A stylish steakhouse, sushi counter and cocktail bar with panoramic views of downtown Toronto, Aera celebrates the art of contemporary American cuisine. Presenting a range of superior steaks and chops, a seasonal raw bar, and creative reimaginings of beloved comfort dishes, Aera promises peak indulgence 38 floors above the city.

Please note that all reservations from 2:30–5pm from Monday to Friday, after 10pm from Monday to Wednesday, and after 11pm from Thursday to Saturday will be offered our bar bites menu. For our full à la carte lunch and dinner menus, please make a reservation during our regular dining hours.

Loved it! Amazing view and service. Food was the best, way better than other rooftop restos in the city. Was a bit disappointed the terrace wasn’t open, but it was very hot, so air conditioning with a view was nice

View was great! We went for brunch and were one of the first people at the restaurant so it was quite empty and quiet which was nice. Food was little overpriced in my opinion but very tasty. Service was okay as well. Overall good experience though!

First time at Aera and definitely coming back for more! Loved the ambience, the view, the food, and above all, the service and attention to detail. Randy, our server, was outstanding!! He made the experience 10x better!! The best ever!!!! Highly recommended!!

Great atmosphere and the food was delicious. Our server was preoccupied with other tables and did not refill water despite asking. I didn’t feel like the allergies at our table were taken seriously. We ordered the seafood tower and were instructed to “avoid sauces”. But this was very vague instruction and it would have been helpful to circle back and confirm if any of the cooked fish dishes should be avoided. The guest ended up eating almost nothing. The sushi was served and it took a long time and us asking to get the soya sauce and serving utensils for the shared dishes. It was a noticeable mark because the rest of the experience was so wonderful.

- Service was inconsistent, bordering on inattentive. Imporved as evening progressed. Lacked knowledge on wine service - Wagyu feature steaks ordered medium rare...came blue. Did not reflect expected quality - Lamb chop quality was poor in terms of meat tenderness, quality of cut. It was sinewy and chewy. Not acceptable. Preparation was poor, no sear and was also overdone. - Miso sablefish was excellent - sushi and oyster appetizers were fine - beautiful restaurant and nice ambience but noise level over the top. - We were an early reservation (6:30) and I had to shout to be heard at the opposite side of the table. - Overall very disappointing, we wont be rushing back.

Xavier did an amazing job as our waiter, also the guy in the bathroom was super kind and polite. The host was terrible and after one hour she asked us to move to a different table because they were having a big group coming, the restaurant was half empty and she put us on the bar in a very rude way, we spend almost 200$ with cocktails and appetizers and we didn’t deserve to be treated like that.
