Interesting menu, food was delicious and beautifully presented but could have been hotter. Portions are not large but are satisfying. Nice ambiance, good service. We enjoyed
Excellent dinner, enjoyable evening and Fallon our server was amazing!
Amazing experience, can’t wait to go again. Food was superb. Fallon made the evening the most wonderful it could be
Best restaurant in the Niagara Region by far. Besides the food being top shelf, the staff are amazing. Definitely our go to.
Very interesting menu. The only issue is it must be 3 course dinner. They do not allow 2 courses for the dietary challenged. I.e. skipping either the starter or dessert, and charge less.
My wife and I went AG to celebrate our 45 wedding anniversary. This was our first visit. The service was outstanding- our server Jackie was very friendly and answered any questions we had regarding any of the food. She was extremely helpful in helping us make our wine selection. The service was prompt without being rushed. The food itself was delicious. We will definitely return in the future.
Just what we wanted for our anniversary dinner. A quiet atmosphere, and excellent kind service ( thanks Fallon!) Beautiful dishes with care in the prep.
Food was mediocre. One of had the Flank Steak which was very tough, barely edible. The starters lacked seasoning and the pork belly main was not properly rendered down and very fatty. They charged surcharges for certain dishes was is not appropriate for a 75 dollar dining experience. Overall very poor value for money. I would not dine here again.
Reading the overall reviews about food in Niagara we were worried we wouldn’t find anywhere to go. So we booked AG Inspired Cuisine and OMG it surpassed our expectations. Our server “Jackie” (I hope I get her name right) was amazing. Knowledgeable and attentive she made us feel at home! It’s a 3 course menu ($75 which is about £40 a head). I had octopus, beef tenderloin and Creme brûlée (supplements for some dishes). My partner had a summer salad, beef tenderloin and home made gelato. The food was the vest we’d had all trip! We are had amazing red wine (suggested by Jackie) along with pre dinner cocktails and after dinner drinks. I couldn’t fault the experience. Ps look past the decor and the journey to the restaurant it’s a little dated but you won’t be disappointed once you are there!!!! (I’ve added pics but forgot to take one of the beef - because it was so good!
Superb cuisine at reasonable prices.
Wine match choices both respected Niagara and were excellent.
The room is well laid out for intimacy but has enough buzz to have an intimate conversation.
Room colours not to my liking but that is the only drawback.
We will return
This was a special birthday celebration and it was perfect.
A gem in Niagara. Great fine dining experience.
Very impressed with the atmosphere and most of all the food. Anniversary diner was a success with the hit of the night being the Pork Belly. Highly recommend getting that as well as whatever the server recommends. Fallen, our server was extremely kind and a joy to have everytime she came to the table.
Absolutely wonderful food, ambiance, and service. A+
Was a little surprised with the fries side with the flank steak, not disappointed but could’ve been something a little more appealing!
Bisque was amazing, absolutely incredible as well with the scallops!
Dessert was incredible as well! Great job to the chef and the staff for an amazing experience!
We are from Montreal, a city that offers exceptional restaurants. This restaurant was top! Service was excellent and fast. Food was just delicious, original dishes with fresh produce. The octopus was the best I have ever had. Worth the money and time to go and enjoy.
It doesn't get better than this, absolutely amazing food and fantastic service by our server "Fallon".
We will definitely be back for more of what this fantastic restaurant has to offer!
Best restaurant experience from beginning to end!
The restaurant is OUTRAGEOUSLY overpriced! In Ottawa or Montreal for the same type of run-of-the-mill "fine dining experience", you would pay 50% of the price, but this is Niagara Falls and everything has a premium. The portions were very small and we left hungry. Also, there was a mark up on the only hors d'oeuvres and deserts worth ordering... Frankly, not worth it. We had much more fund and food at Skylon Tower, and while the food was much less sophisticated, the experience was unique! Save your money and skip AG!
AG, the restaurant on site of The Sterling Inn, is first class!!!!!! Such quality food, perfect serving sizes, and great options from a pre-fixe menu at $75 Canadian dollars per person. Stephan seated me while my husband was delayed a bit, and he made a beautiful glass of Cab Franc appear before me as quickly as I needed it! The two of us enjoyed appetizers of the prosciutto salad and the grilled octopus, entrees of the AG tenderloin and seared scallops, and desserts of pumpkin creme brulee and lemon lavender cake. The octopus was thick and tender with perfect grill marks, adding a lovely light char taste. The tenderloin was cooked perfectly as were the scallops. The lemon lavender cake is something I would never have thought I would enjoy, but MAN, it was so light in flavor, dense in texture, and very very moist. My husband enjoyed the creme brulee as well. This is a farm-to-table restaurant with a chef who has been there 15 years. GO to AG! Thank me later : )
Amazing!!! Will be back!!
Food was amazing, service was great. Overall 10/0 experience.
Their farm to table approach is excellent! All our course were delicious. Service was also amazing, Melanie was very knowledgeable with both the food and wines, extremely good at what she does! We will be back.
The bread was stale..felt like was made weeks ago. Otherwise it was good
Best place to have a great quiet dinner in Niagara. No kids.
Our waitress, Fallon, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Helped with wine selection and explained the menu and “farm to table” options very well.
Once you're seated at AG, you "feel" the atmosphere right away. It's elegant, modern, relaxing. The staff greeted us cordially and provided us a QR code (no menus; they're trying to keep things antiseptic during this Covid chaos).
Most of the food is locally sourced (fresh & organic). The sweet corn veloute is a flavor explosion. It tastes like the freshest, sweetest corn you've ever eaten, except that it's served as a soup.
Everything we ate was fabulous. The duck was tender and paired with amazing flavors of peach and ginger; there was also brandy soaked cherries with it for added zip. The flank steak was tender, juicy and loaded with flavor. The steak was paired with chichurri sauce, (everything on the menu has incredible flavor combinations).
For dessert, the artisanal cheese platter is sizable enough that I thought it was for two people. The accompanying honey and sweets on the platter make for a delicious blend: like I said, flavor combinations everywhere.
The service was impeccable from start to finish. If you're looking for dining that is unique, classy, and satisfying, AG is a place you have to visit.
Amazing food! Quick & friendly service. Best creme brûlée I have ever tasted
Everything thing about the experience was amazing. The food is out of this world and the staff is awesome! Will definitely be back!!!
What an amazing experience from start to finish. We were settled into a private room which was so perfect for our group of six. The staff provided excellent and very professional service. Kudos also to the chef as all three courses were delicious and wonderfully presented. A special thanks to Stephan for his attention in ensuring we had an excellent evening…we so appreciated it. We have never been disappointed at AG’s and we will continue to return.
Great anniversary dinner! Will be going back again
Fabulous food. Fantastic service. We will be back when we are in Niagara Falls again.
Our experience from the moment we walked in was top notch. The food was fabulous and the service couldn’t be beat. Skip the touristy spots with a view and come here for the food!
It was so good we went two night while in Niagara area, outstanding service especially by Fallon and the young man who served us the first night, I did not get his name, he was helpful with my husband’s walker. The food was fantastic. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area.
The food, environment and service in this restaurant are beyond imagination! You have to go there by yourself otherwise you miss a lot!
I was surprised to find such a nice restaurant in Niagara Falls which caters more to touristy attractions. The food was wonderful farm to table. The setting is nice and romantic. Service was friendly and attentive.
This was our first time dining at AG since August 2019 due to Covid restrictions. We felt very comfortable returning with the protocols AG has put into place. AG is still one of our favourite restaurants and the food, service and ambience lived up to our expectations. We have recommended AG to our friends. Looking forward to dining at AG again in the near future.
We have eaten at AG several times. This was the first time post-pandemic/post lock-down. The food was good but the service was not stellar. We had a reservation and when we arrived, we were left standing at the front for 5-7 minutes to be seated. A table had to be cleared for us. The servers were friendly but not consistent with our prior experience at AG. For this caliber of restaurant they were lacking in some of the more refined skills.
We loved our three-course dinner at AG. Each course was intriguing, well executed and delicious. Great atmosphere and excellent staff. Would definitely go back when in Niagara Falls and would recommend this restaurant to friends.
Really good menu choices amazing service
