   The food was good. The service was really great and I think the interior is very nice and inviting. My personal dislike was the musician/piano player. She was very good and talented, however the restaurant is small and it was too much for me. Had I known my conversation would be competing with a vocalist, I would have selected another location. My opinion is just a personal preference, so if you like loud vocals during dinner, this is your place.

   When we arrived we had to wait to even be greeted and then we were told that they had overbooked the reservations and Open Table was just kept allowing reservations to be made. So we had to wait for an extra 30 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. The food is overpriced for what you get. I spent $20 on some grilled vegetables with no rice or side dish. I had to send it back because it was cold and they served my meal on a wooden cutting board that they also serve steak on. They did comp us desert because of the reservation issue, but like the entree, the desert was also meh at best. Nothing special here, move along.

   Clam chowder delicious- salad amazing- fried chicken nothing to write home about. Dessert- death by chocolate- not much chocolate flavor.

   Fabulous restaurant with excellent food and service. Great wine selection to go with fantastic cuisine - several housemade items including tomato jam for the frites! We loved our food and have high curiosity about the other dishes. Looking forward to our return :-)

   Was great! Andres was awesome. Made great food and drink recommendations. The manager Dexter also helped make our special celebration an experience we would like to repeat.

   This is by far the worst dining experience we’ve had in Carmel, with the trifecta of bad food, bad ambience and horrible service. Maybe it was an off day for the chef, but only one dish in our party of 7 was passable. It’s full price dinning for quality of fast food. The heating system must have been broken. Even with our jackets on we were freezing. Food quality and ambience are subjective, so I won’t go on complaining more. The worst part of the experience was the dishonesty of our server. While giving us the explanation of the special of the day, he said the catch of the day was $35. When we got our check it was $40. The server said he mistakenly told us it was 35 but corrected it to 40. Not one person in our party heard the correction, and we all heard him say 35 twice. For the few bucks it was not worth our time arguing with the waiter. It’s far more satisfying to voice our complaint on this platform.
