Addison Café offers guests in Dallas a menu filled with French culinary delights in an upscale environment that is perfect for an elegant evening out. Guests at Addison Café can begin their dinner with an appetizer such as smoked Scottish salmon or duck confit, and follow this with a delicious entrée such as roasted quail, baked ravioli or pepper-crusted filet steak.
Addison Café also serves lunch, but you won’t find a pared-down version of the sophisticated dinner service here. Lunch at Addison Café is every bit as delicious, and includes special dishes such as Poulet Victor Higo and Poulet Casear. Finish your meal with a delicate French dessert such as crème brûlée.
My sisters and I enjoyed Thanksgiving at Addison Cafe and it was perfect in every respect. They offered a four course luncheon and everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. The service was welcoming and attentive. We look forward to returning.
Always a delicious and enjoyable meal served in a relaxing and unhurried atmosphere. Plus, the noise level is not loud and the hearing impaired member of our group was able to hear just great. We love this restaurant.
Always outstanding food and service, lunch or dinner.
We went to the Addison Café for my birthday. There were four of us. The experience was similar to a high level cruise ship. We loved it!
Over the years, I have eaten at the Addison Cafe too many times to count, for both lunch and dinner. The food and service are always excellent. The restaurant is intimate and relatively quiet and you can easily carry on a conversation without yelling or having to repeat yourself. So rare in restaurants today. Excellent dining experience.
Our dinner was excellent and service one of the best ever. We were greeted when entering the restaurant as if we were the most important customers ever. Very professional. We love French cuisine and we were not disappointed. Will definitely return
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Liked that they serve tiny portions of sides with the entree. Wait staff was excellent~ perfect timing
I loved our server! she is always pleasant and extremely customer service oriented!
We wanted a nice, quit place for a friends birthday. Our expectations were exceeded many times. The escargot was outstanding. My wife had the trout and I had the chicken Marsala, all was outstanding. This restaurant felt like a local favorite, all with great food and service.
This lovely traditional french bistro is tucked in such an unlikely location - the shopping center in Addison of Beltline. I have lived in France and I say this is some great classic food, great quality and everything was delicious. It is not trendy, or loud, a bit stoped in time - don't let that fool you- they appear not to have changed anything because why mess with a good thing? If you want a quiet place where you can hear your friend or date along with some great food and wine - this is your place.
In 20 years of eating at the Addison Cafe, it has been consistently good. The staff is friendly and very professional (not in your face all the time), and the food is well prepared. Excellent wines by the glass. My only complaint is that the menu never seems to change, but then you know what to expect and what you like, so I guess that might be a good thing. If you actually want to talk to the people you are dining with, this is the place to go to. It's quiet and cozy, the food is really nice, and the prices are fair.
Great place and wonderful food! Super for business lunches!
We had not been there in years. Food was awsome. We closed the place down and they were so kind. They insisted we stay. thank you!
Always great food and service.
As wonderful as usual!!!!! I recommended Addison Cafe to several friends and they all love it.
Still some of the best food in Addison! My mom loved this place and it’s remained one of the best nouvelle dining sources around. Highly recommend it!
The food was excellent and the servers very attentive. Thank you much.
Fabulous drinks and wine selection coupled with a great wait staff and yummy food. Excellent!
My wife and I, plus another couple, had dinner at Addison Cafe this month. All four of us agreed that Addison Cafe is a winner. We were pleased at the variety of food selections and the quality of what we selected. And we enjoyed the restaurant decor and the excellent service we received. We will be back.
Food and service are excellent. My go to spot for a quiet romantic evening.
Service was very good. Food was mediocre at best.
Not for children. Perfect for great food, great service and the ability to enjoy quiet conversation. Reasonable wine list makes for a wonderful experience.
Our “Go To” place in Addison, TX.
We were here for our wedding anniversary. The service was great the food was fantastic and the wine is reasonable for this kind of restaurant. They were out of Korbel Brut so they substituted a pricier dry champagne for the Korbel. I had an exccellent rainbow trout and my wife has an excellent Salmon.
We will be back!
The server was excellent. The duck confit appetizer was delicious. The Caesar salad dressing was made from scratch and perfect. But the sole was very overcooked. The server said the chef always "fully cooks" all the fish dishes. Well done fish is bad fish. Very unfotunate.
I liked our server. However, when we have an intense conversation, I wish our server would have waited for an opening rather than cutting us off in mid-sentence.
One of my favorites! The food is great as well as the outstanding customer service.
My date and I had a wonderful evening everything was excellent. I would certainly recommend.
Great food and service.
Addison Cafe reliably delivers excellent food in a peaceful setting. The swordfish special on our last visit was outstanding.
Whenever we want a quiet, elegant dining experience with great service and even better food, we go to the Addison Cafe. We ordered the onion soup (delightfully cheesy and hot!), a filet mignon steak (tender and tasty) and the rack of lamb (mild and cooked perfectly). Desert was just right. What a good place.
Beautiful food and beyond great service. Everyone was so attentive and friendly. The food is was delicious and on point. Perfect for a date night!
One of the best meals and dining experiences my husband and I have had in a long time.
Classic French bistro with delicious food - pricey for lunch but worth every penny.
My dish (rack of lamb) was tough. The others in the party said their’s was good.
I feel like the wait staff needs some training not to reach across the customer when serving but too walk around.
My wife and I ate at this established restaurant to celebrate my birthday. We had eaten here at least 30 years ago with friends and remembered it as a friendly place with good food. Obviously, I don't remember much else about the first experience, but after this visit I'm thinking things haven't changed much. The atmosphere is pleasant, although dated, but it's still a very friendly place with excellent food.
Neither of us is a big drinker and we don't know a lot about wine, but our New Zealand cabernet sauvignon was impressive.
My only disappointment was the shrimp bisque not being available, so my wife and I both ordered the Caesar salad, which was large, well-prepared and tasty, although mine had only one crouton.
My wife had the roasted pork tenderloin with cornichon pickle and apple calvados sauce, which she said was perfectly prepared and delicious. My thick pepper crusted filet steak with brandy peppercorn sauce was peppery but not overly so. The meat was tender and cooked perfectly to my request.
We both ordered separate desserts: My wife had the house baked thin pancake filled with warm apple compote and brandy caramel sauce and ice cream and I had the creme brulee. Both were wonderful. In addition, because of my birthday, I was presented with a special dessert of dollops of both the vanilla and chocolate mousse, which we shared. Both were delicious and well-presented.
Service was outstanding. Our waitress was cordial and observant, but non-obtrusive. Some diners came in who were welcomed like family, so it appears that at least some of the patrons are repeat customers, which is understandable because of the friendliness of the staff and the outstanding food. We will definitely not wait another 30 years before returning and highly recommend the Addison Cafe.
This restaurant never disappoints. The food is wonderful and the staff is amazing.
Terrific as always. Good food, good ambiance, (very) quiet enough to have real conversations, and good service. Two thumbs up. Try a French 75 cocktail.
It was a perfect Birthday Celebration! Thanks so much!
