BAR OPEN LATER EACH NIGHT THAN DINING ROOMS
As always a great experience! Thank you.
The food is amazing and the staff is great too. Brenda, our server, was very friendly and the owner of the restaurant checked in with us mid-meal to see how our food was. We come here once a year from the city for a nice fall date night out in the suburbs and we love it.
Absolutely Terrible!! One of the meals we ordered was White Fish...(which has no bones) there were bones throughout the entire filet...as well as the second White Fish, which replaced the first one. The Chef of someone should have felt the filet to make sure there were no bones and for that matter, check the entire box. Never again
Adelle’s is a favorite that we go back to again and again. The food never disappoints!
Live music and service were both great. Food also good.
The ambiance was lovely as usual. The service was ok, but my friend and I were very disappointed in the food. We had one of their daily specials, the trout. It wasn’t hot and lacked taste. Could it have been frozen? A quite pricey mistake.
Really nice place for a Saturday night .Excellent service. Friendly staff, I can see my self coming here again an again
Super slow service. Salad and green beans tasted funny. 2 of the 3 guests were sick all night.
Overall terrible. Had to wait 20 minutes past reservation time for our table. Service was the worst ever - busboys were banging plates around as if they were wrestling steers. Inattentive server. Slopped steak juice all over the table when serving the plate in haste. $24 for a pasta dish - should be $8.95 based on the food quality. Don't waste your time at this place.
Adelke’s Is perfect for conversation, delicious food, varied menu and quality service
Excellent food and Very pleasant service. They were a bit busy the night we were there so staff was stretched a bit too much accross the restaurant. Otherwise an exceptional dinner and very pleasant place to be...
Always outstanding Debbie and Todd are always so gracious
Waitress was disinterested. It was our anniversary, we got 2 flutes of champagne as we were paying our bill. 2 pieces of pork tenderloin for $18. Husband’s meatloaf was undercooked. We have been here before and something has changed. Will think twice about going back.
I thought the food was good. The portabello mushrooms were great, as was the risotto and whitefish. The server was nice, but did not add any value to our experience.
Excellent food. We had the Gnocchi and Deviled Egg appetizers, the Gnocchi was to die for. I wouldn't order the eggs again, it was the weakest item we tried. We had the tempura green beans -- absolutely amazing! The brussel sprout salad was divine. We had 2 desserts -- bread pudding and almond cake, both awesome. No entries this time, kind of did our own tapas thing. Enjoy!
Tonight was the first time eating inside, other than in the bar for Happy Hour. The ambiance left a bit to be desired. Loud, and really nothing special in terms of the space. The food, however, was incredibly delicious.
Very cool restaurant. Was very crowded while there. Food was very good. Shared the ceasar salad, different and delicious. Oven roasted chicken hanger steak were cooked perfectly. Nice place.
Everything was fantastic, food was delicious, and the dessert was amazing
Love the seafood risotto. Our favorite in Wheaton for a more special event.
Second visit. Second excellent experience.
The wine list was less than desirable. I found it limited for sweet/fruity wine drinkers. The main entree was good but small portions for the price. As long as you know what to expect this is a good restaurant in a nice neighborhood.
Our server was amazing and the food was great. However, we were completely distracted by one particular food runner constantly setting up trays and tray holders next to our table and carrying them around the dining room. He also brought other tables’ food along with ours on these trays as if to save the trip. Seemed more like a pancake house than a fine dining experience in that respect.
Great food and service!
The ambiance was great and is definitely a neighborhood gem. The portion size was a bit small since there are shareable plates and regular entrees. The entree was comparable with the shareable plate but yet delicious. Our server was outstanding!
An outstanding fine dining experience. Great ambience, service, and food.
The new bar menu is great! And the drink specials are also very good.
This is a little gem a bit west of downtown Wheaton, close to the train station. The food is excellent with a nice variety of choices that are updated often. Also, there is a good selection of wines. Great spot for outdoor or special occasion dining.
We have eaten here twice now and both times I had the server describe something off the menu I wasn’t sure about. I ordered each time based on their delicious description and I was not disappointed. I am fairly picky when it comes to seafood but each of the dishes surprised me leaving me very satisfied with the selection. First was pistachio crusted salmon, second was monchong with mango salsa. Portion was perfect as well.
Have been going for years and always enjoyed. This time the food was not what it had been in the past. Outside dining was beautiful. Service was great.
Exceptional in every way! Our favorite go to place.
The food, ambiance, and service were all outstanding.
Always the BEST! Menu is unique and always changing. It is hard to make a choice which I can not say about most restaurants. Fresh, delicious shareable and entrees plus great salads... oh did I forget the best cocktails large beer and wine list
Outdoor dining a must try
Chefs, management, bus service spot on our server Meh
Adelle's continues to impress with their quality and service. While you won't find off-the-wall or trendy dishes on the menu, you will find finely prepared takes on classic fish, meat, and pasta dishes. Ingredients are always top-notch. Service is friendly and top notch. Highly recommended.
I like to dine here when I want to be able to talk to my dinner companions. Most of the patrons are adults and it is a nice quiet, relaxing atmosphere with good food and a friendly waitstaff.
We've often gone to Adelle's for the excellent food. The service is sometimes excellent, sometimes not so much. This visit, the food was very good, the service left us feeling abandoned, and the noise level made conversation difficult. The 3 stars overall was achieved based on the food quality.
Risotto is aways my favorite. The only place you should order it is at Adelle's. My wife had the filet and it wss outstanding. One of the best restaurants in the Western suburbs.
We have been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years. Primarily for special occasions (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.) as this restaurant is a bit pricey—justified by great food and a quiet setting. This time the food was not good. My $37 steak tenderloin was overdone and tough and only had 3-4 fingerling potatoes to accompany it, the sauce on my wife's salmon did not taste right and the accompanying asparagus needed seasoning--very bland maybe because that vegetable is no longer in season all the more reason for more seasoning, and the mixed vegetables that I ordered to accompany my steak were not good either. Specifically, it appeared that the carrots and zucchini (among other vegetables) in this dish were cooked in the same pan--but carrots take longer to cook than zucchini--the result was "mushy" vegetables! Not at all pleasant. We skipped dessert to cut our losses so to speak. I subsequently discussed our dining experience with Todd, one of the restaurant owners, and he assured me it was an isolated problem. Had I not generally had good dinners over years, I would be skeptical since we had a less than spectator dinner at Adelle’s earlier this summer—same disappointing salmon entree. Todd promised me a financial incentive (presumably a gift card) for the negative experience—not sure whether this will change my mind about returning to the restaurant after two less than spectacular dinners here within a couple of months.
Great service from the moment we walked in. Food was very good and the atmosphere felt very private.
Birthday dinner was very good...Skirt steak was cooked to order and delicious, the Salmon was very good. Loved the garlic mashed potatoes. Portobello fries were great starters and the bread pudding was terrific finisher. A really nice birthday evening.
