Ambience and service was up to par. Too bad the food was not. My steak salad was dripping wet and completely tasteless. The steak looked like it was just thrown on the plate and have buried in the wet lettuce. Very unappetizing. My husband had a pizza which he said was good, but nothing special. I like coming to AG. Please step it up as this is the 2nd time I have been disappointed. Thank you.

My wife and I love to sit in the bar for dinner. However, this time I had some out of town relatives visiting and decided to sit in the dining room. The service was very slow. One of our party asked for a small caesar salad before dinner, and they came with a field green salad and seemed very confused that is was wrong (plus the server was going to set the plate down to the person on my left by reaching over me, we were at a table not a booth). I had ordered mozzarela marinera for an appetizer, it never arrived. The dining room was not that busy, so I am not sure of the reason for the slow service. Additionally, they were out of bread! What Italian/Mediterranean runs out of bread???

I really do love this restaurant and was very disappointed. It'll be a while before I go back to the dining room.

Always delicious. Attentive service, great ambiance. Bread baked fresh throughout the day in the pizza oven. We enjoy having the kitchen in full view. Particularly recommend the Bolognese.

This was our 4th time and it is always wonderful! The smoked salmon penne was delicious! Best pasta I've had. We always share a salad and an entree and they split it onto two different dishes without us evening asking. Highly recommend!

This is a decent Italian restaurant in a convenient location. This was a get-acquainted business meeting and we found the noise level easy to talk over.

Great setting for an employee's 30 years of service lunch party. Great variety of wonderful food. Very attentive staff and no errors on ordering! Separate wine and desert list. Awesome appetizers. I've, on other occasions, sat in the bar and truly enjoyed its atmosphere. Perfect for any occasion.

Very disappointed for the price I paid. Got a single glass of wine instead of a carafe. Crumbs all over the seat in the booth. This was far from the standard that we are used to from the Adriatic.

We always enjoy the occasional visit to Adriatic Grill. It's over 30 miles away from home, and we typically encounter terrible traffic driving between Olympia and Tacoma. The trip is worth it to experience what I would call sophisticated Italian comfort food. Their menu is tilted towards seafood, but I don't care for seafood. But from what I've seen, the seafood dishes are attractive, plentiful, and are a hit with customers. I had a small Caesar salad and chicken fettuccine alfredo. My partner had a small Caesar and the lasagna along with a glass of merlot. Both entrees were hearty and flavorful. The respective sauces (cream, tomato) were freshly made that day and slow cooked. My alfredo dish was a bit heavy on the butter, as I emptied my pasta bowl save for about 1/2 cup of butter and oil. I soaked some up with bread, but it felt a bit like overindulging. We skipped dessert since we were quite full of rich food, and it was a Sunday anyway.

I rated 4 stars for the service, not because it was bad. We had an excellent and competent server. But she would mumble a bit and then take off, causing us to think a couple minutes before realizing what she said. One time she said "I'll bring your drinks." Then added as she whisked away: "And bread." The bread part wasn't terribly audible. At another instance, a different server picked up our empty plates. Then our serve walked over and said "People are always getting ahead of me" and took off. We didn't understand the context right away and she wasn't around to clarify. But she was still friendly and I would just perk my ears up more if she is my server again.

This place has been great each time I've gone. I have to mention the only reason the noise level was so high was because there were children at the next table over. Nothing terrible though. Great place.

I went here because of the good reviews, but was sorely disappointed. The service was poor. I had a reservation but sat at the bar because they said I'd have to wait a while for a table. The bartender kept saying she'd be right with me, but her attention was so divided that it took her a while to take my order, bring water, etc. The butter separated from the alfredo sauce, so my pasta was sitting in a bowl of oily butter. I couldn't eat it. After I told the bartender about the problem with my order, she offered to have them remake it, but I declined because I was grossed out. Then, one of the waiters asked her what was wrong and, right in front of me, she gestured toward me and said "well SHE's not happy with her order." That was rude. It took a long time for her to close out my bill for the glass of wine I had, too. I'll never go back.

Chose Adriatic Grill for a reunion dinner with an old friend from out of town. We were seated immediately upon arrival, about ten minutes prior to our reservation. Mostly seafood on the menu, which makes sense. My friend had steamed clams and pasta and I had the Balsamic Barbecued Pork Chop. The portions were generous and mine came with a side of risotto. I enjoyed a glass of red blend wine and my friend had a Coors light.

My pork chop was cooked to perfection at medium. I was completely full and took leftovers of the risotto home. My friend was unable to finish the clam pasta but didn't have anywhere to keep leftovers.

This was about my third visit to the Adriatic Grill. I find the food is always excellent, the service is good and the prices reasonable.

I met friends for dinner at 5:30 pm on a Sunday. Despite having a reservation and the restaurant not being 1/3 full, we had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. When I asked why the delay, the hostess said that they were understaffed because they were not expecting to be "this busy."

Once seated, we had a very friendly server who took good care of us. Unfortunately, the food was just OK. My appetizer of steak kabobs and fries was very salty; the house salad was good. Happy Hour house wine was $5.50, which is not a great deal.

My friends liked their lasagna and spaghetti squash with prawns. If there is a next time for me, I'll try something else. For the prices charged, I expected better.

My friend had to send her steak back 2 times before she received it cooked the way she wanted. She waited almost another 20+ minutes and when it finally arrived all the flavor had been cooked out. My pork chop was a very fatty chop smothered in way too much basalmic sauce.

This was a family birthday for my wife. Promptly seated and service was very good. They do charge $10 for bringing your own cake. Food was just average with a little higher than average prices. It had been well over a year since we had eaten at the Adriatic Grill and I think the food quality has diminished. It is a handy restaurant if you are shopping at the Tacoma Mall.

We had a good time. The grilled romaine sounded great, and it was nice, but it was under dressed to the point that much was just eating romaine lettuce. What was frustrating is that we made a reservation with opentable and when we arrived they could not find our reservation. Waited almost 15 minutes.

This is my fourth trip to the Adriatic Grill. I have enjoyed the food on each trip and the service has been from good to great. This trip was no exception. We went a little earlier this time than we usually do and it was quite a bit quieter and more relaxing. The Cioppino special was received well by diners in our group. All in all a very pleasant meal experience.

Not impressed at all this visit! Ordered 2 pork chop dinners, and they were so over cooked and dried out the server should never have brought them to the table. The waitress noticed neither of us had eaten, and offered us free desert. I didn't push the issue, but if a customer doesn't eat their meal because of an error on the restaurants part, the customer should not be charged, or have a reduction in their meal price, not offered a free dessert. Visits in the past have been much better. Let's hope Adriatic Grill can pull it together.

1. when I placed my order, I handed the menu to him to take and he said he would collect it after he took everyones order which left me holding onto to mine and others. Most if not all restaurants I have gone to will remove the menu as the order is placed.
2. A couple of us didn't get our soup before our main course when delivered to another. It cam e with our meal. No reason was given
3. French fries though tasted fine, looked a bit dark and wilty.
