Our servers were very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. Best of all we had a good time because we were celebrating 2 birthdays.
Wonderful service and great food! I am gluten free and the waiter made sure not to serve me the margarita or sangria with the Grand Gala(sp) since it is not gluten free. He also made sure I had the gluten free chips. Very attentive and helpful! The food was amazing! We will be back. Thanks!
Food and Staff were Amazing. Super Friendly and helpful. Food was Awesome.
Miguel was wonderful and so nice! Great place for a work dinner
They took very good care of us- great service, food and margaritas
Went for dinner after Van Gogh. Sat outside on patio. Guacamole and fresh margaritas were dElicious. All the entrees had good flavor.
Food is delicious. Little pricey, great margaritas
Always excellent. Fantastic margaritas & guac. The chicken enchiladas cannot be missed. Carne Asada & filet also are stand-outs.
Great food. Not your typical Mexican food. Everything on your plate was colorful and tasty.
Food was great
Delicious tableside Guac and Al pastor tacos. My partner got the scallop special and I wish I had too. Excellent food and kind, attentive service
We had a party of six people. The staff was excellent making sure that we were happy at all times, but not pushy. The food was delicious. We didn't have cocktails so I can't weigh in on that. People watching is also good here.
Always gracious. Treat us very well!
Good neighborhood place, menu is a bit limited but good quality ingredients and nice flavors.
Best Chilli Relleno ever.
We always love your housemade guacamole, pescado tacos and carne asada! Thank you so much!
Good service, food and drinks. Simple menu with limited choices. A bit pricey but decent portions.
The food was great, however not too many options on the menu.
Our waitress was polite and professional.
The sitting area outside was comfortable but off a busy street, which was affecting the noise level.
Since we moved to within a block of Adobo Grill's previous location in the 1600 block of N. Wells St. in 2004, we have eaten there a number of times. The food has always been well prepared in served in significant portions. We ate there early in 2020 after they had relocated to their present location on North Avenue. Again, really good food in generous portions. I ordered their carne asada on that visit and was particularly impressed with the dish.
We returned to Adobo Grill last evening for the first time since early 2020, expecting to see the same menu and enjoy the food as much as we did during our previous visits. Frankly, we came away disappointed. The carne asada that I ordered came in a smaller portion and was accompanied by a small serving of beans, some unidentifiable tomato-based sauce, and a small tortilla soaked in some other brown sauce. My wife's order of enchiladas came with only a thin sauce covering three enchiladas and without any further accompaniments. As I said above, we came away disappointed in comparison with our previous visits.
Small, tables close to each other, too noisy to have a conversation. Food (tacos with beef rib) good but not sure why they ruined it by putting shoestring potatoes on it. Service good.
Service, drinks, and food were great! A little pricy for tacos, but fun overall experience.
Authentic quality food and drink offerings.
Fun , outstanding service and great vibe. Food was top notch and margs authentic!
I was hoping for the kind of tasty Mexican (street) food I was used to getting at most moderately-priced Mexican restaurants, but I was rather disappointed. The carne asada was not very good and definitely not worth the price. The meat was poor quality (on the tough side) and not cooked medium as requested (parts were rare), and the ancho adobo accompaniment on the plate was dry and tasteless. The refried beans were the tastiest thing on the plate, but no rice was served at all. Tortillas had to be requested as well. The guacamole was fresh and delicious, but overpriced for an appetizer. The empanada appetizer was decent, but not great. The tuna ceviche was very fresh and tasty. I was surprised that the menu was so limited. There wasn't even flan on the dessert menu. Service was spotty at best, although the wait staff was very cordial. They did serve me a complimentary tres leches cake (with a candle) for dessert because it was my birthday, and the waiters sang me happy birthday. It was not an unenjoyable experience, but for the food I would not go back again. I think it would be okay for drinks and appetizers, but not for a full meal.
A great place ! the best margaritas & guacamole ever !!
Amazing margaritas! The food was above your normal Mexican restaurant.
Had a great experience at Adobo. Best margaritas we’ve had in a long time. Great guacamole. Food excellent. Highly recommend.
Ajobo was our go to for fast, quality Mexican food for years. Our recent visit, however, was disappointing. I'm going to chalk it up to covid and we'll return when things settle down but in the meantime the food was bland, uninteresting, super-processed looking and tasting. The restaurant was loud and the service just absent-minded. Our waiter made a good effort with an uninteresting product and chaotic environment. Adobo needs an overhaul.
Fun atmosphere and good food and drinks!
Very busy on an Art Fair day with rain. So a bit slow, but that's to be expected on the first fully-open weekend. Great margaritas and food as usual.
Excellent service! They were swamped and had been slammed all day when we got there. Service was a little slower but I did NOT hold it against them. Fantastic waitstaff, I hope that the owners and management acknowledge all they do. Our waiter was zipping all over the place that night! Food was delicious, drinks were great and the guac was also very good!
Yummy shrimp tacos and great margaritas—plenty of lime and not sweet. Yea🙃
great little outdoor patio! good food. good margaritas!
Service was fantastic and the food and drinks were amazing. Patio was beautiful. Highly recommend.
What a great dinner! Tequila and a margarita to start, my wife and I had guacamole and salsa with chips as an app. She loved her broiled salmon entree with fresh green beans and roasted potatoes. I opted for two starters as my entree: elite, Mexican corn on the cob, and pulled two pork quesadillas. Both were excellent. Prices were very good and our server Alphonso was terrific. There were so many different items on the menu, we know we’re coming back!
Great dinner at Adobo. Carne Asada was delicious.
Very friendly and funny waiter. Food was overall good but a bit overpriced
Appetizers are amazing. Entrees are ok. Menu has some vegetarian options. Service was slow. Aside from the abnormal amount of ants in the covered outdoor area, it was a decent experience. I would go back, but only sit inside. 🙂
