Sat outside with music. Good food and drinks. Excellent service
It was fun and the food was great! We sat on the patio which was fine since it was in the evening. When we were inside it was extremely loud and hard to hear the person I was with when trying to talk. We were in there only while being waited to be seated. The tacos were great!
Always love the Adobe Grill. Great food. Wonderful drinks. Sitting outside is perfect since the interior can get . a bit loud with tile floors and families.
Food is very good although the menu is limited for a Mexican restaurant. Service is friendly and just right. Margaritas are a bit expensive but good. Can be noisy due to all the families and kids
Our server, Victor, was wonderful - as was the guacamole he prepared tableside. He arranged a special vegan dish for me.
Fast casual but slow
The food was yummy! I had the chicken tinga tostaditas(appetizer). They were flavorful. My husband had some green enchiladas and he loved them. It was very loud and we sat near the kitchen so not the best location to sit. All in all good dining experience, but the waiters & busboys all looked a little rushed. The food seemed to be a bit expensive, Like the guacamole. I wanted to order but refused to pay 20 for it. The flan was delish. Probably would go there again if it wasn’t so hot and try outdoor seating.
Food was just ok. Not what I expected for Mexican food.
Highly recommend, hits all points... great food, great ambiance excellent service! We had the most amazing waitress Mariana helping us, she was beyond patient with our kids and a joy!
Highly recommend even in the off season!
Love the food
Food and service are very good, but is extremely over-priced.
We enjoyed our dinner very much and the service was excellent!
We enjoyed our dinner however the restaurant was so hot inside it took away our appetite. Loved the ambiance otherwise. Please keep the dining area cooler. It was way too uncomfortable.
We split the skirt steak fajitas. With some extra tortillas it’s just the right amount for two. When busy the main dining room is very loud, but the smaller back room is less so.
Dinner included my mother, boyfriend and best friends. The food was delicious-we love the sea bass and shrimp fajitas - we order it every time we come. Our waitress - Mariana was amazing!
The fajitas were awesome
View of mountains were spectacular
The setting and outdoor area are amazing however the food quality and taste don’t match the cost. Way too expensive for the quality of food.
Always have dinner at Adobe grill when we stay at La Quinta and it's always delicious! Our waitress this time was absolutely amazing. So sweet and personable and really helped you choose a dish if you were sure. We love sharing the Adobe combo and getting a quesadilla or the poke tostada. The sangria is always fresh! The price is definitely going to be higher than average but the ambience is great and it's worth it for a fun date night!
Have been here several times. Food is consistently good but seemed even better the last two times. Also Jeanette probably the best sever I have had there; she gave great suggestions and was very friendly and energetic.
Food was good but service was lacking.
We always look forward our first dinner at La Quinta-at the Adobe Grill. This time we were underwhelmed. On the positive side, the ambience is the same-festive and the staff is friendly. However, the service was intermittent and distracted. This was a birthday celebration which I indicated on the reservation however no one seemed to know it was a special occasion. To his credit, the server did respond when I ordered a dessert and mentioned the birthday. The starters were terrific and the presentation is great; the main dishes were very average with the exception of the fish tacos and the chicken tacos. Portions are generous, but I would rather have a smaller, more carefully prepared plate. Lastly, we sat inside, and the noise made it very difficult to hold a conversation with anyone beyond the person next to you. We will definitely come back and try again. We have had many good meals here before, and hopefully this was an anomaly.
Beautiful restaurant at iconic resort. Start with tastey margaritas on veranda overlooking gorgeous waterfalls and Mountain View’s while listening to live music. Follow with a cozy table on deck of restaurant with fresh table made guacamole and more fabulous margaritas! Enjoyed fish tacos, seafood w mole sauce and over the top bread pudding with choc Mexican ice cream. Outstanding service provided by Victor Cortes truly made the evening special. A definite “must do” whenever we come to La Quinta.
The service was sooo slow! We weren’t given waters until 15 minutes after we sat down. It’s hot in Palm Springs! It took ages for our waitress to come and that remained the theme of the night. When she did remember to check in she spoke to us at max volume- “HOW IS YOUR FOOD?!!!”. It was honestly a joke. The restaurant wasn’t loud...and she was literally projecting to the max. The food itself was mediocre at best and the margaritas were not up to par and their idea of “muddled” cucumbers in one we ordered are cut up chunks.
Services was good. The inside room is very loud but the corner was a bit quieter. My enchiladas Verdes were excellent. Margaritas are extra tasty.
It was a quiet evening and the food took long come out and my drink I had to send back it wasn’t what I order
Food was very good but was so disappointed in the diminished presentation of making the guacamole at the table. It used to be such a fun show. The Chile relleno best anywhere. Wish you had a taco salad
I have loved Adobe Grill for some time now. Great place, great food, great drinks & great service. My only complaint is that I always eat too much!
The waitress was fine - but the kitchen couldn't do their job. One entree came out about 45 min after we ordered, but the other 2 entrees didn't come for another 15-20 min. Also, corkage was $30 /bottle. Are you kidding me??? RUDE! Food was mediocre - enchiladas verdes (with chicken) were lukewarm at best...pretty disappointing. Very expensive Mexican food (but you're captive on the resort) - pick another place...
We made our reservation approximately 3 weeks before the date. It was a table for 8 people at 9:00 p.m. We arrived around 8:20 p.m. and let the hostess know we were there and would be in the outdoor lounge area. We were not seated at our table until 9:30 p.m., and that was after checking with the hostess, who was very unfriendly. The table configuration was two tables pushed together, one was square and the other was round, making it awkward for our party of 8. The food was good but the service was very slow.
The food was great! I loved the pasole and the tamale. About the best that I have had.
My wife had the casadilla that she really liked.
We had reservations and they sat us in about 5 mins while the wait was about 45 mins. Very efficient.
The staff was very pleasant and friendly.
The noise lever was very high. It was probably partially due to the fact that it was Saturday night and it was Restaurant Week.
We will be back! Too bad there as no room outside where we could have heard the music.
It was very busy but service was great!! Food came really fast and was so good!! Best Mexican restaurant in the area!
Food was fabulous. Our server, Eva, was great. Food slow to come out, but we weren't in a hurry.
Loud------place was packed.
I planned birthday celebration 2 months in advance. The restaurant didn't seem to know we were celebrating my husbands birthday. But, I knew who was having a birthday that night; all the servers were happy, singing and clapping around the birthday table celebration. My friend ask our server to bring a birthday treat and the four of us & one server sang.
The restaurant was not packed but they had large groups dining. We were neglected due to the servers being overwhelmed meeting their needs. I blame management not our server. They needed dedicated servers for the large groups and let the servers in our area take care of us. Waiting, waiting just to put in drink orders. Waiting, waiting just for chips&salsa. Waiting, waiting to put in our orders. Waiting, waiting for drink refills. Waiting, waiting to tell the server my salad was not what I thought it was going to be. Never mind I waited so long I just wanted to leave the noise! The rest of my party loved their fajitas! Waiting, waiting they gave up wanting to have more tortillas for their fajitas. Waiting, waiting for the check. I was just let down for all my planning to have this experience.
It was good
My daughter came to visit so, of course, we walked over to The Adobe Grill. Our dinner was excellent and, as always, service was beyond perfection.
We had a great time as usual! This time the service was a little slower so I only gave 4 stars, I'm not sure what happened but it took a long time to get to order our food and then a long time for it to arrive (it must have been a little too busy!). Anyway, these guys are normally AMAZING and the food was still great - we will be back soon and can't wait.
I have writing bad review but this was an expensive yet bad tasting meal from start to finish. The ambiance was amazing with live music. Every single thing we ordered tasted bad and/or was a little off. The couple's to our left and right are also complaining about the taste of their meals. Skinny margarita was basically like juice and tequila. Red sangria tasted like simple syrup. Ceviche did not look or taste like ceviche and didn't have flavor. Guacamole appetizer had no flavor, I had to add salad and lime myself to make it taste like something. My chicken fajitas looked and tasted like it started with a frozen pre-grilled chicken breast that they defrosted, threw on a skillet and doused in salsa, the onion and bell pepper were the only saving grace. The side of beans and rice also didn't taste good. My husband, who will eat anything, didn't like his steak or pork taco and agreed the rice and beans were bad. They do not have a good wine by the glass list. I ordered the red from Mexico, figuring I was at a nice resort- they can't mess up wine, and that was undrinkable. The free chips and salsa was honestly the only thing that tasted good.
Fresh mango margaritas and fajitas were very good
