   Such a cute way to spend time having tea and eating lunch. The presentation of the tea pots and the food was adorable. Our waitress was very sweet and gave us some of the history of high tea and its origins. Very fun!

   Was unsure of my booking after reading current reviews, but we experienced a positive experience. My Mother requested gluten-free (in advance), and the kitchen accommodated. It wasn't up to her standards, but I'm glad they had options! Our waitress was pleasant, attentive, and quick. I did not enjoy looking at the brick wall outside of the room where we were seated or the animal paintings on the wall. My Mother had a nice view though of the beautifully holiday-decorated fireplace.

   The food was just ok, clotted cream was not good and no lemon curd as part of service. Used the preserves which were good but not enough and could not get more. It was underwhelming, we were disappointed in the experience, especially for the price.

   I was very disappointed with my entire experience at the Mansion for afternoon tea. I made an Opentable reservation for 3 guests but had to modify my reservation to 2 guests and started calling the restaurant the day before my reservation. I was aware that the restaurant requires modifications to be communicated within 24 hours before the reservation so I made sure to call the morning before. I was unable to get through to the restaurant and when I finally did get someone who answered, I was told I would be transferred to the restaurant but my call was dropped. My various calls after that were also unsuccessful. When I arrived for my reservation, the front desk staff was understanding of the change but the server who did the service for the afternoon tea was rude from the very start. She appeared very frustrated at the change she was unaware of and informed me that I would need to be charged for 3 guests since they were not notified of the change. I was there celebrating with my little daughter and we tried to make the best of it but this server really soured the entire experience for us. When she brought the food over (literally huffing and puffing the entire time) she let me know that the kitchen plated food for 2, so because of that and because she couldn’t prove that I “didn’t call” ahead of time, I would be charged for 2 guests only. I would have been so appreciative of this had she not been so rude the whole time. For a $50/person tea, I would have appreciated at least pleasant service. This had the potential of being such a nice afternoon but the server and the manner in which she served and treated my daughter and I, made me feel compelled to share my experience. I will not be returning here nor will I recommend this to anyone.

   The food and the ambiance was beautiful and delicious. Our waiter was completely delightful personable friendly but the service was very uneven, we had to ask for our food, for the second pot of tea.. everything was lovely but the experience was not what we expected. We had to ask for everything there was no flow. This suggests some sort of structural issue with how tea is generally done here

   The flavors of everything we ate were so good! The tea was a treat that made us feel special. A meal and an experience.

   It was a lovely tea and I’m happy to see venues offering this experience. My daughter and I enjoyed ourselves. Our servers were pleasant and not overbearing. We were checked on frequently.

   The service and the food were excellent! I felt like the only diner in the restaurant, and the server was friendly and attentive. When I return to Savannah, I will do this again.
