We had a romantic evening
Exceptional experience all the way around! I highly recommend Adelle's!!
Will be back
Great service as always! Excellent food and good selection.
Very much enjoyed the evening. Really enjoyed the meatloaf. Would like to see a few more moderately priced entrees. Also more green vegetable offerings
Like always we had another great evening at Adelle's
Adelle's does everything right. The food, service and ambiance are without rival in Wheaton!!
Outstanding. Great service and food we’ve been ordering curbside the last year, first time we’ve eaten inside for a long time
Food was delicious. Service was excellent. They were able to modify my dinner entree selection to eliminate dairy. The dining room was quiet and comfortable.
Delightful restaurant with great food and wonderful service.
Great service and very good food.
This was our first visit here in months because of the pandemic. We had salads, the mascarpone risotto, and the scallops. The food was prepared to perfection! We often are disappointed when we order seafood in the Midwest, but the scallops were some of the best I’ve ever tasted, anywhere! The risotto was delicious and the salads were very good too.
Our server was great: helpful but not intrusive. The only shortcoming was the poor lighting. We like a romantic setting but the lighting was inadequate for reading the menu and overall ambiance. It was cool enough that they could have lit the fire but they didn’t. We highly recommend this place: excellent food and great service.
Last Friday evening I hosted a small informal birthday dinner honoring my soon to be daughter in law...as a result, most everything met or exceeded our expectations!👍
For appetizers, the in-house giardinera was incredibly fresh and satisfying. We also enjoyed their deviled eggs which definitely completed our appetizer feast.
Our dinner entrees included scallops, chicken, Caesar salad and my personal fav, pork chops.
Our sides were ricotta risotto & green beans and everything met or exceeded our expectations 😋
The food was wonderful, and we really appreciated the table spacing and service.
Al dente pasta too undercooked. Pasta dish had no sauce and no flavor. Only offer cold soup. Ceasar’s salad is poor. New menu is poor as well as the six different dishes we have ordered. Use to be my favorite Wheaton/Glen Ellyn restaurant but we have tried twice now since change in menu and chef and unfortunately have no intentions of a third visit anytime soon. So sad as again this was our go to place.
My wifecand I had the Scallops and Halibut respectively. Both were very good.
The scallops portion was generous - either 7 or 8 U-10 scallops and perfectly cooked, not rubbery at all. It was served with cooked fennel stalks; some of the fennel was still pretty crisp (i.e., hard) but some was fine. The scallops were the star.
The Halibut was perfectly cooked as well. The sauce was a Italian tomato sauce that suited the Halibut well.
We also has the cheesy risotto; we've had better at Adell's so this was a disappointment but a minor one.
Out front service was great; our water was refilled before it got too low and the server did a tremendous job advising our choices. The kitchen was a bit slow; the patio was socially-distant full so that might have been the cause. It was a nice evening on the patio so not a problem.bFood was served hot.
All-in-all, it was a great dinner.
We went for Easter brunch. The food is always really good and was great but the reduced menu didn’t have a lot of options for different dietary preferences.
The atmosphere is elegant (lower lighting) dining and and a bit of artsy, swank; especially considering it's the the western suburbs of Wheaton:) The wait staff is also elegant, very well trained and polite and professional. Everything was really delicious (food-wise) and my cosmo was perfection. We skipped dessert because the dessert menu was just so-so at the time we dined. However I understand that their menus change often. Really nice adult dinner date out; without having to go downtown:).
Two meals were good, two were a bit disappointing, but not bad. A little disappointed that the room was fairly empty and we were seated at the kitchen door
We are outside near a heater. Delicious dinner. Nice attentive waitress. Good times.
Adelle's is the best restaurant in Wheaton! The food and service are both phenominal. Honestly, Adelle's does not have a shortcoming.
We were there to celebrate a friend’s 90th birthday. The staff went above and beyond to make the dinner special.
Food was delicious and Carlos our waiter was excellent.
As usual the service was great and the food was very well done
The restaurant is a gem in my opinion!! You won't hesitate to come back.
Our group was 8 in size to celebrate a friend's 55th birthday. For several in the group it was the first time they ate out in a restaurant since COVID began in March 2020. They felt perfectly comfortable with the seating arrangement and masks only when coming in and going to the table, when going to the rest rooms, and when leaving. There is a new chef, and the food and preparations, as in the past, were amazing - but different and new.
Service continues to be first class....good to see same staff from prior to restaurant shut downs. Looking forward to more meals and Adelles, and the return of Thursday jazz nights!
This was our first time eating here so I feel like we should have done a better research on what to order. I had the braised short rib and it was not good. It was very tough and fatty. My son ordered the short rib ravioli, he said it was okay. My husband had the brined 1/2 chicken and he said his was good. They also split a Ceasar salad that neither of them thought was very good. I will say the hot bread we enjoyed as an appetizer was delicious!
Food wasn’t as good as we were used to.
Adelle's is a hidden gem! The Staff are friendly & attentive. The menu selection is wide ranging & will appeal to most. I would highly recommend for a special night out or just a night out.
The food is wonderful & reasonably priced. The adult beverages are generous & tasty.
We have been there several times & have always had a quality experience & a fun time.
I would highly recommend dining at Adelle's without hesitation.
Tasty, yummy, unique flavors, ranges from wonderfully healthy options to the more indulgent, and an extremely pleasant atmosphere. I will be back!
Friendly service. Food you can count on. Varied fresh menu. Oh those deviled eggs, a favorite.
Always a lovely meal at Adelle’s
Love the place. We will be back soon. Been going there for almost 17 years.
The food is amazing and the service is outstanding.
Food is unique, fresh, and is different enough of a menu to make one visit. Service was impeccable, as water was filled ridiculously fast, plates taken away but not like trying to rush you out. Taste of all things very good, especially the potatoes that came with the meatloaf. Price, honestly, was higher than needs to be. Also, bread should be a normal, on table, free expectation at this point, unless you want to pay for a specialty loaf or something unique. $5 for the bread loaf makes you think the whole time why am I paying for something I normally get for free, even at high price nice restaurants like Hugo’s. All in all, crowd was good, food was very good, service was great, and a small change could make this a return place easily. PS: Great Covid mask-wearing by all employees too, which was great.
We had a great time to celebrate my birthday.
The brined and deboned chicken was outstanding. The new way the chef is doing the tempura green beens is also great - a different dipping sauce - very tasty. They now have fresh baked chocolate chip cookies that are also delicious.
Adelle's never disappoints! The food and service are always fantastic! Thanks Debbie and Todd for all you do for the restaurant as well as our community.
We do enjoy dining at Adelle's. The variety and quality are outstanding! We have shared our dining experience with several family and friends. Always a great experience every time. Thank you for being a farm to table fresh restaurant and with great gluten free options. Check out pictures on Google Maps too
We will be back soon
