A stylish steakhouse, sushi counter and cocktail bar with panoramic views of downtown Toronto, Aera celebrates the art of contemporary American cuisine. Presenting a range of superior steaks and chops, a seasonal raw bar, and creative reimaginings of beloved comfort dishes, Aera promises peak indulgence 38 floors above the city.

Please note that all reservations from 2:30–5pm from Monday to Friday, after 10pm from Monday to Wednesday, and after 11pm from Thursday to Saturday will be offered our bar bites menu. For our full à la carte lunch and dinner menus, please make a reservation during our regular dining hours.

Join us on July 29 at 6pm for an unforgettable summer evening celebrating the bold flavours and lively spirit of Argentinian dining on the 39th floor at Open Aera. Crafted by O&B Corporate Executive Chef Anthony Walsh and the Aera culinary team, this exclusive five-course dinner draws from Argentina’s rich grilling traditions and communal dining culture. With deep regional roots and strong European influences, Argentinian cuisine is known for its bold, rustic flavours. Featuring premium cuts of beef, fresh seafood, and expertly prepared seasonal vegetables, thoughtfully paired with wines from Zuccardi Valle de Uco — one of Argentina’s most acclaimed wineries. Please note: seating is communal, and space is limited. Rain Plan: in the event of inclement weather, the dinner will be hosted indoors on the 38th floor in Aera’s private dining room.

When we got there, we were seated but the couches were so uncomfortable and the table was too low. We were seated in the middle which I did not want. We ordered dessert, two cakes but didn’t really like it. It was too little for the price. Overall, my experience wasn’t the best.

Paris was a superb server— very kind to my 2 grandsons. The hostess gave us a choice of seating— all with the best views in Toronto!

We went on Saturday night and the music was very loud which negatively impacted the experience. However, the food was delightful. We went back on Monday night and had the steak tartare. It was unbelievable. The service was unbelievable and with the quieter music in the background the ambiance was amazing. I highly recommend the restaurant. I wish I could remember the server's name because he was also amazing and added to the experience. Thank you very much for a great evening!

This is our first time dining at Aera. The food was Okay but not worth the price. We were assigned to sit in the middle of the restaurant without any view. It was too dark in the middle with bright sunlight outside. The restaurant is famous in its good view and I guess the price has reflected that too. The service was just so-so, maybe the restaurant was busy at then. I would say it will be good to go there if you have the window seats. Otherwise, you could have better food and ambience with the same price at other downtown restaurants.

Did the Summerlicious menu as this was our first time to this restaurant and it was delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and had a marvellous smile. I didn’t know you needed to book a window seat online and prepay. Will definitely do that for next time as the view was impressive. The seafood tower would probably be our pick for the next visit.

I’m not sure where to begin but let’s start with the good. The food was very tasty and the restaurant was beautiful. Now the bad. I don’t know what happened with the restaurant operations the night we went but here is an honest on assessment of our experience. I organized a bachelorette party to be celebrated at Aera. I made this reservation about three weeks prior. The week before this event, I called to modify my reservation to increase the party size. I called again, two days before the event to firm up the numbers and found out that my previous request wasn’t honoured. This was the first red flag. When we arrived at the restaurant, the hostess, who sat us at our table (miserably if I may add), advised that there was a policy in place because It was summerlicious. They told us that either the whole table has to participate or for those who are not, their individuals minimum spend would be $100. Tell me why this was not disclosed when I originally made the reservation? Especially when I specifically said that we are coming for the summerlicious menu. In my experience , this would always be disclosed by the restaurant and not at the last minute. Big Second red flag. We had to negotiate with our server about this and we are grateful he was accommodating, so thank you. I understand it was a Friday night and that it was also summerlicious, but how were we waiting over TWO HOURS to be served the main course? I thought this was a little ridiculous given that an automatic 20% gratuity was applied against our party. The bathroom situation was also disappointing. When I went, there was no toilet paper in any of the stalls. I had to ask a male patron to go steal one from the men’s washroom so that I can have some to use. I did see that one of the managers rushed in to refill, but a restaurant at this standard, you think that they would be more proactive. 3/10 - food was the only redeeming factor. Do not recommend. Consider another place if you value your $.

The worst restaurant in Toronto I run a dining out group with 10k + members and I will message them to warn them about this place The staff are down right rude (manager looked at her watch while talking to me ) Service was terrible - we were charged 20 % auto gratuity and we had the worse service They kept changing their minds about policies Hopefully this restaurant does not stay in business
