Great music and delicious food with excellent service!
Adele’s is my favorite restaurant in Wheaton. They do need to change up the menu and bring back the Halibut
The food and service were excellent. I wish they had a few more menu choices but what they have is worth coming to this restaurant to eat.
The food is presented in a very attractive offering.
Since the weather was pleasant we dined outside. The outdoor area was nicely decorated. There was very little street noise, so the experience was enjoyable. Our server was very attentive.
Server was very nice, and overall did a great job. Bus staff kept asking to clear too soon, and when they finally did they banged every piece of China and silver together in an incredibly annoying manner. The food was disappointing. Risotto was not risotto. Oh, maybe aborio rice but terrible technique. We ordered soft shell crab....then told they were out 5 minutes later. Pork Chop was just fine. The special deviled eggs were not special. Overall nice place, nice people, but kitchen cooked like it was just a job. No passion, no care, no love. Would not avoid the restaurant, but would definitely not go out of my way to return. So many better choices in the world.
Creative dishes! Fun appetizers to share! Fun atmosphere with outside dining on a summer evening. Good wine and beer selection.
Service was horrible
Don’t know how the food tasted, we ended up leaving after sitting at our table with drinks for over 30 minutes without someone taking our order. The manager was nice and offered to comp our meal, but we were frustrated with the lack of service. Other tables around us had been attended to two or three times while we were ignored.
The patio is beautiful on a warm summer evening. There were 4 of us and we ordered lots of appetizers including the lobster spring rolls, the deviled eggs, fish tacos, sliders and an on special dish - seafood risotto. All dishes were amazing with great flavor and just plain delicious. A fun night.
Daughter-in-law's birthday; seating and wait staff were very good; one of us is vegetarian and there were no choices on the menu - when our vegetarian guest asked for suggestions, the waiter hesitated and mentioned a salad. When asked further, the only offerings were a side dish of asparagus and a sweet potato that seemed to be mashed in a bowl with no seasoning and very dry.
Our guest is vegetarian, not even vegan - he did enjoy the beet salad, but there should be one or two specific entrees available with grains like rice or quinoa with roasted veggies or perhaps the chef could prepare something a little creative and delicious from seasonal produce. Most restaurants we dine at are happy to prepare something.
Delightful anniversary evening! Had a wonderful time on the patio.
Great place for dinner. Service is always topnotch and the food is excellent. Never had a bad meal.
ALWAYS a GREAT experience! The food, service, ambiance, & pricepoint are wonderful. Truley a place you must dine at when in the Wheaton area.
Great place! Todd is a fantastic host. My wife and I always enjoy dinner here.
Love this place!
Long time customer. Somewhat disappointed in the risotto special. Very bland and very small portion for $28. Ceasare salad was good as always.
Always a treat! Adelle’s continues to amaze!
Been there many times and always a great meal at Adelle’s with great service. Can’t go wrong with this place.
The food, spirits and service did not align with the cost of the outing but we did enjoy the food.
Overall, good experience however, nothing exceptional. After being seated, it took some time to have a server ask us for our drink orders. When dinner was served, it was by runners who hastily dropped our food and left. Again, more time passed prior to our server stopping by to see if everything was satisfactory. Multiple times during our meal, bus staff continually tried to pick up our plates.
Food was good, however the overall experience was not relaxed and we continually felt rushed. Not sure I would return.
Went for Mother’s Day. We didn’t know they only offered the fixed price dinner menu that came with appetizer, entree and dessert. What I wanted to order was not on the fixed price menu. Would have been nice if they offered the regular menu. May have to come back so I can try the dish that I wanted.
Bread basket wasn’t refilled my until we asked for more. And when they brought more, no butter was offered.
Love this cute quant restaurant. Such a delightful and delicious place to dine. :)
My wife and I absolutely enjoy dining at Adelle’s.
It is a very fine restaurant with outstanding service from the bar to the dining room. We consider the Executive Chef John Anderson to be one of the premier chef’s in the Western suburbs. His specials are always spot on and seasonally fresh and quite flavorful. He always has special appetizers and entree’s to compliment their perfectly balanced daily menu.
The wine list is top notch with some reasonably priced by the glass choices too.
I would recommend you giving this spectacular restaurant a chance & once you do it will become your favorite place to enjoy food wine and atmosphere.
Overall it was OK. Our server was very slow and the food was just OK. For the prices on the menu I was expecting a higher level of service and food quality. Again, not bad, but I'm not rushing back anytime soon either.
This was our first time here. It was only average. The service was too quick - had just barely finished appetizer when entree arrived. I hate that! The portobello fries were terrific - go just for those.
We took mom for Mother’s Day it was very good! The gnocchi was amazing
Always a great time. The fpod is incredible and the service is always impeccable.
Fabulous atmosphere and food was exceptionally fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!
We had a great time at Adelle's! The wine list is different than other restaurants, but Heather helped us find a great Red Blend for a reasonable price. The Halibut special was outstanding. Atmosphere was great and noise level quiet enough for easy conversation. We will be back.
Wow. What a great evening. Debbie and Todd make a guest's experience great. Patio was open so ate outside. Halibut preparation could not have been better complemented by a boutique winery Rose. Look forward to next time.
Second time here.
Excellent food and service.
Delicious bread pudding!
Had a great meal. i ordered the risotto of the day, which had crab meat and was absolutely delicious. Great ambiance and service! Highly recommend....
This was our second visit. We asked to sit on the patio. Our food was fast and delicious. The only complaint was about our server, who apparently had some friends dining on the patio as well. She spent quite a bit of time with them while we waited (impatiently) for attention. It took quite a while to receive our check and then again to pay. That was a bit frustrating, and I think it was not indicative of other servers or other visits. The entrees, like last time, were very good. The desserts included a few unusual combinations of flavors, and we chose not to have dessert this time.
Came for Wheaton North jazz band. Super great music!!! Wasn't satisfied with gluten free options. No gf pasta, buns, etc. Poor kids choices. These Could be improved.
Had a great time due to entertainment!
My wife and I wanted to try a restaurant in the downtown Wheaton, and we picked this place after checking our some reviews (and there was also a reservation available when we wanted to to eat). The ambiance was very nice. We tried a lobster spring roll appetizer which was excellent, although very richly priced. My wife had the mahi mahi special, which was good but a little on the bland side. I had the hangar steak, which had a good sauce and accompaniments Unfortunately, the steak was overcooked and on the dry side. The strawberry/blackberry shortcake dessert was outstanding. Wines by the glass were decently priced and generous pours. Service was friendly but slow. All in all, a very nice restaurant, but a little expensive for what you get.
Service and food wrre top notch !!
Smelled like fish when we first walked in. Decor needs updating. Food was decent. Cooked well. Service was good. They set up a table behind us and the sound of screeching table as it was dragged along with the chairs was uncalled for. Pick it up and carry it so the diners are not bothered. It cheapened the experience along with the outdated decor. Probably won’t return due to fishy smell (it was like this on a previous visit too).
Server was very friendly and attentive. The food is always excellent here and the atmosphere is vibrant but not over the top. Definitely a favorite of ours.
Fabulous meal and service! Best place for risotto I know of - creamy and full of flavor, not at all sticky or gummy. Outstanding chopped Caesar salad, delicious halibut perfectly cooked with light lemon butter sauce and sautéed peas and wild mushrooms. Excellent key lime pie and bittersweet chocolate mousse rounded out a most enjoyable meal. Also excellent wine selection by the glass!
Great service, delicious cocktails, and a good wine list complimented an excellent meal. The risotto was decadent and delicious, and the cheese tray was a great finish. My guests loved their desserts as well!
