We did not have afternoon tea or stay as the booking was not recorded by the venue. The venue do not serve afternoon tea at the time we had made our booking. This was really poor as our group had travelled long distances for a catch up and was greatly looking forward to the event

Our booking was not found by the Reading room. You asked us to confirm the bay before and we did. This ruined our Christmas Eve.

I agree with previous comments that the sandwiches were a bit dry, some lacking enough filling - the Ting (the Shard) might be a good place for inspiration. Service was spot on, nothing to complain about.

We were sat near a wall that was stained with wine which was quite off putting. The sandwiches were a bit dry and lacked filling Cakes and scones were lovely

The staff were nice, and accommodated an extra person, the food was okay, the scones were a bit dry and the staff did seem to disappear for quite a long time. However overall was okay value for a get together after lockdown! :)
