I wanted to try the restaurant and the staff was very nice. Food was good, but an odd selection. I imagine on the weekends, it would be more fun. Nice outdoor space but was too windy that evening.
Food was good but they were out of 2 items I wanted. In a 6 or 7 plate menu that's really bad. Service could also improve.
We were a table of 9, 4 adults, 5 kids; only people in the restaurant and still the service was terrible. So terrible, that there were times the adults went to the bar to get service from the bartender. There were more than enough wait staff, and servers. I would hate to see what happens when they get busy!
I decided to bring a number of clients to this ADDiKT. The drinks and bartender were excellent. The place looked nice and was quiet. We sat down and ordered appetizers which were ok nothing special but acceptable. We ordered steaks most of which we not cooked as ordered. A friend myself and a top customer all ordered the same steak medium rare. The steak my customer was served was well done the steak my friend received was rare as was the one I received. We politely requested that they correct the problems. Our request was met by the response that this is the way they cook steaks and we should have ordered differently. I was offended and responded saying “why are you arguing with me? It would be more appropriate to just serve my guests what they want” the server swept the steaks away to be corrected and we eagerly awaited the servers return. The server arrives back 30-35min later which I thought was excessive. When the server arrived with fresh new steaks I was ready to dig in and thanked her for taking care of our concerns. Well it appears that the chef was offended this was evident by the fact that he or she barely seared the three steaks and send them out raw! Now I was fuming and I got up from my table with the three steaks and headed to the servers workspace next to the kitchen door. I placed the three steaks on the work surface and examined them carefully under the bright light to be sure that I was not just being overly sensitive. Sure enough they were raw. I requested that the chef come out so that I could show chef what the kitchen produced. I was assured chef would be right out. I assumed it was some smart a$ and not the chef themselves who would send a product back out in fashion that suggested it was done purposely. The chef never appeared. About 30min the food and beverage manager for the W hotel arrived. She was very professional and offered to give us the entire meal gratis. This was above and beyond what I expected. Bravo W hotel. Lose chef!
Service was horrible. My wife and will will not return....
Came here for dinner on Valentine’a day. Traffic was horrific, and they were very accommodating when we asked to adjust our reservation time. That’s about the only positive point of the evening. We sat down and were presented a pre-fixe menu. We ordered a bottle of Champagne- which we served ourselves. The food, was unfortunately a nightmare. For appetizers- we had lump crab meat, with some pea purée, and the escaviche. Tasteless and boring. Our mains were the grouper which was over cooked and mushy, the potatoes were terrible- and the sauce/butter concoction was broken. The filet mignon was tough, cutting through it was rather difficult. The sauce over reduced. Dessert was inedible. Our server was quick to try and clear our dishes- and didn’t bother asking how our meal was. It almost seemed as though she knew we weren’t enjoying our meal and just was trying to get us out as soon as possible. We went up to the 50th floor after dinner- it was empty- and the bartender couldn’t wait to get out of there. We came up at 11:10, by 11:20, the bartender was gone. 11:25, they shut the music off. 11:30 cleaning crew was out. Advertised time to close was mid-night. Had to go elsewhere to have a proper meal. Our evening was well over 500 dollars- and one of the worst dining experiences we have ever encountered.
Felt like we were being rushed to place our order, even though the place only our party and another table.
Empty, pretty bad food, service was ok.. not worth a 225 meal with one drink
This place is wonderful !!! The food, the service and the view are spectacular
Good food but the service was a little slow
Terrible ambiance. Tacky. Food was awful. Octopus chewy, grouper over cooked. Very expensive for no value.
Went for birthday and surprised me with a special dessert. Service was amazing! My picky family loved it! View was fantastic.
Great food, amazing view, romantic, not crowded
We loved the waiter but the food took FOREVER. For a 5 course meal it took 1 hour to get to the second course.
Made plans for New Year’s Eve and Addikt was awful. Horrible service could not even get water for 45 minutes, to get the first two courses of food took over 3 hours basically ruin a New Years celebration. Left after two if the 5 course meal was offered no concessions made on the bill or apologies. If you want your evening ruined go there.
Just my opinion
Very classy restaurant and amazing food! The grouper and the chocolate cake were awesome, and the wine list was great too.
No one on Friday night. Calm atmosphère
We are visitors from Europe & went to Addikt for Thanksgiving meal. Resto very quiet & no ambience. Shown to a small table with no view but were reseated when we asked to move to a bigger empty table next to the window & view. Food was average / portions small / we asked for bread ‘basket’ to accompany soup and waited ages for it to arrive, to receive sliced bread with a pot of jam... !! Main course was already plated up... no option for more veggies / potato was dry ! Pumpkin pie desert was a small oblong piece .... disappointing. A very mediocre meal for our family Thanksgiving.
Granted we had a prefix Thanksgiving menu, Turkey, stuffing and mash potatoes were dry and flavorless. They had flavor just not a pleasant one. They over complicated a simple meal with nothing memorable. One of our party goers had the pork which they loved. Even the pumpkin pie lost its potential to be delicious due to over complicating its presentation. The apple bread pudding was delicious. I wouldn’t recommend ADDiKT for Thanksgiving although their regular menu may have more flavor.
It took a very long time to be greeted, once greeted we waited a long time for our drinks. The gentleman serving our food was more personable than our actual server. It’s unfortunate that the service provided wasn’t good, as this was our first night out on our trip.
We were looking for a quiet place with a view to catch up with friends in Miami for dinner and we could not have chosen a better venue. The decor was modern without being cold. With walls of windows it gave off an open, airy vibe. It did have a bar that was neither loud nor crowded. If fact, we had the restaurant almost to ourselves and the staff seated us in a corner table with glass on both sides. Had it not been raining, we might have eaten on the terrace. However this table was the most private spot inside. Our waiter, Carlos, was personable and attentive. Service could have been faster, but they had a glitch where no one seemed to have the key to the wine room. The wine list was small, but Carlos was able to find us a nice Chardonnay that did not appear on their list. The menu was also quite small, but every starter and main course was unique and excellent. We each had something different and all dishes were well presented, perfectly seasoned and and delightful. The octopus was a treat, tuna tartare spicy but delicious, and the Quack (duck) was very tasty. The salmon and grouper were out of this world.
For a hotel restaurant (15th floor of The W), it was a pleasant surprise and I would highly recommend ADDiKT for a nice dinner where you can talk without having to shout.
There are very few rooftop bars or restaurants in Miami, and this one has the best view! Service was excellent and food was great. Highly recommend the Purple Haze (filet mignon) and any of the desserts (especially Vanilla Sky).
Great so great really it was pretty solid
We needed a last minute reservation for 10 people after a work outing. ADDIKT at W Miami was more than accommodating. We even had our own private room! Food was amazing and service was amazing!
Simply amazing. It’s totally my new favorite place. It’s Latin and Middle Eastern and French and just yummy. ¡Enjoy! It’s a true pleasure.
As a brand new establishment I felt emphathetic, however for the W this was disappointing.
Great food and service! Grilled octopus and tuna tartare were both excellent. Casual relaxed atmosphere.
We enjoyed nice casual family dinner on the weekend. We all had the Miami Spice dinner, which was a good value. Plating was attractive. Food was nicely executed with abandunt flavor.
Extreme slow service and $19 for valet parking which is not optional
We went for Miami spice and the menu was great!! Great value, original, different... we will return
We got to the restaurant close to the closing time and the service we got was simply awful, the server was in a rush to get our drinks and food served as quickly as possible to get us out of there. On top of that the restaurant had a stench that was just simply not helping to have a pleasant night. Drinks and food were great but the service did not help to enjoy dinner. Definitely not our problem they took the reservation and not our problem if they were in a rush to close the place for the night.
Food was delicious!
Had a great experience overall. Really enjoyed the Miami spice menu along with a few other things we ordered from the regular menu. The service was wonderful; our waiter was informative and attentive. The view was great, and the happy hour specials were even better!
It was an afternoon lunch in Miami. We took our first ride on the bright line fast train to spend a nice casual day in Miami having lunch and also Try Miami spice. Our first waiter unfortunately never came back after giving us water while we decide to have cocktails or not. After a long wait, We had to literally grab another waiter To take our food order. He was really good and attentive, up Until the dessert portion. We had ordered dessert from the prefixed lunch menu , But those desserts never came out. Evidently There was a substitution for desserts but no one, not the waiter nor the manager came out to say that there was a substitution. The food was awesome but The experience was poor due to Probably poor management.
Food was alright, they ran out of the spice menu dessert? Views are great but decor was terrible. No free or discounted parking which isn’t cheap.
We walked in into a nearly empty restaurant and were politely greeted by the hostess. There was only a table of 2 people and 2 more people at the bar. The view was nice. Our server came to greet us and patiently let us figure out our order, so we thought hey it’ll be good. We had a drink each and mine was just a very average cucumber cooler, nothing extraordinary. The appetizer took easily over 20 minutes to come out and by the time it was out the octopus was cold, tho it had nice flavor. From there it just went down with the dessert leaving a really bad taste in our mouths. Server could’ve been more attentive since he was at the table maybe 2-3 occasions after that. In a few words it just didn’t match our expectations. Food was way too average and maybe the only thing was the decent view it had. Just go elsewhere
My experience at ADDiKT was great from start to finish. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and the restaurant has a great view. The food was awesome. The chef plays around with various flavors, textures, colors and feels on each dish that make each one a wonderful experience.
Still new, so more quiet than I expected. The server was very accommodating. The duck and filet was delicious! They ran out of two desserts on the menu, but we went close to 11pm
