Waiter spilled mussel liquid on me and all over table. They should have moved us to another table but just put napkins on top of smelly tablecloth
Also one person’s entree was cold. Were very nice about taking back to warm up. Returned her entree after we had finished our dinner. Nearly 25 minutes later
Not many people in attendance so that was not the problem.
All around very nice. Food, environment, ambiance all top notch
Restaurant week menu was wonderful - we had the Risotto and Shrimp and the Lobster Ravioli with Scallops. Both were superb. Desserts, too, were great. Appetizers were good, but much surpassed by the rest of the meal.
It was okay. I wouldn’t spend the money again for that experience. I’ve had a lot of nice experiences and great food. This was just okay. They have a lot of wonderful reviews. Maybe just an off night.
Great service, food options, atmosphere and everything else
Dinner was delicious. Service was excellent. My only complaint is we could barely hear each other across the table.
Restaurant week allowed us to explore and get out of our usual places and wife and I were pleasantly surprised to find excellent wine and lobster ravioli that we will have to come back for. It was a little too loud the night we went there were some large groups there, but overall a very nice place to enjoy some authentic Italian food. I will recommend this place to others. I've eaten many meals in Italy that were no where near as good.
Food was delicious warm and inviting ambiance
The food and service were extraordinary. You MUST have the gnocchi! It was perfect! My family went for restaurant week, but we ordered from the main menu as well. It was a great find, and we would definitely come back for date night.
Service slow and hard to get. Dining room way too hot. Got to set and look at dirty empty tables half the evening. Food too heavy
How wonderful! We were sorry for Adelmo to leave the previous location but the new one is SO much better, more ambient, comfortable...but with the same amazing food and wine....and of course wonderful Adelmo & family there to greet!
Everything was wonderful. Adelno’s is always outstanding.
The lobster bisque was rich and luscious with a large piece of lobster. Definite winner. The sole was bland and the sauce disappointed. Desert was adequate. Wines by the glass very limited. Service was good.
This is a very good restraint in uptown. Owner met us and was very nice and down to earth. We had the soul and veal Marsala.
This was our first visit to Adelmo’s since their move to Inwood Village. We live in Tulsa but visit Dallas every few months. We were blown away by the incredibly delicious food! Wow! The new venue is beautiful and our waitress was very gracious. However, the Lobster Ravioli and the Eggplant Parmesan were the stars of the night. I’m not sure I’ve ever tasted better. My husband was also a big fan of the Lobster Bisque. I’m already checking my calendar to make another reservation. I can’t wait to go back! Very well done, Adelmo!
We got together with friends at Adelmo’s recently, and had an outstanding time. The restaurant was quiet, so we could hear ourselves. Adelmo visited with us briefly and brought some extra gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce so all could try. The wine choice was good. The pork chop outstanding. No dessert - we were too satisfied.
Adelmo's does a fantastic job!! They are extremely professional!!
Very disappointed. Food mediocre, service just acceptable. Table too small for 6 people. Tables too close and noisy. Has declined from previous visit. Expensive!
Very family atmosphere. Excellent service. Will visit this restaurant again and recommend to my family and friends
This was our first time at Adelmo’s. The food was delicious and our waiter very attentive. We will definitely be returning.
A friend and I met at Adelmo's for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Everything about the evening was extremely pleasant from being greeted at the door by Adelmo himself, to the ambiance, the attentive but unobtrusive service to the (recorded) piano music playing in the background.
Everything we ordered was prepared to perfection. The Fritto Misto platter of calamari, octopus, shrimp and white fish was crisply fried, with no trace of oil, and served with aioli and marinara sauces. My Caesar salad was lemony and cold with shredded Parmesan, and the Petrale sole I ordered was an ample-sized filet sauteed in a lemon butter sauce with capers. Both were perfect! My friend had the appetizer of sauteed scallops for her entree and was as pleased with it and her house salad as I was with my meal.
As always, food and service was incredible. Good atmosphere.
The food was not good on either myself or my partners' meal. Very disappointing. Tables too close to each other so very loud. Waiter's accent was challenging and he was rushing us to order but slow to give attention after that occurred. He pushed to order the prime rib which was nothing but a grilled steak. Very bad! Will not ever go back. Such a waste of $. Lasagna was pitiful. Ugh.
One person in our party had a birthday that day, but it was never acknowledged by the waiter even though we mentioned it when booking the reservation. A few things were outstanding, however, some things just seemed average. Also, we all felt the prices were too high once we learned the price for each item when we got the check. All of us said we probably would not be back again.
This family-owned restaurant relocated to Inwood Village and is picking up a nice cross-section of clientele compared to those from the old location.
The service by Jeffrey both times I have been here in the last two months has been exceptional along with the perfect table as requested. Attention from both Adwlmo and his daughter Lauren are meeting new faces and expanding their fan base. Our food was outstanding, cocktails and wine were timely and just as ordered. Portions are large but save room for the bread pudding.
Better than the old place
First time at this restaurant. The food was very good and the portions were on the larger size. Our only issue was that we felt rushed to order even though the restaurant was not very full when we arrived.
Worth another visit hoping the feeling of being rushed was a one time event.
Fantastic meal. The best of everything from Jimmys sausage to to Colavia Oliver Oil. Every detail was good.
Amazing food, Sammy is the best!
So much more than just a "taste of Italy"!
Our first time at this restaurant and was not disappointed. The veal piccata was tender and cooked perfectly. The sole was delicious (we actually prefer to be cooked slightly more but was done). The entrees come with dinner salad. We will be going back.
Very authentic! Lobster ravioli was outstanding! Very attentive staff.
We had such a nice time - would recommend to anyone!
A wonderful experience with great food. Loved the decor and service was exceptional.
We have been going to Adelmo's for many, many years, and have never been disappointed. Adelmo and his family are wonderful hosts. The food is authentic, prepared beautifully and always outstanding. It's the kind of place where we feel right at home. Love it!
The service was excellent and the food was delicious and well executed. The wine list was excellent with detailed information on blends, which we enjoy. Our waitress Samantha was exceptional, very attentive and professional. I will definitely go again.
Service is always exceptional and the food, delicious! This is one of my very favorite restaurants !
Adelmo continues to maintain the excellence that has endured for decades. Treat yourself to the 2011 Paverno Amarone and smile.
If you cannot get to a Ristorante in Rome......leave your passport at home and dine here!!! It doesn't get any better, ANYWHERE!!!
