Very pleased with meal and service. Enjoyed the fact that the noise level was so low you could actually carry on a conversation.

This is a great restaurant! I have heard Adelles advertised on the COD jazz radio many times and we decided to try it as a belated Valentines Celebration. It exceeded my wife's and my expectations in every way. Great music, food and service. From now on this will be "Our Place" to celebrate and entertain.

Top notch food and service, suprised my 7 year old with a chocolate chip cookie desert. Food perfect from apps to desert. Chef John knows his stuff. Will be back soon.

If a restaurant has poor background music and lukewarm food it kills my experience. Adelle’s delivered on both. Music just right in terms of volume and styles...yes, plural. A nice mix of different music. Trust me it matters. Food was hot. And wonderful; good menu choices. Service with a smile and staff attentive. Wine list full of choices and one of the best in the western suburbs with quality, premium wines; some well known and some other good finds.

We (3) visited this restaurant recently for Valentines Day. They were fully booked. They used a fixed price approach with various options for appetizer, entree and desert. Any wine or cocktails were extra. With the exception of the Halibut, which was a little tough. Though a little pricey, everything (food, service, ambiance) was excellent. We will return and do recommend.

Had a very good meal as did everyone in our party of 4. The service was great and the halibut and duck were cooked perfectly. Even thought the restraunt was full, it was as surprisingly quiet. Good experience all around.

We went for our second special occasion with a Prix Fix menu. The choices were great and the food was wonderful, as was the service. Highly recommended!

Enjoyable and delicious Fat Tuesday dinner. Fried oysters were outstanding and the shellfish stew and mardi gras risotto were marvelous.

Tried Adelle’s after reading reviews on Open Table. Drove over from Elmhurst. Very creative menu with almost more specials than the base menu. We were seated promptly. After ordering our food, a man (not our server) came over to open the bottle of wine we brought with us. Turned out to be the co-owner. His wife came over later, too. What great service. The food was outstanding. Just as important, my wife and I could actually hear each other talk. We’ll be back and bring friends.

The meal was great. But this is the second time I have been there and they ran out of the special that I wanted.

I had the pork chop porterhouse which was one of the dinners on the special menu. It was just OK. My wife had the regular menu salmon, which the waiter said was better then the special menu salmon. She did not like it at all. Very dry. I ordered the Caesar salad and it was the worst Caesar I have ever had. Have been coming here for years and was very disappointed the last two times. Guess I will just stick to Ivy when I want to dine in Wheaton.

We were seated promptly but the seat directly in front of the kitchen door was less then desirable for our group of four to sit and enjoy a nice dinner.
Our server was very nice and attentive but the bus service was slow and we kept needing to ask for water.
Two of us enjoyed our meals and two of us found them a bit lacking. Whatever they used to ‘spice ‘ the salmon and kale was too salty and left me with indigestion.

Disappointed. Boxed mashed potatoes served with meatloaf. But the guy at the table next to me got REAL mashed potatoes (could see the red skins mixed in) with his steak. Very disappointed. Waitress seemed uninterested in being there and forgot to apply out restaurant week discount.

As always food was wonderful, service was attentive but not oppressive. No corkage fee Tuesday, means you can bring that special bottle you've been thinking of opening.

The food and service are always great. This occasion we went on a Friday for live music. The guitarist was incredible. Yet, you could have low conversations while he was playing. Perfect evening.

I was totally unimpressed by this restsurant. I was expecting more based on the glowing reviews. To start off the hostess barely said s word to us and looked as if she was mad at the world- totally unwelcoming! Secondly, the decor is atrocious! It is one thing when a restaurant simply does not try, but a totally different thing when they make s definite attempt at creating a look that just does not work. Adelle’s decor appeared to be attending an industrial theme but had mission style lighting fixtures and overall was cold feeling and dull. The food was abut better than average. The appetizer of pear and date bruschetta was soggy and the carrot soup was bland, but at least it was hot. The cuts of meat?chicken and pork) were both very tender and delicious. The service was the highlight of the experience. Our server was extremely friendly, attentive, and very accommodating to my special requests. Overall, the best part of the dinner was the service.

We have been going to Adelle's for years, beginning with their old location by Wheaton College. This visit was on New Years Eve and was our first truly disappointing visit. We had made a point to request a table where we could sit and hear the jazz duo . We waited twenty minutes but that didn't happen. Instead, we were seated in the far corner of the dining room by the emergency exit.

Service was just okay. Our server did not have much of a personality. Overall the food was very good (as usual). With drinks, we spent well over $400 (for four people). Other good restaurants offered their regular menu as well as a special NYE menu -- but there was no choice here, just the $85/person, prix fixe menu. We were disappointed.

I believe the food was good, however, we attended on NYE and were not told that there was only one menu being served that evening at a cost of approximately $90 per person. Again, the food was good, but certainly not $90 worth. We will not return.

A wonderful place for Christmas Eve. The lobster risotto was excellent and the deviled eggs delicious! The room was busy in a nice festive atmosphere. Thank you Adelle's!
