   I brought my grandmother who can be very particular but the staff were very patient and understanding. Beautiful spot and view, would recommend to anyone.

   We had such a lovely experience. The tea, sandwiches, scones, and desserts were delectable.

   Beautiful afternoon tea this evening, the whole tea was absolutely gorgeous, staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We are so grateful, can’t remember the girl that serviced us name but she was from New Zealand, she was so bubbly, welcoming and kind. Couldn’t do enough for us, especially since I have a dairy allergy all the deserts were amazing. 100 percent would recommend to anyone. Thank you 💗

   For a five star hotel, I expected a better level of service and afternoon tea experience.

   It was very ralaxing. Great idea for a special occasion. Food was good and looked great, fine bone china, as much tea as you can drink and it was lovely tea. I had a nice view on the Sugar Loaf, my husband didn't. The hostesses were very polite and helpful. I would do it again, some day. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

   Wonderful with my elderly mother celebrating life. Perfect table with view of her beloved Sugar Loaf mountain. Sandwiches, scones and pastries all delightful. Favorite might be the fig apple tartlet..❤️

    Eden is a huge asset to the hotel group! She was really welcoming, kind and courteous! We watched her Voice audition afterwards at home as my mam was delighted she sang her Happy Birthday not realising she was an excellent singer! The Voice’s loss is MHL’s gain. The food is good, but more variety in the dessert flavours would benefit. The sandwich bread felt slightly hard to touch, as if they’d been prepared earlier and left in the fridge uncovered. The serving set does not have matching teapots which is noticeable & individual spoons to accompany the scone condiments would be good additions. Overall enjoyable experience courtesy of Eden.
