Famed for its house made tortillas and selection of artisan tequila; Adobe Grill is an authentic regional Mexican dining experience located at La Quinta Resort & Club in the Palm Springs area. Adobe Grill is decorated in a traditional Oaxacan motif, a double sided fireplace with a mosaic finish. Sliding patio doors allow the dining room and outdoor patio to become one. Let our master tequilero create a signature margarita from one of more than 100 tequilas. On weekends, we feature live music on the open air plaza in the heart of La Quinta Resort; come relax and take pleasure in the one of a kind surroundings.

Wait staff is great. Food was good. Everything is overpriced but that’s what you expect at a resort.

Excellent food, relatively high prices, but overall a great ambiance. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and responsive. Overall, a fantastic dining experience at a fantastic resort.

There is no denying the food here is terrific. If you like Mexican/Southwestern this is an excellent choice. When the LaQuinta resort is near capacity, though, as it was this President's Day weekend, the noise level at Adobe Grill is crazy-loud.

It was very crowded at our table due to number of resort guests. We had a reservation for six and had had it for two weeks outdoors.

Such a disappointment. While the cerviche was wonderful, the fajitas were not. I think it was the quality of the meat. There are better places for Mexican

Atmosphere was great, food was good, but service had one big flaw. The waiter came to the table for the order with a guacamole cart. While taking our orders, he mixed a fresh bowl of guacamole and automatically set it on the table. Later, when we got the bill, he had charged our party of four $18 for the guacamole even though we were not offered a choice, nor did we request the guacamole. Should beware of this questionable practice if you choose this restaurant.

This place is truly a gem in the desert. If you are looking for good basic Mexican food this is your spot. While the menus isn't diverse, the selections are very tasty. I had the fajita's and a jalapeño margarita. The steak was tender and well seasoned. The margarita had cucumber and jalapeño mixed which gave it a nice kick. Ambient overhead music was a bit loud for casual conversation. Overall an excellent experience.

We’ve enjoyed Adobe Grill as a “must visit” over the last several years. This visit on Valentines Day was a disappointment on all levels. Prices higher, but food and in particular service were not acceptable.

Took the wife out for Valentines dinner. Best margaritas in town. Had the seafood fajitas. They were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The service is always great here . Weather permitting make sure and sit outside, the view is great and you can catch the music on the patio below.

Really bad food, okay service. Tamale was all cornmeal. Enchiladas bad. Margaritas were fine. We ate indoor. Outdoor ambiance would have been better. Disappointed.

We are locals and come here regularly. Authentic Mexican food made fresh after you order (no commercial microwave ovens here). We took visiting relatives to dinner and enjoyed another fantastic dinner outside overlooking the beautifully landscaped grounds. The soft sounds of the live music being played from the fire pits nearby was a bonus. Thanks to our sever, Victor, who provided outstanding service!

Terrible food. Something is wrong with the Chef's taster as this food was just not good. Get a new Chef, Adobe Grill! You should be doing much better than our experience. Really bad tacos, an inedible shrimp cocktail. Passable fajitas. Very dry tamales. It makes us very sad that this restaurant can't get their act together. Who is managing this place?

Third time we are able to have a dinner "on the balcony rail" at Adobe Grill. Wonderful view of the mountains and the palm trees - absolutely stunning. Really good band and singers from the "Top of the Plaza" about 100 feet away - near enough to enjoy but far enough so we could converse. The food is always very good and the service is usually quite good. We were a little disappointed in the margaritas - we thought they "forgot" the tequila - but it made our drive home safer so that perhaps is a good thing. The take out containers for leftovers are really nice as is the specially sized paper bag to carry them --- everything is carefully thought out to make a very pleasant dining experience.

Hit and miss on the food. Fish in the tacos tasted fishy. The cauliflower meal was just a big hunk of cauliflower .

Requested outside table told none were available. We left after spending roughly 1.5 hrs for dinner- table open when we sat down was still available. I questioned hostess and after a few minutes she admitted the restaurant kept it open for vips! Sorry but that was unacceptable as far as I was concerned- won't be back

My leg of duck confit was bad. I love duck so it was a real disappointment. The sauce totally overpowered the taste of the duck. The worst part was when the manager came after we ate our meal to see how it was . I was honest with him and he apologized but he didn’t adjust our bill at all. I guess shame on me for not sending it back to the kitchen after I took my first bite.
