Our worst experience here. We’ve been patrons for years and have loved it but not tonight. Almost 2 hours and never got dessert to go with our cold coffee. Will try again but we’re very disappointed this time.

This time I had the polenta for an appetizer and the Chicken Peperonata for my entree. Both were amazing! I highly recommend them! The sauce for the polenta is pretty spicy (which I loved) so a word of caution for those who are sensitive.

As in the past, our experience at Adriatic Grill was fantastic. The food was creative and flavorful, server was friendly. And the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. Because it's a "grill" the noise level was a bit high for quiet conversation, but overall fine. A great meal.

The food and service are consistently great here. The chicken Parmesan is delicious. My husband wasn't feeling well and the waitress took time to help him with a light selection. Our son loves the pizza.

Long wait for cold and burnt food. $214 meal ticket not worth it. This was our third and last visit. Waitress was awesome. I don't believe in sending back food and eating in shifts. When I take a party of six out to eat it is to all eat at the same time. Two of my guest had salads so don't thinks four meals should be hard to provide eatable food.

Was my very first experience with this restaurant. Went there with my family on 31 Dec 2017, and we had a good time. Good food, good service, and friendly personnel. Also, there is a discount for military members (10% I believe). For that particular occasion however, it seemed like there was less trust between either the manager and restaurant personnel, or the manager and the customer. Although the waitress asked to visually check military id for discount purpose (which seems normal), they would later ask to take the military id card to the manager when paying for the bill. This may be uncomfortable for some people (including myself). I would suggest the manager come to the client and double-check the ID, if possible.

We found this wonderful place right after moving back to Washington from Florida, and what a find! Our first visit was after a stressful trip, moving, etc. The service was great, Christine was the best, the food was fabulous. I think we dined 5 nights in a row. We now come back as often as possible. Food is great, service friendly and prompt, and we will keep coming back! Thank you for a wonderful place to eat!

Our server was knowledgeable about the wine list and accommodating of our family’s dietary preferences. The food was delicious, and tasted very much like quality ingredients were used.
I’d happily go back next time we’re in town!

Xmas Eve dinner at Adriatic Grill was unfortunate & disappointing. I had been to the bar a few months back & it was nice, so we gave it a try. 8:00 PM was the earliest time left when I booked with Open Table and there was only one other seating in the entire place & a few people in the bar when we got there.

They put our party of 4 into a 4 top booth - it was a little cramped with all the winter coats, etc, (which no one offered to take) so I asked to be moved to a round table that sat 5 so we would have more room & were told no.

So I went up to speak to the hostess who said they could move us a table, but not the round one, to a square one for 4, in case a party of 5 came in (?!) again the place was almost empty. Upon taking our order we were informed they were trying to close to go home for xmas eve so if we thought we wanted a 2nd drink we would need to order them at the same time so the bar could close - (?!!) so there are all 4 of us at a square table each w/ water & 2 cocktails - so 12 glasses! We ordered dinner and were told if we wanted dessert we needed to order it now - at the SAME time we ordered dinner (?!!) when our food came, my chicken parm & my daughter's Fettucine were lukewarm, though my two son's meals were hot and they liked them. SO clearly ours had been kept under a warmer. we had ordered 2 choc molten cakes for dessert that were brought out immediately after our meals, served also lukewarm with whipped cream instead of ice cream, which was melted already - inedible - we each had 2 bites. The bill was brought immediately after that - nothing subtle about wanting us out of there - our res was for 8 PM & we were back in our car heading home by 8:45.

I understand wanting to go home, but it was our holiday too, we paid the same price as the 1st guest that night and it would have taken so little effort to make it a lovely meal for us , prevent this review and the lost patronage from us in future & we go out several times a month.

I loved the open table option.

However, we had asked for a booth and they apologized that they "missed" that request... also the reason we were there was to celebrate my son's 12th bday. I had to remind them so they would tell our server. From that perpsective, I was disappointed. The food as always (we have been coming to Adriatic for years) was delish as always and our server did his best & was friendly, but we had to ask for water and bread was scarce (he said they'd been busy earlier.. our reservation was 6p) although the table next to us did not seem to be lacking...

Overall, it was ok. I will say the last few times we have been in, and seated in the restaurant section, its not been that impressive; its definitely not the experience it used to be. Although bar service is usually always on point...

One last thing, just because I have kids (17/12) doesn't mean I want to sit by other (much younger) kids. My kids are basically adult patrons... please ask my preference, or recognize they aren't "littles".

Thank you.
We love Adriatic... and will always reccommend and visit. There just needs to be some attn to details I feel in our opinion.

Happy Holidays!

Ambience and service was up to par. Too bad the food was not. My steak salad was dripping wet and completely tasteless. The steak looked like it was just thrown on the plate and have buried in the wet lettuce. Very unappetizing. My husband had a pizza which he said was good, but nothing special. I like coming to AG. Please step it up as this is the 2nd time I have been disappointed. Thank you.

My wife and I love to sit in the bar for dinner. However, this time I had some out of town relatives visiting and decided to sit in the dining room. The service was very slow. One of our party asked for a small caesar salad before dinner, and they came with a field green salad and seemed very confused that is was wrong (plus the server was going to set the plate down to the person on my left by reaching over me, we were at a table not a booth). I had ordered mozzarela marinera for an appetizer, it never arrived. The dining room was not that busy, so I am not sure of the reason for the slow service. Additionally, they were out of bread! What Italian/Mediterranean runs out of bread???

I really do love this restaurant and was very disappointed. It'll be a while before I go back to the dining room.

Great setting for an employee's 30 years of service lunch party. Great variety of wonderful food. Very attentive staff and no errors on ordering! Separate wine and desert list. Awesome appetizers. I've, on other occasions, sat in the bar and truly enjoyed its atmosphere. Perfect for any occasion.

Very disappointed for the price I paid. Got a single glass of wine instead of a carafe. Crumbs all over the seat in the booth. This was far from the standard that we are used to from the Adriatic.

We always enjoy the occasional visit to Adriatic Grill. It's over 30 miles away from home, and we typically encounter terrible traffic driving between Olympia and Tacoma. The trip is worth it to experience what I would call sophisticated Italian comfort food. Their menu is tilted towards seafood, but I don't care for seafood. But from what I've seen, the seafood dishes are attractive, plentiful, and are a hit with customers. I had a small Caesar salad and chicken fettuccine alfredo. My partner had a small Caesar and the lasagna along with a glass of merlot. Both entrees were hearty and flavorful. The respective sauces (cream, tomato) were freshly made that day and slow cooked. My alfredo dish was a bit heavy on the butter, as I emptied my pasta bowl save for about 1/2 cup of butter and oil. I soaked some up with bread, but it felt a bit like overindulging. We skipped dessert since we were quite full of rich food, and it was a Sunday anyway.

I rated 4 stars for the service, not because it was bad. We had an excellent and competent server. But she would mumble a bit and then take off, causing us to think a couple minutes before realizing what she said. One time she said "I'll bring your drinks." Then added as she whisked away: "And bread." The bread part wasn't terribly audible. At another instance, a different server picked up our empty plates. Then our serve walked over and said "People are always getting ahead of me" and took off. We didn't understand the context right away and she wasn't around to clarify. But she was still friendly and I would just perk my ears up more if she is my server again.

I went here because of the good reviews, but was sorely disappointed. The service was poor. I had a reservation but sat at the bar because they said I'd have to wait a while for a table. The bartender kept saying she'd be right with me, but her attention was so divided that it took her a while to take my order, bring water, etc. The butter separated from the alfredo sauce, so my pasta was sitting in a bowl of oily butter. I couldn't eat it. After I told the bartender about the problem with my order, she offered to have them remake it, but I declined because I was grossed out. Then, one of the waiters asked her what was wrong and, right in front of me, she gestured toward me and said "well SHE's not happy with her order." That was rude. It took a long time for her to close out my bill for the glass of wine I had, too. I'll never go back.

Chose Adriatic Grill for a reunion dinner with an old friend from out of town. We were seated immediately upon arrival, about ten minutes prior to our reservation. Mostly seafood on the menu, which makes sense. My friend had steamed clams and pasta and I had the Balsamic Barbecued Pork Chop. The portions were generous and mine came with a side of risotto. I enjoyed a glass of red blend wine and my friend had a Coors light.

My pork chop was cooked to perfection at medium. I was completely full and took leftovers of the risotto home. My friend was unable to finish the clam pasta but didn't have anywhere to keep leftovers.

This was about my third visit to the Adriatic Grill. I find the food is always excellent, the service is good and the prices reasonable.

I met friends for dinner at 5:30 pm on a Sunday. Despite having a reservation and the restaurant not being 1/3 full, we had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. When I asked why the delay, the hostess said that they were understaffed because they were not expecting to be "this busy."

Once seated, we had a very friendly server who took good care of us. Unfortunately, the food was just OK. My appetizer of steak kabobs and fries was very salty; the house salad was good. Happy Hour house wine was $5.50, which is not a great deal.

My friends liked their lasagna and spaghetti squash with prawns. If there is a next time for me, I'll try something else. For the prices charged, I expected better.

My friend had to send her steak back 2 times before she received it cooked the way she wanted. She waited almost another 20+ minutes and when it finally arrived all the flavor had been cooked out. My pork chop was a very fatty chop smothered in way too much basalmic sauce.
