Ada's Restaurant & Bar
A chef-driven paradise wrapped in a small neighborhood vibe. Ada’s has been a staple in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood for years. However today, the new Ada’s is a creation stemmed from a lifelong dream of Executive Chef Ayhan Barlas. With a completely revised menu of American classics prepared with a European flair alongside Chef Ayhan’s native Turkish favorites, your senses will thank you!
We are firm believers that the freshest ingredients create the best dishes, and that things that grow together, go together. So, in keeping with that mantra, we pride ourselves on using as many local purveyors as possible to best keep our dishes in line with the true spirit of the finest cuisine the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
Here you'll find a modern, warm and romantic dining experience in an elegantly casual atmosphere. We also have a great bar and lounge area with a wonderful Happy Hour.

Everything was superb! We enjoyed appetizers, 4 different entrees (steak, lamb chops, chicken, scallops), desserts, wine, cocktails and all were perfect. Attentive service, great ambience, and chef personally visited our table twice. It couldn't have been better.
very nice, soup more spicy
Great ambiance, service and food. Perfect precursor to our evening at Wildlanterns at the Zoo. Thank you for a cozy comfortable vibe. We’ll be back.
Food is creative, tasty. Slightly less salt would be better for me. Red Turkish wines by glass were quite good.
At 7pm-ish the sound was too loud to talk comfortably.
This was my first time dining at Ada’s and eating Turkish cuisine. The whole experience did not disappoint! The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I also loved the warm and quaint atmosphere. I’ll be back again soon!
Beautiful interior, busy without the noise being deafening, great service, wonderful food, interesting menu, stunning presentation.
Our first experience at Ada's was our anniversary dinner. We had a very early reservation, arriving at 4:30pm we were the first customers, warmly welcomed and quickly attended to. We shared the Saksuka appetizer, added a recommended extra order of bread which we enjoyed throughout the meal. The Satsuka was perfectly seasoned, the eggplant sweet, all the ingredients well done, saucy and spicy. Next, a flavorful Red Lentil soup, the Turkish Shepherd salad a delicious, generous plate of citrus-dressed greens, heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, feta. For our mains, Imam Bayildi, the vegetarian stuffed eggplant with Arrabbiata Sauce and rice, and Pan Seared Sea Scallops atop Arancini cakes garnished with microgreens, dressed with a lemon butter sauce, delicious, beautiful presentation, plus an order of brussels sprouts. We ended our meal with Turkish Tea and shared a piece of baklava.
We tried to sample a variety of menu items and now have a great idea of what we'll try on our next visit.
Ada's is not to be missed! Ryan our server was warm, friendly, attentive but not overly so. Chef Ayhan Barlas shared a warm, welcoming visit to our table.
As the evening progressed more tables filled, the ambiance remained lovely never noisy.
Great food, ambiance and service. The chef came by everyone's table to introduce himself. Overall a great experience; will definitely go back.
What a find! Our party of six celebrating two birthdays all had different entrees and each was excellent! Perfectly prepared with lovely presentation. Service was top notch also with Vax cards quickly checked and our reserved table ready to go. The decor and table setup is casually elegant, a nice touch and welcome change from eating on the street at picnic benches! The skewers, scallops, Rainbow trout, House specialty sac, chicken tandoori and lamb chops are all heartily recommended. We also enjoyed a couple signature cocktails (very pretty!) and the imported Turkish wines not on the menu with calamari and roasted red peppers (very different and tasty!) appetizers. You can order sides to share which were perfect. And the lovely waitress brought our table complimentary birthday deserts to share including the most delicious baklava! Highly recommended for a special occasion!! Hats off to the chef and his team!! Thanks!
Had an amazing time at Ada's. The food was excellent. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food and drink choices. So much flavor! The wine list was very limited. We were told they are revamping their selection. Some nice unique signature cocktails. The staff worked very hard to be attentive but you could tell they were shorthanded. I will be definitely be back. I’m looking forward to a full wine menu and a full compliment of staff to take a what was a really fun night up to a really great night
The duck appetizer was amazing!
Food and service was great! Everyone would like to go back to try other dishes.
We loved the food at Ada’s, the trout had no fishy taste and melted in your mouth. They even offered to debone it for us, which as amateur “whole fish” eaters, we very much appreciated.
We will be back and will bring friends!
Great restaurant! Delicious food and great service. We will be back!
Cozy space to dine on a rainy night. Service was warm and efficient. Food was excellent— we had the best muhammara I’ve ever tasted (although a few more slices of bread would have been welcome… 2.5 baguette slices was not quite enough to mop it up). Our mains were very tasty and the baklava was outstanding. Highly recommended!
A real bright stop during the pandemic.Spent my 77th birthday with wife, andlog time friends.
Great spot with great food!
Lovely restaurant with delicious food and great service! Everyone should eat here
The atmosphere was gay; lots of people laughing.
Wait staff was attentive and friendly.
The food was excellent! The marinara sauce was so fresh!
We had a nice chat with the chef owner.
Landing on having another date night there with friends,
No checking for vaccinations, and un-masked diners in adjacent tables. Got our order wrong when not very busy, and took much too long to get our entrees.
If you like Turkish food this is place. We are from Florida and when we visit Seattle we always visit Ada's. The Chef, Ayhan has a wonderful menu, try the Sac, wonderful!
We had a lovely time at Ada’s. The food and service was outstanding and we left happy and full. Thank you so much!
We went to Ada's for the Seattle Restaurant Week this time. We were able to try some different menu items. All were delicious! We will be back soon.
We had a wonderful dinner and will definitely go back. They have a broad menu that shows real talent in the kitchen. The combination of Turkish, Italian and Northwest cuisine was delightful. The servers were experienced and attentive. Lovely neighborhood ambience. What else could you ask for? Ada's is a gem.
We were excited to try Ada's for restaurant week. Unfortunately, we had a pretty sub-par experience. We chose the 3 course RW menu. The first course (soup and eggplant tapenade) were ok, but not special. Both of our entries came next and were SO salty that we both only ate half of our entrees (and we were hungry). We both chose baklava for dessert. Sadly, it was totally burnt and smothered in a stick honey sauce that didn't nothing to hide the tough dough (I could not cut through the bottom of the pastry no matter how hard I tried) or the fact that it was obviously burned.
Our server was fantastic. Attentive, knowledgeable, really great. However, I think she should have taken one look at that baklava and sent it back to the kitchen. Wines were ... tangy. More expensive wines by the bottle not worth the price.
Bottom line: This was not a great way to introduce new customers to Ada's. We tried it, but sadly we will not return.
Great food and nice atmosphere. It was a stormy day and the food was really delicious and flavorful. The chef checked on us and thanked us for visiting.
Excellent service, and it was nice to meet the chef after. But the highlight was the food itself, which was consistently good. Highlights included the chèvre appetizer and the baklava.
As usual great food and service. Chef Ayhan came out to our table to visit with us, a nice bonus!
Above average food, but not amazing. Nice presentation, and loved our server. Crowded if you're concerned about COVID, and some of the staff didn't always wear their mask. For a meal that expensive, I was expecting more. The baklava was outstanding.
We selected many different dishes including appetizers, salads, entrees and dessert...all were outstanding. This my new favorite restaurant. Server was friendly, helpful and engaging.
We just tried this cute restaurant for a date night and I am so glad we did! We will definitely be going back.
Great ambiance, EXCELLENT and friendly service, wonderful turkish menu - can’t wait to go back and try the stuffed eggplant and the seafood linguine.
The food was delicious if slightly on the pricier side. Soooo good. Turkish wine was very nice. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable.
We had spectacular food! The chef even came out to our table to greet us and make sure we enjoyed the food. I felt like I was part of the Turkish family. I definitely going back soon!
One of the best meals I've had in Seattle! The foot was delicious - perfectly prepared and presented beautifully!
All the dishes we ordered were delicious, fresh and beautifully plated.
Ada's Chef Ayhan and staff could not have been more welcoming to their Turkish American Dining Affair Their to celebrate my nephew & fiancé's bd's & engagement
(just returning from Cappadocia) I choose Ada's for the celebration that turned magical - starting with the Muhamarra & Prawns paired with a lovely light white wine our server recommended to our 2nd course of beet salad we all wanted and 3rd course I choose the Scallops which came artistically on a large wooden server plate and each morsel perfection as were the Almond Ricotta Raviola , Lamp Chops, Sish Kabob - only sorry I didn't take a photo of our table of goodness. A Perfect night
topped with Baklava - my late mother's favorite dessert to make & give out at Christmas - as if she magically added to the evening!! THIS IS A GEM!! Thank you again Chef Ayhan and staff you were at big part of our celebration!! We will all be coming back
We went to honor my father who had passed that morning at 96. He loved his time in Turkey in the 50’s. We had a beautiful mini wake, a meal he would have loved. Ada’s is a great place for unpretentious dining of a very high standard. No BS or fake formality. They tell you what they offer and deliver.
nice bar, excellent food in large portions, quiet and rather romantic room, good service
Service was the best part!! Food was really good.
Amazing food the wait staff is the best I’ve had in Seattle. The chef personally comes out and checks To make sure the food is at your liking. The menu is diverse and has something for everyone. We started going here about six months ago and each time we go we bring a new set of friends abs all ENJOY and rave. A true gem I’m fine with such a kind and attentive service. The kebabs are out of this world.
