   Where do I start? The famous Castle Hotel has gone down sooooo much. We were so looking forward to it as a special bday treat. No meet and greet, ended up wandering in the foyer, asking receptionist where to go. Service very slow, no knowledge about things and very forgetful but polite and lovely. No clotted cream and jam as they run out? On booked afternoon tea🤣🤣🤣 After a little wait we managed to get some though🤣🤣

   Really pleasant afternoon tea with sandwiches, scones with cream and jam and an assortment of sweet deserts. Good atmosphere, not crowded and really excellent service. A little disappointed at having to pay for using Castles own car park when spending a reasonable amount of money in their venue bit overall would recommend the afternoon tea.

   We we celebrating the birth of our first granddaughter, Emily Rose.The food and service was exemplary.The champagne was well chilled 🍾🥂A memorable experience Thank you

   We have had afternoon tea many times at the Castle and we have always had a fab experience . Great atmosphere , lovely tea , and staff so helpful friendly and polite . Can’t wait to do it again !

   Celebrating a friend's birthday. Lovely selection of sandwiches, cakes, scones & dessert, we especially enjoyed the yummy sandwiches. Will be back again.

   Went here to celebrate my sisters birthday. We had a lot of dietary requirements which were catered for beautifully. Felt the bread on the sandwiches could of been fresher. The room & atmosphere was nice. Was advised endless refills of tea.coffee& water was limitless but the waitresses could of been more attentive of this. The staff were all very polite & friendly. Overall experience was nice. Good value compered to other afternoon teas attended. Thank you.

   We all thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon here. The food, service and ambience was excellent. It felt very relaxed as there was plenty of space between each party and we had plenty of time for our booking. Will definitely be going again!
