In the English tradition, afternoon tea is served daily in the Tea Room. Consistently voted Best Afternoon Tea by the Phoenix New Times and Arizona Republic readers, full tea includes finger sandwiches, scones, pastries, and a selection of fine blends. Classical music provides a charming backdrop for a relaxing afternoon break.

Pricing as follows:
• Full Tea - $100 + Tax and 22% Service Charge
• Royal Tea - $115 + Tax and 22% Service Charge
• Grand Royal Tea - $145 + Tax and 22% Service Charge
• Grand Royal Rosé - $160 + Tax and 22% Service Charge
• Children’s Tea - $60 + Tax and 22% Service Charge

We will begin taking reservations for our Holiday Tea offerings on September 27th, 2024 at 9am.
ENTERTAINMENT by Lisa Pressman, from 2 pm - 5 pm.

My mother and I have been going to afternoon tea for over 30 years! Usually every March for our birthdays and around Christmas time! I’ve been to tea all over the world and the Phoenician is absolutely the best! The little sandwiches are so fresh and delectable! The scones with homemade Devonshire cream and lemon curd melt in your mouth and if you have room after all that the pastry’s are decadent! Not to mention my favorite Jasmine pearl tea that smells like the tropics! Also I always have champagne too! The wait staff is phenomenal and if you are lucky enough to have Wanda you are in for a treat! We love her!!

I took my mum from Australia to tea for her 75th birthday and it was a very memorable and wonderful experience! Our server Sabrina went above and beyond to make the experience so special! 5 star service, food and ambiance. We also loved the beautiful soft live piano music. It was an absolute delight! Thank you!!!

The service was very good. All the servers were well informed about what they were serving and were very pleasant. However, I felt that we were on an assembly line.the food was adequate..not great. Everything was formularic. I felt rushed even as they said we could relax. I could barely hear the piano music, which was coming from an adjacent room..they should at least have speakers in the actual "tea room" .The ambience in the room was lacking..there was only one Christmas wreath hung in the room…although the hotel lobby was well decorated for the holiday. They took a "complementary " picture of our group..a nice touch however the resulting print was very dark on the subjects because of the lights on the tree behind us. They shouldn’t have bothered. Very disappointing!overall, for the cost, I could not recommend this event to anyone.

Holiday Tea at the Phoenician is always a delight! The delicate piano music paired well with our delicious teas, sandwiches, scones, and gorgeous desserts. The service is always impeccable, and the atmosphere is perfect for a lovely afternoon with friends.

Food was good, not great. The fillings in course one sandwiches seemed a bit thin and service seemed a bit rushed as the afternoon wore on. Champagne flowed nonstop. The ambience was perfect, just a bit noisy from the crowd, so you couldn't hear the piano.
