Nestled on the river bank in the city centre, Glen Mhor Hotel is the perfect place to watch the world go by.

With beautiful views of the river from our Front Lounge, you can enjoy a cup of freshly brewed tea or coffee as well as a selection of freshly made sandwiches & home baking, scones with jam and clotted cream and other teatime desserts for just £19.50 per person.

We paid near £20 pp for afternoon tea and there was a lot for the sweet selection but there was not enough sandwiches for 5 people . Very poor value for money.

Dear guest, we are sorry to hear about your disappointment. For our afternoon teas we are always getting very positive feedback but we are sorry to hear about the disappointment you felt. Our Afternoon teas has normally 4 finger sandwiches per person and the sweet selection. If you would have mentioned it during the visit we would have been happy to provide you more sandwiches. Frozen scones shop bought very disappointing especially in a hotel like Glen Mhor I would expect freshly made!

We arrived at the Glen Mohr only to find that they did not have our reservation and could not accommodate us. We spoke to the manager and he was very apologetic. I showed him our Open Table confirmation. In all of my years using Open Table, I have never had a restaurant not have a reservation.

A cozy experience in the bar of the Glen Mhor hotel! Everything was delicious and we loved the warm atmosphere. Make sure you book ahead of time.
