Disappointing the scones had obviously been re heated so were hard and not enjoyable, we asked for more tea and the t pot was just filled with hot water (No new t bags) so it was weak, sandwiches were ok cake selection poor, not good value for money flies buzzing around all in all not good.

Very disappointing. In fairness the sandwiches were delicious. The cake selection good and all very nice. The place however is dreadful. It’s like an old village hall. Classless and dirty. Terrible furniture and decor. Very unkempt. Would definitely not recommend.

Manor house is beautiful place with a beautiful gardens around, parking space very comfortable and close, the food was very good and the staff very nice and very good service.

I have visited The Manor for Afternoon Tea several times over the years and the experience has changed over that time. The service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. However, I would suggest that 1 small Tiptree pot of jam and 1 portion of clotted cream is not enough for 4 scones between 2 people. That said, we had a lovely afternoon! Thank you.

Friendly staff, great service. A good selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes which were tasty. I will definitely be returning.

After reading some of the bad reviews i was a bit apprehensive in going. But I was pleasantly surprised. The food was lovely. I enjoy more of the savoury stuff so having 6 sandwiches each was a bonus even though the sandwiches were fairly plain. 2 large scones each and 3 individual cakes to share plus 4 macaroons. And a huge pot of tea each. I was very full up by the end.

Yea was good apart from a couple of sandwiches that bread was dried up , but cakes lovely the hotel near the toilets could do with a update really but apart from That good
