Contemporary American
Adrestia features an inspired California menu that is shaped by local and seasonal ingredients, Japanese and broader Asian cuisines, and the Valley’s warm Mediterranean climate.

The Adrestia kitchen is led by Chef Hideki Myo, a Tokyo native who brings more than 25 years of culinary experience to the team. He approaches the Adrestia menu by tapping into culinary traditions and ingredients from Japan while focusing on the modern, seasonal cooking he has done for more than two decades in California.

Guess it’s a new place in the hotel. Was not easy to find, it even doesn’t has its name showed anywhere. The food was great, tasty and delicate. Two appetizers and two entries were all great except the wagyu burger tastes a little dry. The service was rarely there, not even water refill, which was disappointing.

Brand new beautiful hotel, with a cool vibe and restaurant. Burger was GREAT, Fries were awesome and the Corn Bread was amazing!! Only two issues were the live music in the lobby was a little loud, and the valet parking was TERRIBLE. I had to wait 20 minutes for my car because the single valet parking attendant was on break. Would recommend!!

The restaurant is basically situated in the lobby of the Tetra Hotel which didn't make for a very romantic date night dinner. I felt like everyone could see who's dining in the restaurant as soon as they walk into the hotel. We had our anniversary dinner there but it didn't feel romantic or intimate so I wouldn't suggest this restaurant for a date night which was a letdown. However, the service was excellent and Jasmine was a wonderful server. The food was also quite good and solid enough that we enjoyed everything we ordered. Unfortunately, nothing we had was amazing and unique enough for us to want to come back. In combination with the poor location of the restaurant, I don't think we'll be coming back unless someone else picks the restaurant for an event.

Food was really good.......particularly the lobster sando. Some of the items were a little expensive but some were reasonable. I was surprised that they charge for water which I didn't realize until I got the check. Also, the parking validation they provided did not work so we ended up also having to pay for parking.

Came here for the Whiskey bar, but stayed for the great food. Staff very attentive about my wife's allium allergy. Skillet cornbread delicious, little gem salad perfect, lobster sando like the best grilled cheese sandwich, and branzino cooked better than I did it earlier that week. Great service - but, disclaimer, we were the only diners there on a Friday night! Seems like weekends are slow nights since this is in a business hotel in Silicon Valley, but I am happy to keep coming here before it gets packed...

Spacious restaurant off the lobby of a brand new hotel. Modern vibe. Comfortable seating. Friendly and efficient service. Excellent food. Recommend the Ceaser salad and Steak. Imaginative desserts. Go before the teeming hoards find out about it!

Food is creative, service very good. The only issue I see is wine selections are limited.

We had a great dinner. We were a group of 7, including kids. The menu is not big, but has good variety of items. The food was very good, with unique flavor combinations and a fine-dining feel, with good size portions. The kids liked the options on the kids menu and even tasted some on the main-menu items and enjoyed everything. We especially liked the fish items - crusted Branzino and flash fried yellow tail. The decor is very nice, and the only down side is that you still feel like you are in a hotel, as the restaurant is not totally separate from the rest of the lobby area.

It’s a new restaurant so we’ll give them some time to get their rhythm. Service was suuuuuper slow. Food: Drinks were good, starters—lobster sando and sesame shrimp good but the lobster sando wasn’t very hot. Wagyu burger was eh. Chai panna cotta was nothing special. Wait a couple of months for them to get it together before you try it unless you like sitting around for long stretches.

Familiar foods in tasty, creative combinations made our meal memorable. Wine selection was somewhat limited and overpriced, but decent. Didn’t mind since the plan was to go to the adjacent whiskey bar for an after dinner drink.

Adrestia was only open 2 weeks when we went and while they are still getting their legs underneath themselves, we give it high marks. The main courses seemed more conventional, so we decided to try most of their small dishes - that is usually where the kitchen can take more risks. Except for the carrots, all the dishes were well executed, beautifully presented, and quite tasty. In rank order: Hamachi Crudo, Mini Grilled Lobster Sando, Midnight Roasted Tomato Fritters, Skillet Cornbread, Burrata, Flash Fried Yellowtail Collar, Crispy Sesame Shrimp, and Roasted Tri-Colored Carrots. Yes, that is a lot of food for 2 people. The wine list had a broad selection, and reasonably priced. Service is friendly, though not quite to the level of the food. Our waitress just poured the wine (too much of it) rather than let us try it first - a minor point but won't happen as the staff gets more seasoning. The restaurant itself is open, inviting, with tables spread far apart (there is a large communal table in the center), and has coolness to the decor that I found both appealing and relaxing. Adrestia is a welcome addition to the South Bay dining scene. The biggest challenge may be finding it, as it's out of the way, tucked into a hotel. But it's well worth checking out.

Food was excellent. Wish there had been a drink menu with more than the beer/wine/soda options we were given. Cocktails and Mocktails, etc. Would come back for sure.
