   We enjoyed meeting our friends for Christmas afternoon tea. Excellent service, great sandwiches. We were offered more tea and we requested more sandwiches which were brought to us. We are more savoury in taste so we took most of the cakes home for other friends. Personally I would prefer only one slice of cake like lemon drizzle rather than a selection of rich ones.

   Lovely afternoon tea, catered really well for dietary requirements and kids afternoon tea was brilliant. Always a firm favourite, the hotel is lovely and cosy. Service wasn’t very attentive, no welcome at reception, but we knew where we were going so that wasn’t a problem however, they were clearly short of staff as we had to ask for more tea, hot water and more cream, no check back to see if we needed anything else so for £40 pp I expected the service to be more attentive.

   A delicious selection of sandwiches and cakes. Nice and dainty with a lovely balance of different tastes and textures. The mojhito and elderflower jellies were crystal clear and tasted wonderful. The raspberry cheesecake was light and tangy and not too sweet. A good selection of teas which were replenished for us. The cava we ordered to accompany our tea was lovely too although it arrived rather late, however they gave it to us on the house, a generous gesture. Overall we had a lovely relaxing time and there was no pressure to leave our table.

   My wife and I were given 'Afternoon Tea' voucher at the Royal Berkshire Hotel as a gift from my daughter. Lovely location and beautiful old building in lovely well kept grounds. Afternoon tea had a very formal feel to it. Food and selection of teas, drinks was really nice. Bar area quite dark and a bit dull but nicely kept. Service was excellent and friendly. My main complaint was that the bar area had business people using it as an office, not being particularly quiet about it either and I now know all about new 'Specsavers' office in Farnham as couldn't help but hear all about it from guy giving a colleague a briefing!! Other people on Laptops and talking business made it not as relaxing as it should of been. We left earlier than we would of done as had had enough of listening to business talk. I know this is more common these days but it doesn't work for me or my wife.

   Sandwiches were very fresh and cakes very light. 4 different fillings for sandwiches and 5 different cakes and 2 scones. Only negative comment was that it was a bit dark and the room seemed a bit unloved x

   Lovely to be treated so well in a pretty setting. Mums 8oth birthday t she loved it.

   Lovely afternoon tea had a the Royal Berkshire Hotel. I booked it for a friends birthday and we sat talking and eating the lovely cakes and sandwiches for over 3 hours. Service was spot on and very friendly! Highly recommend.

   I’ve been before but this time staff were so busy they didn’t have a chance to check on us and it was near on impossible to get their attention. Afternoon tea itself was good quality as always

    We booked afternoon tea for my mother in laws Birthday and would thoroughly recommend it. The room was lovely, staff very friendly and helpful and a generous and good selection of cakes and sandwiches. Well worth the price.
