The Fancy Fox Patisserie is a beautiful tea room and cake boutique in Broadway West, Leigh-on-sea serving delicious seasonal Afternoon tea, Artisan cakes, Speciality coffee and various other sweet and savoury delights.
We serve lunch Daily. This includes a variety of sandwiches, baguettes and home made quiche. Lunch is served on a walk in basis so pop along and enjoy.
Vegan, gluten free and dairy free afternoon tea is available. (Please note any Dietary requirements and preferences including if a Child afternoon tea is required must be written in your special requests box when booking and a minimum of 24hrs before your visit.)

Fancy A tipple don't worry we've got you covered from prosecco to cocktails chilled to perfection there's something for everyone at The Fancy Fox. With our beautiful flower installations it's the perfect place to chill and chat with a glass of wine.

You must go to the Fancy Fox! Let’s start with decor- absolutely stunning! The most beautifully decorated cafe/restaurant I have ever attended. Food- outstanding! Fresh, home made and absolutely delicious! We had the Afternoon Tea and it was THE BEST I have ever tasted! And I didn’t feel full after- that is always a sign of good ingredients! Service! Exemplary! Kerry was our waitress and the loveliest waitress! So kind, friendly, attentive, polite, smiley! Utterly charming. My daughter has special dietary requirements and Kerry was extremely accommodating to her needs. I cannot recommend the Fancy Fox highly enough. We will be back! Thank you for an amazing Afternoon Tea.

Lovely food And couldn’t fault service But so over priced Afternoon teas shouldn’t be more than £20, the mark up is ridiculous.

Hi Su, We are glad you found the food lovely and the service faultless. We have often been complemented on the quality of our food, as it is all homemade by us here at the Fancy Fox. I find it odd that you would expect such delicious food and faultless service to only be worth £20 baring in mind the current cost of ingredients, staff labour, utilities, and countless others daily costs to a small businesses in 2025. We keep our prices in line with current costs to us to allow us to keep serving the best quality products and providing the best service. I would like to add that our afternoon tea is always pre-booked in advance so the cost is known to you before you come, so we as a buisness feel very disheartened that you feel this warranted a 2 star review. Beautiful cafe, decorated to be very picturesque. Serviced but lovely ladies that love their job and want to ensure you have everything you need. A great selection of teas that are constantly being refilled, food was displayed beautifully and tasted great! Compliments all round

Has a lovely afternoon tea at The Famct Fox for Mother’s Day. They replenished tea when asked and nothing seemed to much trouble. I had contacted them before hand to arrange different sandwiches to accommodate my niece and it was all ready and waiting on arrival. Really lovely place and good atmosphere

As soon as we arrived we received a warm welcome and was shown to our table. The waitress explained everything to us. I am coeliac and my dietary requirements were well catered to. Tried a few new flavoured teas and the food was extremely tasty. Would definitely recommend here for Afternoon tea, will be back soon! Thank you.

Lovely afternoon tea. Our dietary requirements were adhered to and no reminder needed. Our waitress was lovely and made us feel special. We could have had unlimited tea and the choice was very good. Overall a lovely experience
