A very good food. We went there one Friday when Coronovirus is still on and Gov declared emergency. There was not much crowd. We will definitely go again when things get settled down to see real atmosphere. The bread that gave us was very awesome and we asked for one more serve while we were waiting for our food.
We had a lovely dinner last Friday. Hostess was very friendly.
Our server Adam? was attentive and very good.
Nice wines by the glass, generous cocktails, small but good quality menu, delightful combinations accompanying the entrees, and try the profiteroles! We had a great meal, all said. Portions are not huge but that was good for us, and reflected in the prices.
We have eaten at Addie’s in Park Potomac many times since it opened; we also ate at the original Addie’s and other Black Restaurant Group locations, in particular Black Market Bistro, and have always been pleased. However, our visit on Saturday, 02/29, was a horrible experience. We arrived shortly before our 11:45 reservation, placed our orders no later than 12:10, and, with the exception of a soup that one member of the party ordered which arrived quickly, did not receive our meals until almost 1:00. I know the time since I checked my watch to see how close we were to exceeding the 2-hour free parking window. Consequently, we had to eat quickly to make sure to get to our cars in time. At one point, the waiter told us the delay was due to a party of 30 in the side room; however, I do not believe that was the cause since diners at tables near ours arrived after us, were served before us, and some finished and left before we were ever served. We also received no apology for the delay. A different waiter asked a member of the party if she wanted a refill for her iced tea. When he brought it, he asked if we needed anything else — my wife asked for a refill for her iced tea and his response was that she should have asked before to save him a trip — no excuse for that attitude.
While we will continue to dine at Black Market Bistro, and other Black Group locations, it is highly unlikely that we will return to Addie’s.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. However, the noise level was loud.
Great Risotto! Service was swift & thoughtful! We finish & were able to sit for a little while to talk before turning table. It was nice not to be rushed!
No acknowledgement of birthday!
Lunch here with a friend was a real joy. We were able to enjoy some very good food, and have a long catch-up talk in a quiet, comfortable place. Our server was just the right amount of attentive. Overall it was a great experience. I've already recommended it to a friend who lives nearby an plan to return.
Not impressed. Overpriced for the food quality. Service was good.
My wife and I met for dinner on our first date at Addies. We go back every Valentine’s Day. We are never disappointed.
I would recommend Addies create a special V’day menu.
Food was generally disappointing from what we were expecting.
Oysters were fresh. Entrees were excellent. Dessert was terrible - supposed to be a New York cheesecake special. It was dry and stale. Plate was clearly sitting around for a while in the kitchen - didn't match description of server (even he commented on different look of plate as compared to how it was supposed to look). It should have never left the kitchen. Once we commented on the poor quality to the server, he should have brought it to the attention of the manager. One of those rare occasions when we couldn't finish the dessert. Next time we will skip dessert.
better than the old Addies. Great meal in a quiet spot. Our new favorite.
The dinner was just very average. Service was excellent. Rockfish was just not that good. Bread was good, oysters were good. But the rockfish just was not that good.
Very cute place with good menu. Will return!
Excellent restaurant, delicious food, courteous wait staff. Good for casual meal on the patio or a more upscale meal inside. The patio bar is great.
Met a friend for dinner. Service was excellent. Short rib stroganoff was amazing!
Addies is our go-to restaurant for any occasion. Fried oysters have a delightful briny crunch and when dipped into the aioli finish with a spicy follow through. The Caesar salad has an anchovy on the side for those who do not appreciate it. Seared scallops. Have a crusty exterior and a creamy middle and they sit on an orzo risotto containing crunchy veggies. We’ve tried almost everything on the menu but these beauties stand out.
Service was great. Thought the lunch menu was limited.
Great service. Friendly staff
We went for brunch and had a variety of great breakfast and lunch specialties. Our server, Adam, was very helpful. We had a great time.
If you order the right thing it's fine. I had a mozzarella brunch sandwich which was not good. Was a soggy mess.
Interestingly presented good American food. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Try the calamari.
Our food was excellent. Ambiance there is very comfortable. Jerry, our server, did a perfect job. He was friendly and efficient.
Great Location, great room, great service. Food was good.
Brunch with friend. Food and service was good. Highly recommend.
The butternut squash soup was amazing. My main course was fair. The shrimp was overcooked and wasn’t very good. The reason I am giving a 1 for food is on the dessert menu the offer Smith Island carrot cake. It is served as a very thin slice and garnished withe good ice cream and glazed pecans. In conversing with our server he mentioned the cake was made in house in a sheet pan. Normally I prefer desserts made in house. My problem is it was not a SMITH ISLAND CAKE!! They misrepresented their dessert for an authentic cake.
I am very disappointed ☹️ . That is why I rated the food as low as I could.
Good food. Good service. Very nice experience all around.
Awesome wait staff. Wonderful lunch with friends.
Service was outstanding. Highly recommend the butternut squash soup - it's amazing! Brunch menu has good balance of apps & entrees.
Fabulous service and wonderful meal. I had the green coconut mussels which were delicious and a large portion.
I miss the old house the atmosphere is so not the same. Carrot cake was a little disappointing but all else was great. Waiter could not have been nicer.
Our first visit was on the early evening of new year's eve. Great ambiance, friendly staff, and overall pleasant vibe. Our server, Dani, was attentive and contributed to a very positive experience. Highlights were the short rib stroganof and scallops. We will recommend Addie's to friends and certain we will visit again.
Lovely restaurant. Food is always good. Service is usually hit or miss. We went there for a birthday recently. Bery good.
Nice place! The drinks were great. The service was very good. The fish special I ordered had pomegranate seeds which didn’t go well with the fish. They made for a woody, crunchy bite that was a bit odd and unpleasant. The shrimp cocktail was great. All other dinners were good.
We used to go to the original Addies and this new place has some of the old favorite foods but in a much much more wonderful venue. The food was really good and the deserts were yummy. Service was outstanding too. highly recommend.
One entree was very undercooked and one side came out at room temperature at best. Our waiter and the manager responded wonderfully to the issues and we’ll definitely give them another try.
