Always excellent in every respect. Many years of high quality and great value. Hats off to the Adelmos.
Perfect evening with friends
The food was amazing and the restaurant is beautifully decorated for the holidays. This was a perfect warm cozy spot for an anniversary dinner!
Perfect locale for a Thursday or Friday business lunch. Although there was a party of 18 guests in the main dining area, my older guests and I had no issues hearing each other.
As always, every aspect of the meal was carefully choreographed and attended. One could have measured the perfection of the place settings and the 3 places would not have differed by a millimeter. The timing of the cocktails and courses was not rushed, nor did it lag. Each of us tried a new dish and from the Shrimp Linguine special to Sole to the Lobster Ravioli with Asparagus we were all pleased with everything. The wine glasses were freshened with alacrity and our requests for little things like bread and butter were immediately fulfilled.
Lauren, the up-and-coming, second generation of this establishment has stepped into a larger role and shows great promise in following her father’s esteemed footsteps. With so much wonderful training and pedigree between their waitstaff, the Chef and front of the house here, I am always surprised that I can get a table! The reason is the parking, if not for that - this gem, recently relocated to Inwood Village would be the talk of the town. My suggestion, take an Uber, the dining experience well justifies it!
Usually the bread pudding is my go-to dessert. This visit my guest talked me into the Creme Brûlée, while it was the right portion for one, it was easily was shared by three of us with a side of their amazing truffles. Jani promised us the perfect espresso and he delivered. The whole experience rivaled any of the finest dining in Dallas or Fort Worth.
Best veal chop ever
Outstanding family owned restaurant--has always been over the top delicious !
We have taken many couples there for the first time and it always impresses!
Service is very attentive, food is ALWAYS delicious! Go and you will see what I mean!
Clearly one of Dallas' finest dining experiences!! Everything is extremely professional!!
For decades Adelmos has been terrific. No signs of slowing down. Fabulous atmosphere. Kind and attentive service. Great food. Highly recommend.
Great food; good service; lively but quiet enough fro normal conversation. A definite addition to our regular restaurant dining list!
Food was very good and authentic Italian dishes with attentive service. I will be back again.
It’s time for the bugler to blow Taps for this faded star. There was nothing noteworthy about any aspect of our dinners...except for uniformly poor execution. Seriously poor.
My husband and I have been coming here for years. We always say we fell in love there! We just celebrated our 8 year anniversary at Aldelmo's.
We hadn’t been to Adelmos in awhile. We went this past weekend and the food was very good. I had lobster ravioli asparagus and marinara, it was delicious.
My first time at Adelmo's, on the advice of my partner, who'd been there before.
Made reservations, arrived and were greeted and promptly seated. Noted an extremely wrinkled tablecloth, commented about it and the host actually said "it costs money to iron those, so the owners don't want to spend it"....despite the fact that no other table had such a wrinkled tablecloth...
Otherwise, the food and wine was outstanding, the service just right, the ambiance was amazingly intimate for a large restaurant (which is divided up into several rooms, so the noise level is reasonably quiet and the feel is an intimate one).
We thought it was a tiny bit expensive for what it offers and particularly noted that when the waiter listed the night's specials, he didn't note anything about the prices...a shortcoming.
Otherwise, we'll go back (hoping for an ironed tablecloth...at this level, this shouldn't even be a mention!!).
We LOVe Adelmo’s!! The food and service are consistently outstanding! Close, convenient and DELICIOUS!
Superb food, service, and atmosphere! An excellent choice if you desire authentic Italian cuisine by candlelight and soft music
Adelmo's is one of Dallas' elite dining experiences!! The atmosphere, food, service, management, and ownership are all "Top of the Line" professional and once experienced is sure to be repeated.
Delicious food, excellent service, quite for conversation, but why does it have to be so expensive? I would given a 5 star if the value was more in line.
Waiter spilled mussel liquid on me and all over table. They should have moved us to another table but just put napkins on top of smelly tablecloth
Also one person’s entree was cold. Were very nice about taking back to warm up. Returned her entree after we had finished our dinner. Nearly 25 minutes later
Not many people in attendance so that was not the problem.
All around very nice. Food, environment, ambiance all top notch
Restaurant week menu was wonderful - we had the Risotto and Shrimp and the Lobster Ravioli with Scallops. Both were superb. Desserts, too, were great. Appetizers were good, but much surpassed by the rest of the meal.
It was okay. I wouldn’t spend the money again for that experience. I’ve had a lot of nice experiences and great food. This was just okay. They have a lot of wonderful reviews. Maybe just an off night.
Great service, food options, atmosphere and everything else
Dinner was delicious. Service was excellent. My only complaint is we could barely hear each other across the table.
Restaurant week allowed us to explore and get out of our usual places and wife and I were pleasantly surprised to find excellent wine and lobster ravioli that we will have to come back for. It was a little too loud the night we went there were some large groups there, but overall a very nice place to enjoy some authentic Italian food. I will recommend this place to others. I've eaten many meals in Italy that were no where near as good.
Food was delicious warm and inviting ambiance
The food and service were extraordinary. You MUST have the gnocchi! It was perfect! My family went for restaurant week, but we ordered from the main menu as well. It was a great find, and we would definitely come back for date night.
Service slow and hard to get. Dining room way too hot. Got to set and look at dirty empty tables half the evening. Food too heavy
How wonderful! We were sorry for Adelmo to leave the previous location but the new one is SO much better, more ambient, comfortable...but with the same amazing food and wine....and of course wonderful Adelmo & family there to greet!
Everything was wonderful. Adelno’s is always outstanding.
The lobster bisque was rich and luscious with a large piece of lobster. Definite winner. The sole was bland and the sauce disappointed. Desert was adequate. Wines by the glass very limited. Service was good.
This is a very good restraint in uptown. Owner met us and was very nice and down to earth. We had the soul and veal Marsala.
This was our first visit to Adelmo’s since their move to Inwood Village. We live in Tulsa but visit Dallas every few months. We were blown away by the incredibly delicious food! Wow! The new venue is beautiful and our waitress was very gracious. However, the Lobster Ravioli and the Eggplant Parmesan were the stars of the night. I’m not sure I’ve ever tasted better. My husband was also a big fan of the Lobster Bisque. I’m already checking my calendar to make another reservation. I can’t wait to go back! Very well done, Adelmo!
We got together with friends at Adelmo’s recently, and had an outstanding time. The restaurant was quiet, so we could hear ourselves. Adelmo visited with us briefly and brought some extra gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce so all could try. The wine choice was good. The pork chop outstanding. No dessert - we were too satisfied.
Adelmo's does a fantastic job!! They are extremely professional!!
Very disappointed. Food mediocre, service just acceptable. Table too small for 6 people. Tables too close and noisy. Has declined from previous visit. Expensive!
Very family atmosphere. Excellent service. Will visit this restaurant again and recommend to my family and friends
This was our first time at Adelmo’s. The food was delicious and our waiter very attentive. We will definitely be returning.
A friend and I met at Adelmo's for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Everything about the evening was extremely pleasant from being greeted at the door by Adelmo himself, to the ambiance, the attentive but unobtrusive service to the (recorded) piano music playing in the background.
Everything we ordered was prepared to perfection. The Fritto Misto platter of calamari, octopus, shrimp and white fish was crisply fried, with no trace of oil, and served with aioli and marinara sauces. My Caesar salad was lemony and cold with shredded Parmesan, and the Petrale sole I ordered was an ample-sized filet sauteed in a lemon butter sauce with capers. Both were perfect! My friend had the appetizer of sauteed scallops for her entree and was as pleased with it and her house salad as I was with my meal.
