Lunch: Friday: 11.30am - 3.00pm
Food was authentic Italian...try the fried mushroom appetizer. However, the service was terrible and the valet parking was a disaster.
Adolfo's hasn't changed the décor in a very long time. The noise level was very high and hard to hear other people within our party. There were a couple of very loud groups and there is nothing to absorb noise. The waitress was dressed in a dark hoodie, not what I would expect any staff to be wearing and she wasn't attentive. She was nice but hardly came to the table. Some of us had empty water glasses - some were filled and some were not, we were not asked if we wanted more drinks, but once, unless we "caught her running by" and asked for them. One person asked for a second drink and never received it. Bathroom had a couple of paper towel holders that were empty but did have a functioning hand dryer. Aesthetically, the place could use a facelift from the front entrance into the rest rooms. Loved the pictures and write ups of Al and the family in the back area.
Our favorite new local Italian restaurant...will be back for sure.
Noisy. Do t understand why all those TVs were on?
Rolls came to the table burnt. We asked for new ones. Food was good
A little pricey, but great, authentic Italian food. Don’t love TVs in the dining room and the music was a bit overpowering, but otherwise the ambiance was nice.
We Ame here for Thanksgiving dinner. They had a limited menu that included a turkey dinner but we opted for Italian. We started with an antipasto that was awesome. The shrimp and scallops over fettuccine was very good, as was the seafood bake. The service started off a little slow, but got much better.
Outstanding Thanksgiving meal with several excellent appetizer and entree options. They are very flexible with options for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. Service was great as well!
Servers should be more attentive to there customers. Was waiting for ck. Server was eating with a friend in bar area.
Went here on my Bachelor party. Everything was good. Nothing was over the top. The highlight of the night was a round of limoncelo that the bar tender sent our way. Myself and a few others got seafood type dishes and we found the seafood not to taste fresh. If I came back here I would not get any seafood.
Food and service were very good, however, restaurant is just too dark in the dining room. The party dining next to us commented on this as well. We (and several other diners of all ages) needed to use the light from our cell phones in order to read the menus and our checks. Please consider adding more lighting in the dining area or on the tables.
Good place, good wine list but the lighting is terrible. Way to dark, couldn't read the menu.
Food was excellent, but our service was very poor. Very disappointing, as we were there for a special occasion. Waited FOREVER for everything. Ordered cappuccino after the meal. It obviously sat in the kitchen for quite some time before being brought to me. The foamed milk was flat and the beverage was cold. Wanted to refuse it and send it back, but never saw the waitress. The whole experience was disappointing.
It was fine. First batch of calamari came out very overdone, but after some confusion on the side of the waiter, we were able to get a different order of calamari (even though we were fine with the first’s flavor). We were still charged for the first order though, probably because it was more expensive. The seafood in the entrees was cooked inconsistently, some pieces really well and others were over cooked. Would recommend asking for fish to be cooked less than usual.
The food is delicious and always consistent! We love going there for a dinner with the family or a romantic meal for my husband and I.
Always good. New outdoor dining area looks nice.
We frequent Adolfo's on a regular basis, never have a bad meal. Generally we celebrate most of our family events there, birthday, anniversary etc.
We never have a bad dinner at Adolfo's. You can count on them.
Always great food and great service. Servers are always "on"....very tentative as well. Will return for sure.
Waited an hour for a meal that was the worst I have ever had. The shrimp was so tough you couldn’t chew it. The bolognaise tasted like Ragu!
Just missing King Louis XIII.
Food was awesome.
Service was great.
We didn't get to order food or eat here. We had reservations and arrived 10 minutes early. Waited for a hostess to show up for almost 10 minutes and then waited to be seated another 30 minutes. This was after us questioning her what was taking so long a couple times. The hostess appeared to be very lost and unorganized. Once we were finally seated, we waited another 15 minutes for a waiter or waitress to come. We gave up waiting and left to another restaurant at this point. This was the worst service we had ever seen and would not recommend the restaurant.
We had reservations for 5:45 last night. We sat on the patio and it took us an hour and a half to see any food. There were only two servers working on the patio. We had to hunt our server down to get bread. We had to wolf our food down. Food was good but they definitely need to staff more servers on a Saturday night when there is a lot of activity downtown.
The food was delicious & the cocktails were amazingly generous! Our server Melissa was very personable & was right on top of our every need. I would definitely go again!
I went with an authentic Italian couple and they said their grandfather would be highly complimentary of the great Italian cuisine. Try the bone-in veal parmigiana... absolutely delicious.
The best restaurant in Springfield, the best Italian food, the best gluten free options. Wonderful staff, wine menu and so many food choices! No where else can you get gluten free fried calamari - you cannot tell the difference. They also make gluten free parmesan dishes and more! The Chicken Franchese is amazing!
Outstanding as always
As always I am very satisfied with everything in the restaurant! It has become one of my favorites!
Shabby decor with mediocre food. It’s hard to get beyond the poor ambience.
Went to Adolfo's to celebrate two birthdays. Great food. Great service. They have gluten free pasta which made me very happy! The outdoor patio is really nice - big bar and lots of tables.
Authentic Italian food. Wild mushroom appetizer fantastic. Bone in veal parmesan superb.
Our waiter Tyler was wonderful
The music is this restaurant is much too loud coupled with 2 large noisy parties it was not a relaxing experience
It’s too bad a room is not available for large parties (small restaurant that places large group on long table in center isle)
Not a good choice for my family member who is hearing impaired
Why do restaurants have music that is So Loud that normal conversation is impossible ???
Birthday with daughter
Service was very good, attentive without being overbearing. The food was excellent, both dishes had just the right number of good-sized shrimp. We would definitely go there again.
The food was delicious and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our large party.
Wife had chicken Marsala and risotto. Risotto was very dry like it had been sitting for a while. The Marsala was a beef broth not Marsala wine.
I had chicken parm with pasta, chicken parm like any other chicken parm which was ok, the pasta was over cooked and they used pizza sauce for the topping not the same as regular tomato sauce.
Absolutely fantastic! Look forward to going back! Service is excellent, love the atmosphere, food is delicious!
Absolutely the Best restaurant experience I have ever had!. Great atmosphere, Excelent Food, Fabulous Selection and the Best Service you could ask for. Afolfo's is our families first choice for dinning out, and I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.
We had been to Adolfo's once previously, sat at the bar and liked it. Bartender very friendly. This time was a little different. Service not quite as good. Three of us got dirty martinis and we couldn't drink them. Tasted like the olives and juice were bad. They took them back and comped them though. Overall it was all okay - nothing special - might go back. Always give places 3 chances.
We have dinner here often before attending the Symphony. Food is always delicious and service is excellent. Dining room is very dimly lit, however, and can be difficult to read the menu. They used to have lighted menus, but not any longer. A small lamp or candle lantern on the table would brighten it up a bit.
What a great find!
We came down for a graduation and booked dinner here — how lucky we picked this place. Outstanding food and service. Probably the best chicken parm I have ever had. Desserts are great and service is A+.
Great place and we’ll be back next time we are in the area.
