Birthday with daughter
Service was very good, attentive without being overbearing. The food was excellent, both dishes had just the right number of good-sized shrimp. We would definitely go there again.
The food was delicious and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our large party.
Wife had chicken Marsala and risotto. Risotto was very dry like it had been sitting for a while. The Marsala was a beef broth not Marsala wine.
I had chicken parm with pasta, chicken parm like any other chicken parm which was ok, the pasta was over cooked and they used pizza sauce for the topping not the same as regular tomato sauce.
Absolutely fantastic! Look forward to going back! Service is excellent, love the atmosphere, food is delicious!
Absolutely the Best restaurant experience I have ever had!. Great atmosphere, Excelent Food, Fabulous Selection and the Best Service you could ask for. Afolfo's is our families first choice for dinning out, and I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.
We had been to Adolfo's once previously, sat at the bar and liked it. Bartender very friendly. This time was a little different. Service not quite as good. Three of us got dirty martinis and we couldn't drink them. Tasted like the olives and juice were bad. They took them back and comped them though. Overall it was all okay - nothing special - might go back. Always give places 3 chances.
We have dinner here often before attending the Symphony. Food is always delicious and service is excellent. Dining room is very dimly lit, however, and can be difficult to read the menu. They used to have lighted menus, but not any longer. A small lamp or candle lantern on the table would brighten it up a bit.
What a great find!
We came down for a graduation and booked dinner here — how lucky we picked this place. Outstanding food and service. Probably the best chicken parm I have ever had. Desserts are great and service is A+.
Great place and we’ll be back next time we are in the area.
Absolutely delicious all around beautiful atmosphere
Good Italian food. Love the atmosphere. Special patio with large bar. Cesar salad was wonderful. My daughter's loved the scallop's appetizer. The fried motz was okay. Not enough marinara sauce and seemed like frozen triangles. Husband loved the seafood and linguini.
Always excellent food and ambiance.
Excellent service. The food was out of this world! A must dining experience for everyone!!
This was our 5th or 6th visit & remains a top choice for special event dining, despite the 150 mile round trip commute.
Only negatives from this last visit was the two-man live music was a bit loud in the dining room still, and the price of my favorite Adolfo entree (bone in veal parmigiana) had jumped up quite a lot ($38.00)
The chicken parmigiana was a very good substitute, but my heart was truly set on the veal
Fantastic, laid-back but attentive waitstaff added to the fun of our evening. GREAT food!
food is excellent and the service is very good
accommodated our special seating request
We had an amazing evening with our family to celebrate a birthday
7 of us stopped here on our way down I91South from Massachusetts to CT. LOVED it! Can't wait to stop here again... And would highly recommend to anyone in the Springfield area.
Waiter was awesome...an older gentleman...we never wanted for anything! Food was homemade delicious - very authentic. Owner greeted us at the end and invited us to his restaurant next door for dessert!!! Excellent!
It was better than we expected, food was fresh and delicious. It's a good touch to have valet parking since it can be difficult, however I think that should be complimentary for customers. Our waiter had a great personality. One of the best Italian dinners I've had
This was my first visit. The other party with us had been there many times. I was surprised to see the atmosphere so casual after hearing about it for so many years. I expected white linen table linens... why I'm not sure. The noise level rises quickly as more people enter and the musician plays his tunes, making it difficult to converse with guests. Lighting was dark and difficult to read the small print menu. Our waiter was great though - experienced and thoughtful. My shrimp cocktail was the best I've had in the area. the pasta fagoli was good as was the "gluten free" capalenni with broccoli and garlic. the Scrod Franchaise was a good portion of fish and tasty enough but for $30 with a side a asparagus instead of pasta was not creative or memorable except for the price paid. The finish of offering an after dinner lemincello was delightful. Would I return, I think I would consider on a night that there wasn't music to make the evening a struggle to converse with guests. Please understand the music was not bad - he did a nice job, it was just adding to the acoustical challenge to dining guests.
Our Waitress Marissa was great at explaining specials and dishes she has enjoyed. Great experience and definitely will go back.
We found this restaurant while driving through Springfield area. Open Table was a great reference - absolutely outstanding meal . . . . . Jody
This dinner was a return trip to Adolfo's, and it never disappoints. We tried both soups, and they were excellent. The pasta fagioli was the best I've ever had. The entrees were cooked to order and were inventive, fresh, and delicious. We didn't have dessert this time, but on previous occasions, they were clearly house- or locally-made.
Wonderful place for a birthday dinner. Staff was excellent as was the food. Bravo!
One of our favorite restaurants
Excellent food and our waitress Jessie was wonderful
The only suggestion is to lower music and Not have a live band ( restaurant too small for live music)
Slow service but food was good.
Our first time at Adolfo's, and it definitely won't be our last. So much character ... food was great ... service was friendly (thanks Tyler) and efficient. We loved this place!!!!
I am gluten free and they were so easy to accomodate me with any menu item. Food was outstanding~waiter was outstanding~ looks like Robert Kraft...lol
Adolfo's never fails. Had a wonderful dinner with relatives from out of town who raved about their meals. Thank you!
Very good Italian restaurant. Whenever I'm in Springfield, this is a must stop for me. Very nice authentic atmosphere, good food.
Never a bad meal at Adolfo's. Can't beat their pasta bolognese! And I love the half portion I can get.
you have to love a restaurant that does not disappoint. Ever since it has opened the quality has never waivered.
We have enjoyed Adolfo's for several years now. Don't miss the mushroom appetizer for the tale. Just enough for four. The Bolognese is excellent. I lovd the white beans, escarole, and sausage. Even though it's an appetizer, it's large enough to split in half for a main dish. I always take the other half home for lunch. Food is excellent, so one can't go wrong.
Never disappointed at Adolfo's. They had a keyboard player playing Xmas music, which was nice. Johann is an awesome waiter!
We had to wait for another guest to ask his server to seat us, after being ignored by at least 2 other staff members. Food was good, but service was lacking.
Food was delicious. It was very loud and hard to carry on a conversation.
Went early on a Saturday night with kids. Sat down at 6:30. Just ordered pasta. Food came 1:20 later. Food was good, but wait was bad.
The atmosphere and service were excellent. I had the scallops and shrimp, which were prepared well although I thought the dish could have benefited with an increase in herbs.
Adolfo’s is a very traditional Italian restaurant with fenomenal food and ambiance. Can’t be missed if you are in Springfield.
The service was a little slow, but the people were very nice; the food was very good. It was very easy to get a reservation online and the ambiance was excellent.
