Absolutely appalling!!! Booked on 28th for afternoon tea for my birthday, on 29th. Received confirmation email but when we arrived we were 1)not greeted by anyone. 2)When we asked the girl behind the desk/reception where we needed to go for our booking, she just said “You’re sure you booked for today?”I responded, Yes. She walked off without saying anything and left us standing there for the best part of 5mins. 3)When she returned she said they had no booking and asked to see my confirmation. When I showed her she said “We need three days notice for an afternoon tea booking and you shouldn’t have got a confirmation. 4)When I asked what they were going to do regarding our booking, she simply shrugged her shoulders and said “Well we don’t have the ingredients for afternoon tea, so........” THAT WAS IT!!!! Nothing more to say. Needless to say we just left and found somewhere else to eat. REALLY NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!
