Really great restaurant. They nailed it on the atmosphere. Food was excellent and our waiter was most attentive. Wine list was on point too.
Best ravioli with Bolognese I have ever had. Will be back soon
The food is excellent in this often overlooked restaurant. Sole with lemon caper sauce perfectly cooked, they are famous for the Veal Chop, the salmon was excellent, and the tagliatelle Bolognese was delicious. The ambiance is lovely and one can actually have a conversation without screaming. An excellent wine list tops off the experience.
Excellent food, great menu and wine list, outstanding service and convenient location.
Although early, we were welcomed and placed at a table to our satisfaction. Our waiter and everyone took very good care of us. Our meals were as expected: beautiful to behold, warm and extremely flavorful. The wine we ordered was a "healthy" pour. (Would have like options for more beers, but the Malbec we tasted was delightful). Thanks to everyone (especially the suggestion for the cappuccino pie!) Next time we are in Dallas, we will return
With a reservation it took us 15 min to get seated yet they had 3 open tables upon arrival.
28 min to take our order once we were seated.
9 min after that we got our drinks
20 min after that we got our appetizer
50 min after that we got our salad
32 min after that we got our entree.
We ordered a drink at the bar while waiting. While the bartender was making the drink we got seated. The bartender said she would bring us the drink. We never received it. Luckily we were not charged for it.
The Fried Calamari on the appetizer was rubbery and squishy. The Marinara sauce was amazing.
The shrimp on Lobster Ravioli entree was hard and overcooked. The Scallops were chewy. The ravioli and cream sauce tasted great.
The plate that the Bolognese came on felt like it would burn your fingers off. Indicating it had been under a heat lamp. The sauce to pasta ratio was wrong. The Bolognese tasted amazing.
We were one of the last tables to leave the restaurant because it took so long. When another table was asked if they wanted dessert we heard them remark "no thank you, we cannot be here all night".
Adelmo's is truly one of Dallas' finest dining experiences in all respects. It is a must do for all Dallasites and Dallas visitors.
Always friendly with a beautiful setting and good food. Service is always exceptional.
We had a great date night before a concert.
Excellent food at a great price (@$50 + tip). Charming ambience. Definitely adding to my “go to” list.
I am a longtime patron of Adelmo's. It is in a class by itself for Italian cuisine.
No wait to be seated on valentines. Delicious meal and my wife was well pleased
Excellent food and overall experience!
Had another extraordinary lunch. I had a special of rabbit with gnocchi and mushroom in a red wine reduction. I was told this was Adelmo’s mother’s recipe and it was superb.
Excellent as usual!!! I would highly recommend Adelmo's for any occasion … staff and food are without compare
You cannot find better
Food is great! Very kind people working there. Great service
My fish had terrible veggies on top
Great atmosphere and food! Very enjoyable evening!!
We live out of state and come to Dallas 3-4 times a year. We found Adelmo’s by accident about 3 years ago. We have made it a routine stop for dinner every time we come to town.
Delicious food in a very attractive and comfortable setting
We have been to Adelmo's twice , both time the food was excellent as was the service .
NYE Dinner was fantastic!
Adelmo's is truly one of Dallas' dining treasures!!!
Excellent food....exceptional service.
Food and service was very good. The tasty soup of the day (Lobster Bisque) could have been served a bit hotter. The Minestrone soup was served hot and was delicious. I chose Salmon as my entree and it was cooked to perfection. To the staff and management, thank you for a very pleasant dining experience! Will definitely return.
Food was amazing. Service was perfect. We will definitely be going again.
Food was excellent, service was outstanding. Great location.
The lobster ravioli special was the best I’ve ever had!!!
Excellent. Quiet, good food, good atmosphere, all well.
Delicious meal with friends. Veal scallopine limone, veal marsala and veal chop were all very good. Chianti was very good. Frito misto appetizer was yummy. Tiramisu and pistachio gelato are both delicious too.
They brought out food out at different times. Took a long time to take our order-40 minutes.
Two couples that enjoyed the location, atmosphere and the food. Best crepe brûlée we’ve ever had! We’d respectfully submit attention to the service, bread and dinner salads would be beneficial.
The best Italian restaurant in Dallas with outstanding wines and service. It never ceases to please.
Always excellent in every respect. Many years of high quality and great value. Hats off to the Adelmos.
Perfect evening with friends
The food was amazing and the restaurant is beautifully decorated for the holidays. This was a perfect warm cozy spot for an anniversary dinner!
Perfect locale for a Thursday or Friday business lunch. Although there was a party of 18 guests in the main dining area, my older guests and I had no issues hearing each other.
As always, every aspect of the meal was carefully choreographed and attended. One could have measured the perfection of the place settings and the 3 places would not have differed by a millimeter. The timing of the cocktails and courses was not rushed, nor did it lag. Each of us tried a new dish and from the Shrimp Linguine special to Sole to the Lobster Ravioli with Asparagus we were all pleased with everything. The wine glasses were freshened with alacrity and our requests for little things like bread and butter were immediately fulfilled.
Lauren, the up-and-coming, second generation of this establishment has stepped into a larger role and shows great promise in following her father’s esteemed footsteps. With so much wonderful training and pedigree between their waitstaff, the Chef and front of the house here, I am always surprised that I can get a table! The reason is the parking, if not for that - this gem, recently relocated to Inwood Village would be the talk of the town. My suggestion, take an Uber, the dining experience well justifies it!
Usually the bread pudding is my go-to dessert. This visit my guest talked me into the Creme Brûlée, while it was the right portion for one, it was easily was shared by three of us with a side of their amazing truffles. Jani promised us the perfect espresso and he delivered. The whole experience rivaled any of the finest dining in Dallas or Fort Worth.
Best veal chop ever
