Our server Kevin was very helpful and polite. He answered all of our questions. The food was very tasty and the hotel was beautiful
Palm Beach is a beautiful place and The Chesterfield is just a beautiful The afternoon tea was terrific. I would highly recommend.
I highly recommend afternoon tea at The Chesterfield. The service was excellent and the cakes and tea were superb. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all our questions and desires. The atmosphere and decor are simple and elegant but not dated.
This is the second time we have been to tea at The Chesterfield. I can’t say enough about our experience. The food was excellent - LOVE the scones., and we loved our server, Greg. We went their for Valentine’s Day instead of our usual dinner.
We have no food allergies, but overheard another couple ordering - one had a gluten allergy. They were able to accommodate her without any problem or delay.
We will definitely be back.
Our waiter Greg was outstanding. He made the experience special
Our server Kevin was outstanding.
Outstanding ambiance and service.
It was a great experience. I love afternoon tea and it was very similar as having it in London. Everything was good. Beautiful facility. The only problem is more people should be going. I was the only one there. Locals should be participating in afternoon tea. Make it a tradition. I recommend this place highly.
Usually have tea in the Library or Meeting Room, across from that. We were surprised when we were ushered into the restaurant. It was darker, the music was not particularly "tea time" fare, the chairs are great for dinner, but were not the comfortable chairs in the lounge for tea, and the menu was a bit confusing and didn't list the prince's tea. However the service was outstanding - some of the best we've had. Finally, the food was great, as it always is.
Yea for a birthday for my mom. It was amazing
Wonderful holiday tea with my daughters. We will be making this a yearly tradition.
Always a wonderful experience! We have tea for every Christmas and birthday! A very British High Tea with exquisite service and excellent food!
From beginning to end a totally disappointing experience. Service was non existent. Food horrible. This is an English hotel that does not know how to properly serve afternoon tea. I would never go back.
The Chesterfield is long over due for a total revamp.
Kevin was our waiter and he was a sweetheart! The food was really good and so was the variety of teas.
A very special once a year holiday treat
Christmas Tea is a tradition we celebrate with our family that lives in London. With 2020 COVID travel restrictions we chose to celebrate at The Chesterfield since it’s as close to being British as possible. We were not disappointed. Noor, our server, was excellent. He greeted and directed us to a lovely table with Christmas decorations and The Chesterfield Classic Red Carnation. Noor was personal and gracious as he explained the “Festive Afternoon Tea”. We also celebrated our missing family with Holiday Mimosa’s, Sparkling Wine with Pomegranate Liqueur, Cranberry Juice and garnished with Fresh Cranberries. They offered 11 tea blends and we chose two teas which were served in classic lovely Churchill tea pots with strainer to capture the leaves. Noor did not rush the “tea experience” but timed the delivery of our silver three tiered of Tea sandwiches, pastries and hand dipped chocolate strawberries. There were five sandwich and four pastry offerings with servings for each person. The only difference from a traditional British tea was the size of the sandwiches. In Britain they are usually cut in triangles with limited filling. Leopard’s sandwiches are “generously sized” and delicious. Likewise, the pastries were amazing but we knew Hot Scones with golden raisins served with Devonshire Cream and Strawberry Jam would finish the tea. When we were seated Noor explained the scones would be made fresh. They were incredible. We were fortunate to have the Pastry Chef, Albert Oliveros, come to our table to ask if we enjoyed our experience. We said their “Festive Tea” had exceeded our expectations and truly helped makeup for missing our family for this tradition. Special thanks to Noor for a lovely afternoon.
I happily brought 2 friends to celebrate the holidays with Afternoon Tea. I've had many meals at the Leopard Lounge over the last 3 years including Afternoon Tea, so I anticipated showing them a lovely time. When we arrived the table was set up inside when the reservation was for outside. We waited for a table to be set up and found ourselves within 10 feet of Zoom call with a hotel employee doing a sales pitch. When we asked her if she could move she said we shouldn't have been seated there! She eventually left and willing but perhaps rather inexperienced service began. The server was lovely and willing but didn't have the skills or experience I've come to expect there. The sandwiches were quite good. The sweets - 2/3 of the 3-tier Tea tower - were mediocre. I'll certainly return but it will be for a regular meal or regular Tea and not for the Festive Tea.
Afternoon tea was an amazing experience! The Festive Tea special menu for December was exquisite! Everything tasted divine and the tea and special mimosa were fantastic! Kevin was just the right amount of attentive without being annoying, and the other staff were friendly and helpful! Will highly recommend to friends and family and shall return myself soon!
Relaxed atmosphere- takes you back to days of old- elegant atmosphere and traditional Tea.
It was Amazing! Every single staff member we came in contact with was delightful!
The bread for the sandwiches was so thick that we had to cut away 2/3 .
The pastries were pretty but store bought and not great tasting
The scones were excellent and the clotted cream was very tasty
We will return later in the season looking for improvements prior to recommending to others
We loved having High Tea here. Well appointed hotel, staff attentive and professional. Delicious food, and tea varieties.
Expensive but a great experience...it was too hot in the room... it would ne much better if menu is more specific..like the tea, it was a lot and we should've just ordered one but it was our first time and we didn't know we ordered too much...
Lovely tea in a great atmosphere. Service is excellent as usual
amazing experience, Maria was a charming host, pastries and sandwiches delicious
I’ve had high tea here at the Chesterfield several times however, haven’t been in quite a while. We dined in the Library which is my favorite room at the Hotel.
The service was fantastic and the ambiance is charming. The presentation was lovely and they made our birthday celebration special.
I was disappointed with the clotted cream which was not as I had expected. It had the consistency and flavor of whipped cream.
Having lived in the UK, I know it to be thicker and tastier.
Aside from the aforementioned, our experience was lovely.
Booked high tea for my mom's 80th birthday celebration. She said it was wonderful. Her two friends were very impressed with the service, the food, the presentation and the atmosphere.
Lovely “old Florida” charm, great tea service
Wonderful tasting sandwiches and pastries. My favorite tea was a mango infusion.
We chose to be inside and it was quiet and intimate. Kyle was an outstanding server... Can't wait to go back!
High tea in the outdoor courtyard was lovely! Great amount of food for the price you pay vs. high tea in other places (London, NYC, etc), so much so that we took about 30% of it home in a box. Our server Kyle was a rockstar too.
Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was definitely quiet at the hotel, but that was honestly preferable as we were able to catch up without yelling over the normal restaurant din. Definitely a fun experience that brings you back to a more polished era and would recommend on a day when it’s not too hot and you can sit outside.
Service was impeccable and the scones were to die for!
We sat in the main dining room, since it was too hot outside. The hostess was lovely. The staff was setting up for dinner at 2:00, therefore very noisy. Plus, our waitstaff was very nice but lacking in attention. We were finished for at least 20 minutes, with dirty plates in front of us. Nobody repoured our tea. The scones were fair at best. I don’t mind the prices if it were warranted. Would not recommend it. We’ve had tea numerous times, but never as disappointing as there.
Had bought tea there on Valentine's day with my Beloved. The tea selection is pretty light. The sandwiches we're delicious although they weren't as delicate as a high-end tea could be. They were, is say 3 bites Ginger sandwiches as opposed to one. The scones were delicious. I just wished they provided me than one per person. The service was professional and unobtrusive. $34 for traditional tea was decent value. I certainly would return but it's also check out other ones in the area and compare.
The best Valentine Tea in Palm Beach County!
Delicious, a choice variety and great service. Definitely on our list!
Scones were great. Also the sandwiches - nice afternoon.
The food and service were outstanding. It’s close quarters in the library, but we wanted to be inside. We could hear the group next to us, but we were able to hear each other eve when we spoke quietly. It was a great choice to celebrate my mom’s birthday. It was pricey though.
Excellent service and high tea for a girlfriend’s 40th.
Lovely time with my daughter
My family took my mother to tea for her birthday, and we all enjoyed the experience. The only hitch in the afternoon was I had made the reservation for outside, and we had to wait a bit while they rearranged things, but they did take into consideration my note regarding my sister being vegetarian (they even prepared an off-menu sandwich for her, which she enjoyed very much). Our food was also delicious, and they didn't skimp on clotted cream and jam for the scones.
When it was time for the "Happy Birthday" song they brought out an adorable plush bear toy to sing it which was hilarious. Our waiter Rojay was very attentive without hovering, friendly, and engaged with us without being pushy. All the staff with whom we interacted were all smiles and very courteous.
The hotel is beautiful and the outdoor seating in the garden is lovely. It was a balmy 70 degrees on our visit but I think it might even be nice in the summer since they have huge umbrellas, and fans.
Very nice atmosphere to enjoy and afternoon. Teas I've been to in London were a little more lively with some background musicians. I think we were the only ones here (end of the holiday so people were probably traveling) so it was just quieter then I would have liked. All in all we'll come back.
