It was great apart from toast falling from the ceiling and on line it said afternoon tea for four £39.90 not £67 60 we paid

Very nice food, cakes lovely and variety of non fussy sandwiches. Pot of hot chocolate instaed of tea/coffee was great. Good social distancing. Polite and courteous staff.

The staff were lovely but the food was really poor the scones tasted off and the cakes had no taste! The sandwiches were dry and tasted like cardboard

Some sandwiches were almost like bread and butter as the filling was so thin. The vegan sandwiches were a green leaf and some sort of chutney, the cake wasn't great. The scenes, cream and jam were lovely and the waiter was pleasant. We still had a great time but I wouldn't recommend this hotel for afternoon tea.
