We had a wonderful dinner! Miguel was are amazing server! We ordered the Pina Martini’s (pineapple infused tequila , coconut rum cocktail so delicious)! The Guacamole was tasty. We ordered three entrees to share they were all so delicious: Chicken Enchiladas (we got the black mole sauce not red sauce) , pork tenderloins and Camorones (shrimp) entree. We had the churros for dessert! ❤️❤️Can’t wait to return!
Great Mexican food and friendly service. All you can ask for in a meal!
very good food & service. strange though that we had a reservation for 1:45 & they didn't open until 2:00.
Made a reservation, ended up waiting a few minutes longer but it was worth it! Service was great and they were VERY accommodating in trying to get us to our show at Second City. Get the Guacamole!
My husband and I had our first date at this address 42 years ago. Then it was the Azteca Grill. It was great going back to where it all began. The food and service could not have been better! Very high,y recommended!
We have been twice and just love Adobo. The food is excellent and plentiful. But the service is extraordinary. We took friends both times and were so pleased. We'll be back for sure.
Adobo Grill was very good! We loved the guacamole, drinks, short rib tacos, and carne asada. The service was a little slow but they were very busy, and they had additional wait staff coming by to refill chips and water in the meantime. Our order of Elote never came and our waiter gave us a free dessert to make up for it. The dessert was delicious and an unexpected surprise as we were more than full and didn't need the elote. Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and accomodating. I felt some of the prices were a little high but we will definitely be back because the food was fabulous!
Service was incredible. Our server was knowledgeable about food available. Great ambience and just a fun dinner,
It's very meh. The redeeming quality was the margaritas. Food was very meh.
Wonderful as always
The Server was excellent. The Kitchen was backed up and we had to rush to eat to make our theater tickets. We ordered in plenty of time and were in the restaurant for one hour and about 40 minutes. We had to take our desert to go.
Delicious food and great service. Great happy hour deals too!
Margarita & guacamole -hands down best ever!! One of our must visit restaurants when visiting Chicago.
Perfect Margaritas. Fun, friendly, non-intrusive service and delicious food. Tight, noisy room but not so loud that conversation was difficult. Can’t wait to go back!
Hard to beat Mexican cuisine in a super location with excellent service. I’m a 20 year customer and they never fail to impress.
Authentic and delicious Mexican food. Lively ambiance and friendly professional service. Thank you!
Absolutely loved it, definitely authentic Mexican food.
We had a great dinner and the service is impeccable.
Everything was absolutely delicious. Margaritas made with fresh limes instead of awful sour mix. Great attentive service
Great service and fresh guacamole was amazing.
We went to Adobo for our New Years Eve dinner. They were able to get us seated even though we were about a half hour early for our reservation. The guacamole and cocktails were excellent. The enchiladas and steak tacos were also incredible! I was very happy with the overall service and experience! Adobo is located very near the Second City comedy club and makes for a great dinner before a show there!
The service and location to Second City was great. The Carne Asada and beef tip tacos had zero flavor. The enchiladas were good and so were the fish tacos.
Guacamole and margaritas are good
Very accommodating to my gluten intolerance!
The food is great. We each had a mezcalita, which was quite tasty. the front area was pretty packed so hard to hear each other.
Good food and a fun Friday night spot
The Hostess was a bit nervous giving us a prime table that was open , we think k because we had a teenager and a 10yr old with us, asked us to wait on the side which was frustrating, but the owner/manager recognized us from our previous visits and said to seat us at the window table I had indicated was open and which we were often seated at.
After that, our service, food & value were excellent
Food was amazing... especially the table side guacamole.
Margaritas are classic, over ice, salted rim.
Waiter was a little frustrated after we finished eating... we wanted to finish our drinks but he hovered making us feel like we should leave. There wasn’t a line waiting, in fact tables were open. Not sure why such a rush?!?
Other than that, I’d recommend it.
We really enjoyed our dinner at Adobo Grill. We haven’t been there in a while since we are from out of town, but decided to try them again. Of course we loved the guacamole- who doesn’t? I had the pork in mole which was fabulous. All in all, very nice!
One of our favorite restaurants when we visit Chicago.
Wonderful restaurant with authentic food. We love this place.
Great service 👍 with superb food!
Adobo never disappoints. First time in their new location and everything was great: food, service, ambiance. Shared pork and chicken tacos: very fresh, very tasty. And very reasonable priced.
Convenient Oldtown alternative. The service and food was very good and atmosphere fun. I will be back.
My favorite Mexican restaurant in Chicago -- especially the guacamole and Margaritas! And great vegetarian and gluten free options!
This was my first and last time time going here. Food was overpriced and not good. Drinks were weak. Best thing was the $10 guac appetizer but nothing else for this party of 3. Our bill was $150 for 5 drinks, 2 dinners and 3 apps that left us without a buzz and still hungry. Go to Carbon instead for authentic Mexican food in Bridgeport on 26th.
First time at the new location. Food was delicious as always. It was a bit difficult to carry on a conversation.
The service was friendly and fast - the food was delicious.
I specifically asked if the entrée with chicken enchaladas could be served with extra dark mole sauce with chocolate. The waiter replied yes. When I got my order it was with a tomato sauce, no spice, pretty flavorless. I ate about half of it and then decided to complain about how tasteless it was. The waiter shrugged and said the darker sauce is better, I said that is what I had requested. He did nothing! I will not be back, nor will the 3 people who came with me.
Andy was great!
