Had a fun time at Adrift. They have such a fun decor/theme and also really did it up for the Holidays! I think this place is for sure worth a stop for a drink to get in a festive island holiday spirit.
However, I would say skip making this place your dinner spot. Most of the food was not all that great. The Spam quick snack was FANTASTIC but other then that we were underwhelmed.
I do suggest getting a reservation as the place was very busy and many people got turned away.
Fantastic food, fun atmosphere, great service, and killer cocktails!
Adrift has always been a favorite bar of mine. The ambiance is incredible - it feels cozy and intimate, but still funky and interesting. However, there was a management change a year and a half or so ago. Ever since then, the prices have gone up, and they don’t offer some popular menu items anymore. They got rid of anything deemed “inauthentic,” like the sliders or guacamole. I don’t think any of us sought out Adrift for “authenticity,” so I miss the old Adrift!
Wonderful..... I appreciate an operator making the effort to provide guests with a special experience all around. Unlike most others that are too cool to care, Adrift pays attention to the small details that make a difference. Keep up the good work and keep creating. Thanks
Second time even better than the first. We felt welcomed right at the door. The serving sizes were just right. The dessert with the Littleman Ice cream was incredible!
What a Tiki Bar! Great recipes, customizations, and theatrics. We'll be back soon.
So cozy! Really tasty food and strong cocktails.
From the appetizers (Spam Masubi! <3), through the cocktails, and on to dinner Adrift is firing on all cylinders. Delicious flavors, fabulous presentation and all surrounded by a fun and unique atmosphere. We've taken different groups of friends each time we've been and folks are so pleasantly surprised that we're often asked "How did you find this place?" Be that guy with who knows what's up...take your friends to Adrift!
Really great food. We got the pu pu platter and all of the entres on it were great. Very flavorful pickled delights and perfectly executed chicken and pork ribs. Food is great for the price. Cocktails are also great (but not cheap).
Fantastic, authentic tiki experience. Drinks are exactly in the spirit of Trader Vic's and Don the Beachcomber. Food options are limited, but authentic Hawaiian and South Pacific, done exceptionally well.
Very loud, food was overrated. Pricey for what received.
Expensive drinks, but strong!
Have been looking for a Hawaiian/Tiki themes place for years, FOUND IT! Fantastic drinks, food was very tasty. They were out of the BBQ ribs which was a bummer especially since the menu choices aren't numerous. The spam musubi was the best I've had. Will come back for sure.
The staff takes the time to capitalize on their delicious menu items with presentation and theatrics. Everyone is really kind and offers excellent service despite being overwhelmingly busy!
Service and food were good. The music was so loud, both my dining companion and the waiter could not hear what we were saying. I requested music be turned down to no avail. Despite the rest of the experience being good, we won't go back as good conversation is essential to a great dining experience.
This was my birthday celebration, and I really wanted to go here because I love all things Polynesian and Tiki. We sat outside and the patio was nicely decorated if small. The service was great - not too fast and not too slow. The drinks took a little longer than usual, but they were SO worth it!! We ordered the PuPu Platter and the poke, both of which were really good. All in all - a very good time!
It is a fun Tiki vibe, though a bit of a rocky start. We had reservations and were seated promptly, unfortunately right next to two young teenage boys around 13. Their parents were at a large table behind us. This is an intimate restaurant and we were very close to them. The boys were playing back and forth on their iPhones and watching videos which completely killed the romantic and fun tiki vibe. This was not the kids faults, it is not a restaurant to let kids watch movies without headphones on a saturday night. We asked about moving and the hostess said they could move us as soon as a table became available, so we went to the bar and had a drink. We liked the bar tender a lot and almost just stayed at the bar for the night.
The service was very polite. They were well aware of our issue and the manager came over and apologized. The bar tender was great, gave us a nice shot for our troubles and we had some good rum drinks. As soon as the new table opened we were seated. Nice waitress. I ordered the prawns and my wife had the curried chicken. Both good. My favorite was the Poke small plate. The food was good, staff friendly and helpful with our situation and drinks were good. It's a fun change of pace for a restaurant.
I loved this place!! What attracted me to this place was it was Hawaiian theme. I am native Hawaiian and the food was delicious and the atmosphere was incredible. Kudos to the chefs! My favorite was the Hawaiian coleslaw.
Thank you! We will be back
Solid drinks and classic contiki. A top 10 TikiBar in the US for sure. The food menu also makes this place. Excellent vegetarian option as well. Not a bro-bar with sweet fruit bombs. This place is legit. Clientele was diverse and hip.
The food was GREAT. drinks were great. The only thing that upset us is how long our waiter took to do anything. It wasn’t busy at all and it took about 30 minutes to get our drinks. He was just extremely slow
Was disappointed in the new menu changes. While it was still good, it was not nearly as good of the old version (pupu platter)
Excellent drinks and food on the happy hour menu, helpful staff, and unique aesthetic. The music was pretty killer, too.
Our adult children kept telling us how good and fun this place was. Went there last Saturday and we were pleasantly surprised. Fun interior and drinks, great staff and the food was imaginative and delicious. A must go to.
Overpriced drinks, unhelpful staff. Made to feel they wanted to turn the table quickly even though over half the restaurant was not full. Drinks were well made but very overpriced for what you get. Pushed through the process, food brought before we were ready, drinks took long time and had trouble getting waitress to bring additional drinks. Had problem with food and waitress shrugged it off so couldn't tell you if food is OK as we didn't dare eat it.
Adrift is awesome! They recently updated some menu items (including the pupu platter and punch bowls) but everything is just as wonderful as before. The Krakatoa is our new favorite drink.
Drinks were amazing but the food wasn't great. It was trying to be too inventive.
Really fun atmosphere, yummy drinks and tasty food. The service was friendly but very slow; took a long time to get our drinks.
I came here on a date night and we loved it so much we brought family here the following week. The drinks are amazingly delicious and the staff are super friendly.
I took my second family out for dinner. They wanted Hawaiian food so I took them to this Authentic Hawaiian restaurant where the atmosphere really made it feel like we took a trip to Hawaii.
Tasty unique foods, creative drinks, fun environment, friendly staff.
What a great find and worth our drive from the 'burns. The staff, from host to batender to server to manager (who stopped by to answer a question about a painting), were warm, friendly, down-to-earth and made us feel welcome and special. The menu is small, but well done. The kitchen is brilliant...we loved everything we had from salad to dessert. The food might make more sense if you have visited Hawai'i, or maybe just know a lot about it. The poke was delightful, very imaginative in how it was served. We can't wait to return!!
Great experience celebrating Father’s Day with the family. Food was great, just small portions. Service was a little slow but manager kept us informed and checked on us often! Even gave us a couple cocktails for free due to the delay. Fun times
First time there. Really nice atmosphere. 🌴 Ordered two drinks. 🍹🍸 Took about 25-30 minutes to get our drinks. ☹ The pork & chicken Hawaiian platters were extremely tasty. 😁 Note: We were comped for our drinks.
Such a fun place with great ambiance and amazing food.
Been to Adrift a few times. Food is never a disappointment! Ambience is top-notch! Drink menu is second-to-none! Service is a shot-in-the-dark. We've had tremendous service (i.e. friendly, engaging, timely, energetic, genuine) and we have had servers who seem to forget that we exist and provide little follow-up. This last time exemplified the latter of the two. Our server, Layla, was not the pillar of great service. She really put forth minimal efforts to ensure we had a wonderful dining experience. Perhaps she had an off night. We'll definitely be back, the experience is worth it, but a little more customer service training would put this place in the best of the best category!
I am most defiantly coming back to ADRIFT! and we are bringing our friends! the Mai Tai was OK! will try another cocktail next time. They were slightly overpriced. The food was amazing, so yummy!
Lastly, the service! Not impressed. Slow to be responsive to our needs on drink refills, alcohol service. And we came early, not at the height of peak business time.
Always fun. Delicious cocktails and food!
Amazing everything! Great service, great ambiance, food was incredible! Must get the poke but everything was great, you can't go wrong with any menu selection! Will definitely be back!
Fantastic food...the ribs are incredible! Great cocktails and relaxed island ambience.
Great to have a tiki bar in Denver. The decor is very cool and is something that will be appreciated even by tiki aficionados. The drinks are all good and pack a nice punch. I always just a tiki bar by their Mai Tai and, while it wasn't quite up to the Don The Beachcomber level, it was quite tasty. Also tried the Zombie and it was good too. Everyone's food was all excellent - a highlight was the Poke which was served in a dry ice bowl - great presentation.
The only thing I'd say was a negative was the music. I would swap out the current blend of hip-adult music for some exotica and surf music and the vibe would be much better.
Overall a fun experience and I will be back.
Food took forever and was cold when it finally arrived so it didn’t taste that great. Worse $100 meal I’ve had in years.
