Wanda ROCKS! She’s always amazing and makes our experience perfect.
A wonderful experience to share with my daughter.
Wonderful afternoon tea! I have been to a few afternoon tea’s and this is one is great, the only thing I would change is the price. It is silly to be as expensive as it was. But over all the server was great and food was good
Phenomenal service with phenomenal selection of food!
I take my girls here every year over spring break. It is one of our favorite traditions! They staff is amazing and always remembers us and they make my girls feel special.
Wanda is our favorite!
Celebrated our grandmother's birthday at the Phoenician and had a wonderful time. Wanda our hostess was energetic, knowledgeable, and made the experience unforgettable. Thank you for such a great time.
We were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday. We always request Natalie to be our server. She is very sweet and attentive!
Excellent service and a very nice combination of sandwiches, scones and desserts. Everything was delicious and the view is wonderful. I highly recommend this High Tea location as one of the best in the area.
It was a lovely afternoon. The food was fresh and the service was great. Would highly recommend. We went on a Tuesday afternoon and it was full.
My favorite afternoon tea I have ever been too. Everything from the food to the china was so lovely. Will be back again!
Fantastic experience, and 10/10 recommend bringing guests from out of state who are looking to experience the finer things AZ has to offer! The pricing is a little hefty for what amounts to finger sandwiches, tea, and wine, but they offer you an unlimited selection (including to go boxes) which is incredible. Plus the views of the resort pool and greens are absolutely stunning!
Visiting from NY and we come here every year. It’s always a great experience and great food. Definitely the best afternoon tea we have been to. A special shout out to Wanda (one of the servers) who always remembers us and goes out of her way to make this a special occasion! Thank you Wanda and the Phoenician!!
Great Ambiance. Very elegant. Piano music was a nice touch. We enjoyed our high tea immensely.
Beautiful ambiance to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The tea and food were delicious and staff/service was superb.
I enjoyed the ambiance, food and service. I have been going to Phoenician since I was in college. (in the 90's) I love Phoenician Resort. Definitely going back for Afternoon tea.
Annual Mother/Daughter Tea at the Phoenician. Excellent in every way as always, which is why we come back every year. Natalie rememberers us each time and goes above and beyond to personalize our experience.
It was Valentine’s Day weekend. The hotel only had the Valentine’s Day prices which was almost double the normal.
This is always an expensive experience, and I know it, but it was the day after Valentine’s Day so they called it a Valentine’s Day tea and raised the price even more. Food and all was just the same as their regular tea. NOT HAPPY! Is the Phoenician really this desperate for money. Just don’t make your reservation close to a holiday or,you will be unpleasantly surprised by the charges.

Wonderful Valentines Day tea at the Phoenician!
Beautiful hotel with amazing landscaping and pools. The tea food was nice and the service was great, but the location is in the busy lobby next to the bar that has sports on TVs and the noise level was way too high. There are way too many people walking through, and it was just not a relaxing or beautiful experience as I had hoped.
Wonderful, Delicious and you can even request a Vegan Gluten free menu. Which I did and the scones were delicious, like cake. The sandwiches were fantastic, all veggies. There is no vegan cream though, so I cheated a little. The dessert was berries and a vegan cream. Everyone else went with the real stuff and they loved. The tea is great too. We all ordered a different tea and tasted all the teas like a wine taste. We went for my mother in laws 89th and she really felt special as they sing Happy Birthday to everyone accompanied by piano.
This was a lovely tea experience. Live piano music, delicious food and good service. As it is popular it was busy and I think they would benefit from another server or two to truly perfect the experience. Our wait was primarily at the start of our service and did improve as we went along.
My sisters teapot had a bad chip right on the edge of the spout, and should not have been left in service. They removed it immediately once we pointed it out. I just feel that and the slow start weren’t a good match for the exceptional service the Phoenician is known for.
Went here to celebrate a birthday. Food was great. Staff was friendly and helpful in picking out teas for the table.
Always a great time at tea! Great food and tea!
I have gone several times and enjoy it every time. However, this time I felt rushed and I’m not sure why.
I love tea time at the Phoencian. The service is excellent and the hostess, Wanda is fabulous. Thank you for a great afternoon.
We love Wanda, she is the absolute best!!!
Wonderful 3 course afternoon tea with scones as well. Highly recommend! Tea options as well as Prosecco or Champagne too!
Absolutely LOVE having High Tea at the Phoenician! Always consistent. Elegant, awesome food and Wanda our always "requested" server is an wonderful delight. Looking forward to doing it again soon!
Poor quality sandwiches, desserts obviously made from frozen and pre-made ones offered by food service supply companies (you can easily find the same petit fours at Trader Joe’s and Costco’s), tea was weak and hot chocolate was watery, scones were the size of saucers but not flavorful, Devonshire cream was “off,” server was abrupt and very talkative...not impressed at all. Loved the vistas and the view, the piano was lovely but the food and drinks left us with a bad taste in our mouths. I’ve already wanted friends about the poor quality experience because the quality of the tea did *not* meet expectations.
As always, a delightful experience. The Holiday Tea is a tradition for us and as always, it did not disappoint. Natalie, Mandy, Giovanna - and all the staff - are phenomenal and make your experience above and beyond! We had the gluten free menu and it was delicious. Can't wait to come back for tea soon.
Great afternoon to celebrate the holidays with friends. We will continue to come back each year to see Wanda, as she has become our friend too!
The servers are so welcoming, friendly, patient and special. They are a huge reason that I return every year. It is a relaxing atmosphere with a live pianist in a beautiful setting. I recommend this for any occasion.
The Phoenician holiday tea has become a tradition for my daughter and I. This was our third year and we’ll be back next year. The tea is exquisite and the food is scrumptious. A wonderful way to celebrate Christmas!
Tea wasn't up to par - probably because of the holiday and crowd. Food wasn't over the top as in the past. Tea got cold and was never reheated. Will attribute all to the crowd. We will return, though.
It exceeded my expectations! I will definitely go back for the experience!
Very Expensive, we were placed on a cocktail table not a table top, had to cross my legs away from the lounge table really annoying. We accommodated the situation however l I got the bill the value for the low bar top and cost were humiliating. If you expect for us to pay for 2 $265 at least give us the dignity to a proper table for tea. Rip Off Sorry but never going back unless you class it up for all patrons. Embarrassing for my guest as well.
