So first of all, I went near the end of the pandemic on a Saturday evening. I’m sure on another Saturday during normal times, it would be packed. The games were fun. The food was good but not outstanding as this place is known for their board games. I would totally go back! Already trying to plan my next visit!

Thank you Ziggy for coming out to enjoy our space and games. We look forward to seeing you again!

I love Adventure Pub! A great place to grab a bite to eat. Good, food, great cocktails (I had the Stimpak). I love the attention to detail with nerd culture references in the menu option names. Met up with some wargaming buddies for lunch. Will definitely be back to play a game!

Love the game concept of Adventure Pub. Food was delicious and not your average pub food. We were never hurried and our server Pax was very attentive. We will definitely go again.

Re-opening under limited seating and after so long, I wanted to see if the quality had changed - and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it had become even better than I remembered. Best staff in the Greater Boston area, wonderful arrangements for the current structure they have to work with, and the food is better than ever. I'm going back again tomorrow with friends.

It’s a weird place - not just because of the concept (games combined with dining) but because it’s cavernous and for the first hour there, we were the only party. The food was serviceable but not terrific; the place was “beta testing” a brunch menu that didn’t really set off any fireworks. Eggs were overdone, kielbasa was stupidly scant (order the bacon), and coffee was $5 a cup. I get that they need to cover the cost of people ordering a cup of coffee then sitting all day to play games, but that wasn’t our purpose. $3, $3.50, ok. I don’t pay $5 in Starbucks. Business will pick up, and dinner may be a more fun experience, but this was a weird visit.

The idea is great, but not very well executed. Great variety of games. The service was not very good. The food was not very good. The waitress was very nice and professional but the rest of the staff was not. Our drinks were brought to us one at a time with 10-15 minutes in between. The runner had no idea which drink she was carrying or who to give it to. The space is way to big for the restaurant and not conducive to a fun meal. The space had no warmth (asthetics) and was the exact opposite of a cozy space conducive for family and friends to gather for a fun game night. The management needs to find a way to make smaller spaces in the large room and to add a coziness. We intended on staying for drinks and dinner, but ended up leaving after having our unimpressive cocktails and apps. Arlington has no shortage of restaurants, so we had no trouble finding a better place. Honestly I have no idea how they will stay in business.

We arrived first thing on a Sunday morning for brunch and the hostess seemed annoyed by our arrival. The service was inattentive and seemed perpetually confused. People who got the exact same meal were charged different prices...and coffee was $5.00!! The food came out in waves, and was not prepared very well at all. French toast sticks were hard and burned on the edges. Fruit was gooey. Scones were stale. The over light eggs were actually prepared well, though. The atmosphere was told to be "adventurous," but other than the map on the wall - not so much. And what was very uncomfortable - patrons walking over to our table and squeezing through to look at and retrieve the games to play on the shelves and in the window. It's unlikely my group will return.

Thank you for taking the time to give us this valuable feedback. Please feel free to reach out to us through info@theadventurepub regarding the charge discrepancies, we can look into the transaction and issue any refunds necessary. Our Bottomless cup of coffee is $5 but is refillable as often as you need. We are also sorry to hear of your discomfort in being placed next to the gaming shelf if your seating is ever not to your liking we will be happy to move you to another table. Thank you!
