   Afternoon tea for our wedding anniversary, this is served in the bar area as I think restaurant was being refurbished, so a bit uncomfortable to eat. Food was ok service was fine

   I went here for Afternoon Tea (in the Art Bar) and don't have enough good things to say! The food was amazing (as was the tea), and the same goes for the ambience and the general setting- a really beautiful space. The staff were also so friendly and helpful (we were left alone the perfect amount... nothing worse than feeling harassed when dining out...!) I will definitely be visiting here again, especially after having a peek into the wonderfully pink Allium Restaurant. The Abbey Hotel really was perfect; we felt relaxed, comfortable, and satisfied! P.S the ladies' bathroom itself is enough to go back

   We enjoyed a celebratory afternoon tea for my Mum's birthday. The food was a little late coming out but the staff were very apologetic. Once it arrived there was a delicious selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones & plenty of it! The atmosphere and surroundings were calming and elegant, the staff were all very friendly. We will be returning!

   We had a lovely afternoon tea with a group of friends, the sandwiches and cakes were excellent and the champagne was perfectly matched! Could have been a bit more efficient at bringing the tea , champagne and food together!

   Arrived at the bar and they didn't seem to know I had booked afternoon tea at 4.30 . Eventually told to take a seat and our table was set. Coffee was brought first. When pouring the coffee and my fingers were covered in black from the silver coffee pot. I asked where the toilets were to was my hands. The coffee pot was then cleaned. The food came nicely presented but a bit pricey at £30 with glass of champagne which I had & my husband the £21.50 I thought the bar/restaurant to be very stuffy and we had 2 flies around the food permanently. Bit disappointed that nothing was offered as an apology

   very nice afternoon tea. Pricey. We were led to believe the tea was refillable and the sandwiches were also, yet we were charged extra for this when the bill arrived. Nice but not value for money.

   Unusual presentation of a typical, yet delicious afternoon tea of savoury, sweets and of course scones and clotted cream. Great value for the money. Served in a relaxed, family friendly atmosphere. I would certainly return if I was in Bath again.

   All 3 of the people that had afternoon tea were sick and had the runs the evening of our visit, you were the only place that we ate at! Very disappointed
