservation. I received a missed call at 9:30 as we were walking over but I missed it as it was in my purse, it happened to be restaurant telling us our reservation couldn’t be held...
Overall disappointing, should have called me hours before the reservation so we could have made other plans, not at the exact time of our reservation. I’m also not sure why they closed so early when they were listed as being open until 2am.
Then I received an email from opentable stating the restaurant marked us as a no show!! Which isn’t true at all, they wouldn’t serve us so we had to leave!
The absolute worst mimosa I have ever had in my entire life and I am the type of person to try the mimosas EVERYWHERE I go. On the other hand, the margaritas were incredible. We went for brunch on a Thursday so we called ahead to see if they did bottomless that day. They said yes, but when we got there they said they didn't do it.. After explaining what we had been told on the phone, they still let us do bottomless drinks with the additional price of a regular entree which was very nice. Not sure the vibe on the weekend, but the weekday was DEAD.. literally only 3 other tables the entire two hours we were there. If you're looking for mimosas, DON'T GO HERE. If you're looking for margs, WOULD RECOMMEND.
It was okay
Best Brunch/Happy hour! Great place to meet up with friends.
Food and drinks are good, but service is SLOW.
The place was empty. The bar tenders were nice but slow for an empty bar and messed up the drink once. A lady had her dog at the bar crawling on the bar.
Awesome service. We sat outside originally bc it was such a beautiful day however we were being dripped on by an AC and had to move inside to avoid getting that water in our drinks and entrees.
I went for my birthday dinner! If you are looking for something more rowdy I would go to their downtown location. In this location even at 10pm their lights were bright and not a “party” atmosphere. Food is always great before going out and their Margs are to die for
Food was good but expensive for Mexican
It's a shame because I'm such a fan of the west side location, but the new east side agave is just not up to standard. The service was incredibly slow, like to the point where we didn't get enough booze refills to warrant paying for a boozy brunch. They also forgot our appetizers, and couldn't tell which burrito was vegetarian, and which had all the meats.
Something wasn’t right with the booze! No way everybody was dead after drinking the margaritas. Was Bill Cosby working the bar?
I would definitely return but not too often, Agave is a bit expensive for what you get. Otherwise it was great!
Overpriced and low quality. Agave doesn’t even offer free chips and salsa. We spent over $100 for 2 people on a casual Tuesday night meal.
The worst experience I've had at a restaurant in decades
Second time here. Wanted to eat outside...
Waiter didn't listen when I asked for a skinny margarita. Came back with two margaritas with a ton of sour mix in it. Wouldn't tell me that sour mix was in it, until I started calling out all the ingredients that are supposed to be in a skinny margarita. As a former bartender, I know what sour mix tastes like. He took them back and replaced.
Food took FOREVER to come out. And all we got was a quesadilla. Asked for it with shrimp. They put shrimp in half of it. Said that's what he wrote down... but that wasn't what I ordered. I was constantly trying to look for a server for another drink, extra sour cream.
Their pricing is WAY too high for the experience they are serving up. I really wish this place would get it together.
Awful food. Worst meal I’ve had in many years. Will not be back.
Overall it was decent. Food and service were good. However, restaurant was a little too loud and it was definitely overpriced.
I was able to make an 11am reservation and we got there and were told that the kitchen didn’t open until 11:30. They wouldn’t seat us until 11:45, then the menus were off at the table and the food was missing critical items. Not great service and not the same fun atmosphere as the west village location.
Wait staff seemed overwhelmed
Jesus was amazing!
Service wasn’t as good as the other one near Union.
Has the potential to be a Great spot looking forward to trying when they are out of previews as the full menu is not available.
Not comparable to west side location
