Nestled in the heart of lower Queen Anne off of Republican St., Agave Cocina & Tequilas is an easy walk from major theaters and the most popular tourist attractions in the city. Our clientele is a melting pot of individuals, who are locals perusing the city, tourists discovering something new or dapperly dressed individuals killing time before a show. We are open for lunch, dinner and offer brunch on designated days. If you find yourself near the Space Needle, SIFF Cinema, Seattle Center Arena or lost and hungry in Seattle Center we are just a 5 minute walk. Agave Restaurants serve contemporary Mexican food using hand-crafted, fresh, natural ingredients, no preservatives, trans fats or lard. Sustainable seafood, free-range, hormone-free chicken, beef, eggs, rice & beans. Most of our food is gluten-free with the main exception being flour tortillas, we offer vegan & vegetarian options as well.

We are located in Lower Queen Anne in the Expo building at First & Republican. We offer one hour free parking for guests in the Expo parking structure. Bring your ticket in to the restaurant when dining and we will validate it! There is also ample metered parking on all streets around the Expo complex.

We tried out a new restaurant called Agave Cocina in West Seattle this evening and the experience was could not have been worse. The Bartender was rude, made no eye contact and had to be asked many times for the check. We then moved to another area awaiting our dining table which we were told would be ready 45 minutes earlier but never came up for seating. The experience worsened substantially when one of the patrons began yelling four-letter words at one of the guests in our party because he overheard her saying something he disagreed with. The man and his partner were violently belligerent and we asked the hostess to call the Police but she just seemed flummoxed and frightened so all eight members of our party left. I have never seen a customer behave as despicable as this man and his partner did, not ever since I moved to Seattle 25 years ago. Our entire party left to go to Elliott Bay Brewery because the guest and his partner's behaviour was neither addressed or controlled by the management. Two other really negative items about this restaurant: Our table was presented with a check 20-minutes before our cocktails even arrived. Nothing had been delivered to our table when the waiter rudely slapped a bill down with no explanation or cocktails--just a bill for no product. An escalation to the Manager resulted in a nervous, half-hearted apology. I have never experienced such a lack of courtesy or professionalism since moving to Seattle over a quarter of a century ago. I cannot caution enough about how terrible our group's experience was at Agave Cocina. I would strongly recommend reading other reviews about this restaurant before attempting to visit Agave Cocina.

The food was ok, the drinks were ok, but the service was awful. We felt so rushed and when we need more drinks or food, no one was to be found.

This is a regular go-to restaurant for pre-theater. The food is always good, well-prepared and nicely presented. Short but reasonable wine list, good draft beers and margaritas are tasty--and substantial! Service was very good, attentive without hovering.

Our table was in an awkward space in the middle of the aisle so we felt very cramped when people would walk by. When we ordered a second round of drinks, the server never removed our empty glasses from the first round. There were 4 of us so a total of 12 glasses (4 for water) on the table at one time. I had a chicken burrito and, while the flavor was fine (nothing to write home about), it was lukewarm. I doubt I'll be back soon, even though I live in the neighborhood.

I have loved Agave for a long time and go there fairly regularly. This is the first time my two 20-somthing daughters joined me and they loved it, too. We all agree the food is delicious, there's a great selection, service was warm and efficient, and marguerite was perfect. I tried the chicken poblano this time and it was super yummy, though I wouldn't recommend it to anyone dieting. It's rich!

My family and I dropped in for lunch on March 15 2017, mid afternoon. We were seated immediately and drink order taken within a few minutes. My wife loved the plum Margherita. My son and I had the Carne Asada. Not sure why the server asked us how we liked the steak cooked as it's too thin to matter. It was very good, add was the rest of the meal. I loved the coconut fried ice cream.
