The Craigie Hotel is a stunning Edwardian house, situated just a short distance from Edinburgh in the town of Penicuik at the foot of the Pentland Hills.
The newly refurbished listed building boasts 17 elegant bedrooms, restaurant and bar, and superb facilities for weddings and all other occasions, situated within lovely, leafy grounds.
We believe in the outstanding quality of fresh Scottish produce and work with local ingredients to produce seasonal menus. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in our restaurant, childrens menus are available, and we happily cater for all dietary requirements.
The bar at The Craigie Hotel is a great place to relax and unwind, and is well stocked with a great selection of craft beers, wines and cocktails, as well as coffees and cakes, and bar snacks. Four legged friends are very welcome.
In the summer months visit our large, secluded beer garden and outside terrace, in the winter months our log fire awaits.

Our generous main function room – with a maximum capacity of 150 guests – boasts outstanding, modern function facilities and is an elegant backdrop to a wide variety of occasions. Our secluded pod - tucked away in the corner of our gardens - can cater for up to 30 guests, and with its own bar and seated terrace it's the perfect party pad, a cosy alternative for smaller gatherings, or a quiet meeting space.
