This dinner was a return trip to Adolfo's, and it never disappoints. We tried both soups, and they were excellent. The pasta fagioli was the best I've ever had. The entrees were cooked to order and were inventive, fresh, and delicious. We didn't have dessert this time, but on previous occasions, they were clearly house- or locally-made.
Wonderful place for a birthday dinner. Staff was excellent as was the food. Bravo!
One of our favorite restaurants
Excellent food and our waitress Jessie was wonderful
The only suggestion is to lower music and Not have a live band ( restaurant too small for live music)
Slow service but food was good.
Our first time at Adolfo's, and it definitely won't be our last. So much character ... food was great ... service was friendly (thanks Tyler) and efficient. We loved this place!!!!
I am gluten free and they were so easy to accomodate me with any menu item. Food was outstanding~waiter was outstanding~ looks like Robert Kraft...lol
Adolfo's never fails. Had a wonderful dinner with relatives from out of town who raved about their meals. Thank you!
Very good Italian restaurant. Whenever I'm in Springfield, this is a must stop for me. Very nice authentic atmosphere, good food.
Never a bad meal at Adolfo's. Can't beat their pasta bolognese! And I love the half portion I can get.
you have to love a restaurant that does not disappoint. Ever since it has opened the quality has never waivered.
We have enjoyed Adolfo's for several years now. Don't miss the mushroom appetizer for the tale. Just enough for four. The Bolognese is excellent. I lovd the white beans, escarole, and sausage. Even though it's an appetizer, it's large enough to split in half for a main dish. I always take the other half home for lunch. Food is excellent, so one can't go wrong.
Never disappointed at Adolfo's. They had a keyboard player playing Xmas music, which was nice. Johann is an awesome waiter!
We had to wait for another guest to ask his server to seat us, after being ignored by at least 2 other staff members. Food was good, but service was lacking.
Food was delicious. It was very loud and hard to carry on a conversation.
Went early on a Saturday night with kids. Sat down at 6:30. Just ordered pasta. Food came 1:20 later. Food was good, but wait was bad.
The atmosphere and service were excellent. I had the scallops and shrimp, which were prepared well although I thought the dish could have benefited with an increase in herbs.
Adolfo’s is a very traditional Italian restaurant with fenomenal food and ambiance. Can’t be missed if you are in Springfield.
The service was a little slow, but the people were very nice; the food was very good. It was very easy to get a reservation online and the ambiance was excellent.
Top notch from beginning to end. We could not have left more pleased....
Fantastic food, really enjoyed every bite.
I really like to go there with my friends.
It is one of the good Italian restaurant i’ve been to in a while.
I travel all over the country specially on the East Coast and Adolfo is one of the good place to eat at a reasonable price
Drinks are great they don’t cheap out on the booze
I’ve been there at least 10 times and it always good whatever I pick I’m always very please with my selection
I had seafood Pasta and my buddies add the veal marsala and the lobster risotto we loved it
Enjoyed an anniversary dinner. Wait staff attentive but not overbearing Wish my pasta side was larger, but the piece of veal parmesan more than enough to bring home for more pasta
I took 11 people to dinner here to celebrate a business success. Service was superb as was the meal, not one dissapointing this to say about this experience. Two thumbs up!!
Food was awesome but they were out of three items and limoncello.
We really enjoyed the food at Adolfo's. The bread was warm and fresh, and the meals lived up to the high standards my father-in-law, who has been married to a native Italian for 53 years, has. We had the broccoli rabe and sausage, the pasta Bolognese, and the pasta Vodka, and it was delicious. The vocalist was absolutely amazing, and sang beautifully the full time we were there - at least an hour and a half. The limoncello aperitif at the end of the meal was an unexpected pleasure! ONE COMPLAINT- and I hope the owners can see it - this was a classy restaurant and we were nicely dressed. The wait staff, including the hostess, were NOT - I means tank tops and yoga pants and tiny athletic gym shorts - with tattoos sticking out all over the place!! Usually the hostess at least is nicely dressed in a fine establishment. If you want to bring CLASS back to Springfield, please please please have your staff dress the part!
Awesome! Do not miss the bone-in veal parm!!! Great food and service!
I love this restaurant the food is absolutely wonderful the service is awesome and the ambience is perfect. This last night we were there they had live entertainment there and the singer sounded exactly like Frank Sinatra!
I am in Springfield frequently for business. Adolfo's is always a must for dinner. My favorite is the Veal Francais. Usually served with pasta on the side, I prefer to pay a little extra for escarole and beans.
Staff is exceptional. We were there on a Wednesday evening and the place was packed!
I usually try to get a seat in the bar area since I'm traveling by myself most times.
Consistent delicious food! Go there!
Adolfo's is our favorite local Italian restaurant! We frequent there as much as possible. The food is always delicious and always consistent.
We love Adolfo's. Tyler is a great waiter. He's waited on us before. Sorry Tyler, but we're going to come back!
We had a great time and the service was amazing. They are friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable with their food and their drinks. The owner, Mr. Bruno, is a wonderful man who has great pride in his Italian traditions. I look forward to eating there again very soon.
The meal was good, nothing exceptional except that the portions were very large. Had the calamari as a starter and it was OK, not great, the crust was bit over fried. Linguine with clam sauce was very good with an amazing amount of clams.
Staff was very accommodating and the food was excellent. I thought the ambience could have been slightly better (do we really need TVs in the dining area?) and our light fixture was broken, although the staff graciously brought us a candle to compensate for that. I would definitely return.
brought my folks and relatives visiting from Italy... Of course they would be very critical of any plates not authentic. Well they felt
like they were enjoying a meal back in their city. They raved about the broccoli rabe and sausage saying it tasted just like back home !! Excellent job to Victor and his staff !!
Fine food but the wait staff was overwhelmed. May be worth having more people bring out food versus just your waiter
Took my son to Adolfo's for his birthday. This was also a concluding dinner to a weeks vacation for four people. What a fantastic meal! Excellent Insalata with Lobster, Shrimp and Calamari followed by Wild Mushroom Risotto and Chicken Marsala. To add to this, Prosecco! Dessert was Tiramisu and Lemon Marscipone cake and Belgian Chocolate cake. Be here or be square! Nice ambiance, attentive wait staff, scrumptious food. Experience complete with Valet parking. Would definitely visit again.
Even thought we were eating late the staff never rushed us as the restaurant was switching over to a night club.
Been dining at Adolfo's since it opened the food and staff have been solid.
We went for a casual dinner with friends. Tried the small plates for appetizers. The bolanase was great, and the vodka sauce great. However all if our dinners were dry and no one ate theirs. Maybe they held them. So I must say disappointing.
Always enjoyable and our server, Johann, is the best!
This was our first time eating here. Great home made food and awesome service. Went on a Friday night before an event and everything went smoothly. Food was amazing, very home cooked taste. Side salad was huge and delicious. Definitely would drive up from CT just to eat there again.
