Good service, nice variety, comfortable spacing between tables, friendly atmosphere.
I went to Adelmo's regularly with my parents when I was younger and this was my first time at the new location having had some "off" experiences at the old location around the time just before they moved. I was a little nervous about my experience when we first sat down because the server wouldn't let me review the wine list in peace. Right before I said something to make him go away and give me some time, he left and from that moment forward the experience was literally perfect. All of his suggestions were spot-on. The food was wonderful, the wine was stored at the proper temperature and the mixed cocktails were fantastic. Could not have been more thrilled at the wonderful experience.
The food is just spectacular!
Bolognese sauce is very very good. My wife had it on Tagliatelle and mine was in the lasagna. We made a pact to become regulars.
It was an amazing dinner date experience.
Boring food. Basic Italian cooking but done with little imagination Food quality is good and it is cooked well.
Best Italian cuisine north of Genoa! Ran and Jan
First time into the new location and was very pleased to see Adelmo successfully moved from my all-time fav reasturant he had over on Knox Henderson area. Great to see him again too!!
Staff is amazing and extremely knowledgeable the...Food is beyond amazing
Authentic italian with old world feel - the wait staff is very knowledgeable and attentive - good wine list - bar available for pre-dining and wait area.
We always enjoy Adelmo’s! Delicious menu and impeccable service! Family owned!
Adelmo’s has some of the best fish dishes in Dallas. Always really fresh. Great sauces.
Adelmo is the king of rock and roll food! He never ceases to amaze the Dallas masses!!!
Adelmo and his wife always make it a point to welcome you to their restaurant.
Valentine's Dinner date with my husband. Waiter was wonderful and able to make everything gluten free. Very romantic and cozy atmosphere. Will come back for another special date night in the future.
To start when we arrived a group of 6 we were seated in a very small table, a table for 4 turned side ways, terrible, the restaurant was not full, no need to have done that, I asked the waiter and he said he had a larger table and was told do reduce
Not many choices for vegetarians and most appetizers were ok, they served it on large plates that did not fit in our little table
Main course was terrible, I had eggplant parmigiana and a side of pasta, the pasta was overcooked, the parmigiana was cold and they would not leave grated cheese on the table
Always delightful. Service is attentive and helpful. Food is good to outstanding depending on what you order. Expect to take your time here, but is a very experience.
This was a very nice spot to have a quiet lunch with a close friend. It would be good for business lunch too. The food was surprisingly good and the service was courteous.
Love Adelmo’s. Seafood dishes are always fresh and cooked perfectly. The lamb is superb. Great service. Great drinks and wine.
We celebrated our 52nd anniversary. Food, service - everything was wonderful. Looking forward to our next visit to Adelmo’s. Thank you.
Adelmo has been a wonderful addition to the Dallas dining scene for many years. His new space is fantastic and the food is as good as ever.
Lovely and delicious dinner here for our anniversary. Service was attentive without being obtrusive. We chose not to have wine and it seemed to visibly surprise our servers. It should not be an issue. Other than this - perfectly enjoyable meal and dining experience.
Outstanding. Great place for a great dinner.
Excellent food & service
We just love the warm atmosphere and tasty food and wine. Wonderful and cozy place for a date or small group of friends. Vibrant atmosphere but still quiet enough to have a conversation.
The service was very lacking. Our waiter was past his prime and unfortunately no longer able to do a good job. It is definitely time for him to retire. One (out of three) meals was good. Two were mediocre, at best. This was a very disappointing evening. Sad to see this great restaurant slide to ordinary. I would not recommend it to anyone ... there are too many great restaurants in Dallas that I would choose long before returning to Adelmo's.
This was our first visit to the new location, and it was terrific. The service was excellent. We were seated by Adelmo himself and given a fabulous table. Our food, from appetizer to salad to entree, was terrific. We will definitely return and recommend to others.
Adelmo's continues to be one of the best dining experiences in Dallas. Excellent cuisine, complemented with service that is not overly attentive, and a bottle of Amarone that was superb.
We were on an overnight trip to Dallas and wanted a good modest sized restaurant to enjoy some Italian cuisine. We found Adelmo's on the Open Table app on our phone and it looked interesting. What a surprise! We got an early reservation, were greeted immediately, seated and had a great waiter. My wife ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana, I ordered the Veal Marsala and wow, they were both excellent. Our waiter suggested wine pairings from their by the glass menu as we didn't feel like drinking an entire bottle and they matched perfectly.
There was a table close to us that had a family, 3 adults and 2 children, one person was exceptionally loud, not the kids. Our waiter sensed our frustration and comped us a fabulous dessert. I would definitely go back.
Everyone’s dinner was delicious, especially the lasagna! None of our group had ever been but we’ve already booked to come back for a special occasion. Loved the atmosphere.
As always, Adelmo's provides a wonderful meal in a business casual environment. It is truly a neighborhood jewel.
Loved the place except being seated next to a large and very loud party,. They offered to move us but were nearly through with our meal
Our waiter was attentive but not hovering. The food was classic Italian and everything I wanted and expected. Adelmo’s is a family operation and a Dallas mainstay. Loved every bit of it!
Great end of holiday season family dinner.
We went for NYE , the meal was excellent . Best Italian food in Dallas for far . We just started spending a lot of time in Dallas . To qualify my judgment, I grew up in NYC as Italian - American, worked restaurants for 20 + years , and we are in Italy several times a year. Their bolognese is as good as most we have had in Bologna .
Adelmo's is a great place for some of the best Italian food in the Dallas area!
The atmosphere was very nice and the family was so good to us. Our waiter Sam was perfect. He was a lot of fun as well. The food and wine were superb. One of our favorite places in Dallas for over 25 years!
Adelmo’s is our favorite restaurant. The food is always delicious and the family is very warm. We’ve been going to Adelmo’s for at least 20 years. Love it there!
Food was okay but not great. It did not seem freshly cooked and was not very hot. Menu selections are somewhat limited if you do not want veal or fish. Service seemed very rushed, waiter was not rude but definitely not friendly, except for interrupting our conversation every 5 minutes to see if we needed anything. Overall a fair experience but nothing exceptional. I felt like this was a place that catered to a certain crowd, and we obviously were not it.
Adelmo’s was good. Our table had a variety of dishes and everyone enjoyed their entree.
The calamari was excellent for appetizer. The marinara sauce was delicious.
Christmas Eve dinner was very good. It was a full house but we were seated right away. Our waiter very attentive particularly to our elderly relative, which was helpful. Food was very good but it took such a long time to get it. Waiter apologized several times. The bathrooms were out of order xo that same elderly relative had to trek outside in the freezing weather to visit the bathroom next door st Rise. That was frustrating but overall it was a nice visit to Adelmos.
