   Lovely decor, abundant food, and excellent service!! Server offered to take pics and they were IG-worthy!! Amazing experience.

   Service was friendly and helpful. Cherry Blossom themed interior was nicely done, can tell there was much effort put into it. But the food was awful. I don't usually leave negative feedback, but for a top hotel and an expensive ($75) tea set, I expected much more. None of the food items, from sweet to salty, were good. The taste, texture - all mediocre at best. It's a far cry from similarly priced afternoon tea sets I've had in the major cities in other parts of the world, or even slightly cheaper sets in Vancouver - Secret Garden, Adonia. This is my first and last time partaking of food at the Fairmont!

   Impeccable service and very friendly staff. The food was great. Will return for the next themed high tea.

   What a fabulous experience. Estelle our waitress was excellent. So lovely and friendly. I ordered a vegan afternoon tea which was delicious. My friend ordered the non-vegan afternoon tea. Both delicious. So with going to this fabulous hotel fir a delicious afternoon tea.

   Great ambiance and decorations, amazing food. Surprisingly very filling! I had the Sencha Kyoto Cherry Tea which paired perfectly with the foods.

    I made the reservation a month in advance and specifically noted that one of our guests has a severe nut allergy. A few days before the original date, I had to reschedule. I called and spoke with someone who kindly moved our reservation to two weeks later. However, it seems the allergy information I had provided was not carried over by the person handling the rescheduling. When we arrived, I reminded our server about the nut allergy. He responded in a very dismissive and rude tone, saying, "Well, this wasn't noted on your reservation." I replied, "I did mention it when I first booked, and I’m informing you again now." Later, when the server brought the tower, he pointed out that the macaron was the only item containing nuts and had separated it. Unfortunately, one of the cookies—specifically, the matcha cookie with chocolate coating on the third tier—also contained nuts, which was not disclosed. This resulted in a medical emergency, and we had to rush to the hospital. What was meant to be a special and enjoyable experience turned into a deeply distressing one. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to ensure better handling of allergy information in the future.
