A very good food. We went there one Friday when Coronovirus is still on and Gov declared emergency. There was not much crowd. We will definitely go again when things get settled down to see real atmosphere. The bread that gave us was very awesome and we asked for one more serve while we were waiting for our food.

Nice wines by the glass, generous cocktails, small but good quality menu, delightful combinations accompanying the entrees, and try the profiteroles! We had a great meal, all said. Portions are not huge but that was good for us, and reflected in the prices.

We have eaten at Addie’s in Park Potomac many times since it opened; we also ate at the original Addie’s and other Black Restaurant Group locations, in particular Black Market Bistro, and have always been pleased. However, our visit on Saturday, 02/29, was a horrible experience. We arrived shortly before our 11:45 reservation, placed our orders no later than 12:10, and, with the exception of a soup that one member of the party ordered which arrived quickly, did not receive our meals until almost 1:00. I know the time since I checked my watch to see how close we were to exceeding the 2-hour free parking window. Consequently, we had to eat quickly to make sure to get to our cars in time. At one point, the waiter told us the delay was due to a party of 30 in the side room; however, I do not believe that was the cause since diners at tables near ours arrived after us, were served before us, and some finished and left before we were ever served. We also received no apology for the delay. A different waiter asked a member of the party if she wanted a refill for her iced tea. When he brought it, he asked if we needed anything else — my wife asked for a refill for her iced tea and his response was that she should have asked before to save him a trip — no excuse for that attitude. While we will continue to dine at Black Market Bistro, and other Black Group locations, it is highly unlikely that we will return to Addie’s.

Lunch here with a friend was a real joy. We were able to enjoy some very good food, and have a long catch-up talk in a quiet, comfortable place. Our server was just the right amount of attentive. Overall it was a great experience. I've already recommended it to a friend who lives nearby an plan to return.

My wife and I met for dinner on our first date at Addies. We go back every Valentine’s Day. We are never disappointed. I would recommend Addies create a special V’day menu.

Oysters were fresh. Entrees were excellent. Dessert was terrible - supposed to be a New York cheesecake special. It was dry and stale. Plate was clearly sitting around for a while in the kitchen - didn't match description of server (even he commented on different look of plate as compared to how it was supposed to look). It should have never left the kitchen. Once we commented on the poor quality to the server, he should have brought it to the attention of the manager. One of those rare occasions when we couldn't finish the dessert. Next time we will skip dessert.

Addies is our go-to restaurant for any occasion. Fried oysters have a delightful briny crunch and when dipped into the aioli finish with a spicy follow through. The Caesar salad has an anchovy on the side for those who do not appreciate it. Seared scallops. Have a crusty exterior and a creamy middle and they sit on an orzo risotto containing crunchy veggies. We’ve tried almost everything on the menu but these beauties stand out.

The butternut squash soup was amazing. My main course was fair. The shrimp was overcooked and wasn’t very good. The reason I am giving a 1 for food is on the dessert menu the offer Smith Island carrot cake. It is served as a very thin slice and garnished withe good ice cream and glazed pecans. In conversing with our server he mentioned the cake was made in house in a sheet pan. Normally I prefer desserts made in house. My problem is it was not a SMITH ISLAND CAKE!! They misrepresented their dessert for an authentic cake. I am very disappointed ☹️ . That is why I rated the food as low as I could.

Our first visit was on the early evening of new year's eve. Great ambiance, friendly staff, and overall pleasant vibe. Our server, Dani, was attentive and contributed to a very positive experience. Highlights were the short rib stroganof and scallops. We will recommend Addie's to friends and certain we will visit again.

Nice place! The drinks were great. The service was very good. The fish special I ordered had pomegranate seeds which didn’t go well with the fish. They made for a woody, crunchy bite that was a bit odd and unpleasant. The shrimp cocktail was great. All other dinners were good.

We used to go to the original Addies and this new place has some of the old favorite foods but in a much much more wonderful venue. The food was really good and the deserts were yummy. Service was outstanding too. highly recommend.
