Presenting a range of superior steaks and chops, a seasonal raw bar, and creative reimaginings of beloved comfort dishes, Aera promises peak indulgence 38 floors above the city.

Please note that all reservations from 2:30–5pm from Monday to Friday, after 10pm from Monday to Wednesday, and after 11pm from Thursday to Saturday will be offered our bar bites menu. For our full à la carte lunch and dinner menus, please make a reservation during our regular dining hours.

We recently went for father’s day brunch and had a great experience at Aera. I am glad they have halal chicken/beef. The food was highly delicious and portion size was decent. Highly recommended and can’t wait to go back.

We had a disappointing experience with the reservation and communication from the restaurant. We had booked weeks ago for Father’s Day brunch, on the roof top patio. The weather was perfect, and we were looking forward to eating al fresco and enjoying the views. We received a call the day before, in the evening, alerting us that our reservation on the patio was changed to indoors because of a private event being held on the rooftop. The private event was undoubtedly something that had been in their books for sometime, and we should have been given enough notice so we could book on a patio somewhere else. There was no apology for the late notice, and it was too late for us to cancel and make plans for a Fathers Day brunch elsewhere. There were also no attempts by the restaurant to make amends for what is unacceptably poor customer service, when we arrived for our reservation and were seated. Though we enjoyed our meal and the wait staff were friendly (hosts were cold and unwelcoming), we won’t be returning again.

Absolutely perfect! Everything was flawless, from the warm and stylish atmosphere to the delicious food and outstanding service. Highly recommended, can’t wait to go back:)

Everything was great from the service, environment, view except for my lamp chops. They were way too salty so I didn’t really enjoy it. But I whipped potatoes were amazing.

I had booked a table on the Aera patio well in advance, expecting a special evening with friends. To my surprise, I was only informed around midnight the night before that the patio would be closed due to “wind conditions.” However, the weather turned out to be perfectly fine, and it became clear that the patio had actually been reserved for a private event. Guests with prior bookings were misled and dismissed without transparency or proper communication. We were relocated to a so-called “lounge area,” which staff claimed had a better view than the central patio. In reality, the view was significantly worse — nowhere near the beautiful CN Tower view we were hoping for. The area was also noisy, overcrowded, and the furniture was dirty. When I kindly asked to move to a better table we saw available, the hostess said it could only be used at 5:00 PM. Then she said it had to be reserved 24 hours in advance. Later, she added there was a $100 per person minimum plus 20% tips. None of this was a problem for us — we were a group of six and ready to enjoy a night out. What was truly disappointing was the complete lack of customer orientation. Despite our willingness to meet all conditions, we were still denied a suitable table. In the end, we left and went to another nearby restaurant, where we had a wonderful time and spent over $1,000. Aera not only lost a high-spending group, but also my future recommendation. I’ve dined here before — the food is average (sometimes below) — but we came for the ambiance and experience. Unfortunately, the way we were treated completely ruined our impression of this restaurant. It’s clear the staff could benefit from proper training on how to communicate with guests.

The entrance to the restaurant was impressive, with a charming walkway leading us through a space that gave us a fantastic view of downtown Toronto. The atmosphere definitely set the tone for a memorable dining experience. We were fortunate enough to be seated in a beautiful area that offered a stunning view of the CN Tower, which made for a perfect backdrop throughout the evening. For our meal, we opted for the Aera seafood and sushi tower, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The variety and freshness of the seafood were remarkable, and each piece was perfectly prepared. The only slight miss was the octopus, while it was tender, it could have used a little something extra, like a flavorful sauce or perhaps some charring or smokiness to elevate its taste. That said, the rest of the seafood tower more than made up for it, and we left feeling thoroughly satisfied. We decided to skip the meat dishes after reading mixed reviews about them, and I have to say, I think we made the right choice. However, the seafood more than made up for it, and we left feeling content. As for the drinks, the cocktails were top-notch. Well-crafted, refreshing, and with a perfect balance of flavors. All in all, this restaurant offers a beautiful ambiance, great food (especially if you're into seafood), and amazing cocktails. A solid choice if you're looking to enjoy a special night out in Toronto!
