They need more waitstaff on a Friday night. We waited at least 8 minutes before the server came to our table. I realize he had a ton of tables (pretty much our whole section) but I want to enjoy my food experience as well.
We almost walked out but it smelled so good we decided to stay. Plus side - the food was delicious!
Been coming for over a year. The good here is some of the best Indian you can find. However in the last few months the service has taken a turn to the downside with things being forgotten, not coming out in the right order, and unfortunately this time the food did not come out as hot as it usually does but instead to me it was slightly hotter than room temperature. I hope the service is addressed, as we have decided to take a break for a little while and hope the next time we come back things have been turned around.
My wife and I love this place! The food is fresh and flavorful. The staff is nice and knowledgeable. The drinks are good. I miss Haywards 5000 but this is still our favor spot! Try the Tawa Shrimp, Pepper chicken, or, if you are really hungry, the Platter!
Food was prepared so well. Delicious. Valentines dinner so very crowded but still no waiting for our reservation
Hopefully this was an off night for Aditi. We have gone before and have been very happy with both the food and the service. The food was still good, although not as good as previous visits. But the service was terrible. We asked two different employees about three times for menus. We probably were sitting at least 15 minutes before we got them and at least 30 minutes before our waiter took our order. Service staff was generally inattentive, too busy to check on us. If staff can not handle a full restaurant, either the owners need to train them better or hire more people.
Fantastic food and even better service. This is one of my favorite restaurants!
Stopped after a movie date, the service was excellent as always and the food, well prepared in a timely manner . We ordered everything medium heat and it was certainly spicy enough for us. We had lamb and several vegetarian dishes and enjoyed them all. Also, the Samosas were perfect as an appetizer.
My introduction to indian food was ADITI over a year ago with my partner. Although I have tried other restaurants ADITI is my go to place.
Server was Awesome. I think his name was Jerwin.. We've had him before and he's GREAT.
Delicious authentic Indian food. Waiter was very helpful in ordering.
Aditi is a friendly spot with good Indian food. The service was a times a bit slow because the place was packed, but the wait staff were clearly doing their best and uniformly good spirited. The menu has a wide variety of options and everything we had tasted very good.
Really goid food, out-of-the ordinary dishes, friendly staff.
We asked if an appetizer we wanted could be changed from 2 to 3 pieces and they were able to accommodate us. They will adjust the spiciness of any dish to your liking. They have more vegetarian options than most restaurants. Portions were enough that we all took some home. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. Highly recommend.
Always a great experience at this restaurant. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Never had a bad meal here. Good value.
Very good food and great service at a fair price! All good!
Always reliable -- two thumbs up!
Very good service. Helpful and recommended items to order. Food was good; not great. Large quantities. Quiet.
Sunday brunch was excellent as always. Very friendly to our kids.
So delicious! We have been coming here for years and never had a meal that wasn't amazing!
A great place for damn near authentic Indian cuisine in Alexandria, VA. The lunch buffett is great and the lamb tikka is off the chain. The servers are from the region and take pride in the food and drinks served. Modestly priced and a great environment. Try it, you will not be disappointed.
Excellent service, delicious food!
Great experience overall. The food was good, the staff professional. It was our first time there and we will certainly go back again.
Excellent food. The lime calamari appetizer was outstanding. The lamb was delicious but a tad tough. I asked for spicy lentils and they gave it as requested. Loved the methi dessert eampler! What a great idea. Also Aditi is conveniently located across from Kingstowne Movie Theatre. Highly recommended.
Excellent as always. We showed up way early for our reservation and only had a wait a couple of minutes.
Excellent food, attentive and good wait staff, and good location
Meeting friends for dinner and everything was delicious. Service seemed a bit rushed but we're slow, take your time, diners and a bit out of the norm. As soon as we stated so the waited adapted to our style, hence the five star rating. A great neighborhood gem.
Awesome as always
Always great food and great service!
Great food and friendly staff, one of our favorite places.
Food and service were outstanding as usual. The staff are kid friendly. The Sunday buffet is great and lets us try new things. We always look forward to eating here.
Great meal, great service. Been coming here for 6 years, never a bad meal. Helpful staff point out new options and ideas---always spot on.
We've eaten at Aditi several times and always enjoy it. Our favorite dish is the butter chicken.
Excellent Indian food from a number of different regions in a very pleasant atmosphere.
It was our first time here, the service was great and the food was so flavorful and delicious! We will definitely be back!
Customer service was outstanding! The waiter was superb. The food was very delicious. I will definitely be dining here again.
Totally unexpected quality experience for a shopping center restaurant. All we knew of Indian food was curry- so this was a genuine treat. We got different platters. The server helped us through the entire meal showing us the best way to experience each dish. Absolutely the best way to try so many different flavors. and a muddled curry leaf-- probably the most exotic martini that I've ever had. Gorgeous inside. Excellent!
Food choices for both vegetarians and carnivores very good; it's where locals that want great Indian food consistently go...because the kitchen does it right
25MAR2017 was my first time dining at this restaurant and I really liked it. The service was greats. The waiters were friendly and constantly checked to see I needed anything. The food came pretty fast and it was really good. I can't remember the name of the dish I ordered by it was a spicy curry dish. It was definitely a bit more spicey than expected but still really good. The samosa were really good as well. The tables are small so this isn't really a good place to take a group of people but if this is just a normal date, its good to go. I give it a 4 or of 5.
Food was very good. The menu had Indian dishes from the different regions which was a nice change from a lot of Indian restaurants that is just "curry" Our waiter was attentive and friendly. The portions are large so we could have done without appetizers but that meant we had take away for lunch the next day. This is a good neighborhood gem. The tables are a bit small even for two people by the time you put plates and two dishes and bread it is awkward and hard to eat food comfortably. That is my only criticism.
Went for a business lunch and really enjoyed the food. They have a wide variety and the prices are decent for Indian food. A co-worker did the lunch buffet and really enjoyed being able to try all different things for $11. I would recommend!
