Ada's Restaurant & Bar
A chef-driven paradise wrapped in a small neighborhood vibe. Ada’s has been a staple in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood for years. However today, the new Ada’s is a creation stemmed from a lifelong dream of Executive Chef Ayhan Barlas. With a completely revised menu of American classics prepared with a European flair alongside Chef Ayhan’s native Turkish favorites, your senses will thank you!
We are firm believers that the freshest ingredients create the best dishes, and that things that grow together, go together. So, in keeping with that mantra, we pride ourselves on using as many local purveyors as possible to best keep our dishes in line with the true spirit of the finest cuisine the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
Here you'll find a modern, warm and romantic dining experience in an elegantly casual atmosphere. We also have a great bar and lounge area with a wonderful Happy Hour.
When you dine with us, you’ll feel like part of the family.

Excellent service, and it was nice to meet the chef after. But the highlight was the food itself, which was consistently good. Highlights included the chèvre appetizer and the baklava.
As usual great food and service. Chef Ayhan came out to our table to visit with us, a nice bonus!
Above average food, but not amazing. Nice presentation, and loved our server. Crowded if you're concerned about COVID, and some of the staff didn't always wear their mask. For a meal that expensive, I was expecting more. The baklava was outstanding.
We selected many different dishes including appetizers, salads, entrees and dessert...all were outstanding. This my new favorite restaurant. Server was friendly, helpful and engaging.
We just tried this cute restaurant for a date night and I am so glad we did! We will definitely be going back.
Great ambiance, EXCELLENT and friendly service, wonderful turkish menu - can’t wait to go back and try the stuffed eggplant and the seafood linguine.
The food was delicious if slightly on the pricier side. Soooo good. Turkish wine was very nice. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable.
We had spectacular food! The chef even came out to our table to greet us and make sure we enjoyed the food. I felt like I was part of the Turkish family. I definitely going back soon!
One of the best meals I've had in Seattle! The foot was delicious - perfectly prepared and presented beautifully!
All the dishes we ordered were delicious, fresh and beautifully plated.
Ada's Chef Ayhan and staff could not have been more welcoming to their Turkish American Dining Affair Their to celebrate my nephew & fiancé's bd's & engagement
(just returning from Cappadocia) I choose Ada's for the celebration that turned magical - starting with the Muhamarra & Prawns paired with a lovely light white wine our server recommended to our 2nd course of beet salad we all wanted and 3rd course I choose the Scallops which came artistically on a large wooden server plate and each morsel perfection as were the Almond Ricotta Raviola , Lamp Chops, Sish Kabob - only sorry I didn't take a photo of our table of goodness. A Perfect night
topped with Baklava - my late mother's favorite dessert to make & give out at Christmas - as if she magically added to the evening!! THIS IS A GEM!! Thank you again Chef Ayhan and staff you were at big part of our celebration!! We will all be coming back
nice bar, excellent food in large portions, quiet and rather romantic room, good service
Service was the best part!! Food was really good.
Amazing food the wait staff is the best I’ve had in Seattle. The chef personally comes out and checks To make sure the food is at your liking. The menu is diverse and has something for everyone. We started going here about six months ago and each time we go we bring a new set of friends abs all ENJOY and rave. A true gem I’m fine with such a kind and attentive service. The kebabs are out of this world.
Some of the best tasting Turkish food you'll find anywhere. Try the shish kebob, any eggplant appetizer/entrée, goat cheese spread, muhammara, manti, sac kavurma, Turkish meat balls, the whole fish, and DEFINITELY don't leave without eating the amazing baklava using your fingers (if you don't know how, ask chef Ayhan to teach you)!
Brilliant! We are determined to eat our way through the entire menu. Everything is delicious!
A must go to! The food, service and drinks were exceptional! I feel like Ada's is a hidden secret and everyone needs to know about it. :)
Wonderful food and wonderful staff!
Excellent food, great ambiance and wonderful service. Strongly recommended for fine dining!!
Good choice of vegetarian dishes. Also a couple of fish dishes, Sea Bass Nd Salmon
Food excellent our server was great and very kind. Think that the arrival of dishes was a bit slow. Husaband said he meat was not hot. Plus I think that the meal should incled the pita bread. Or at the very least the yogurt cucumber side dish should automatically include the pita. The baklava was the best I have ever had . They served it on the house since it was out 33rd anniversary. This establishment was an excellent choice to enjoy our dinner celebration.
This was our second dining experience at Ada and restaurant did not let us down. Must try are Muhammara , prawns , calamari and lamb chops. Will suggest the restaurant to have more vegetarian options
Great food. Service good and waiters wearing masks, but concerned that the kitchen staff were not wearing face coverings.
Best Discovery of the Year! This hidden gem dazzled us all on many fronts. Our family gathered to celebrate my husband’s birthday. He was actually born in Izmir, while his parents were stationed overseas. We thought Ada’s would be a special choice. We were not disappointed! Our kids (20’s/30’s) were all eager to write rave reviews, too. Can’t wait to go back…in fact, I think we’re going tonight!
Four of us went for dinner, two are foodies, two will eat like 8 things :). We were welcomed and doted on by our server including his observation that the music (mellow jazz vocals) might be a little loud and when we agreed he turned the speaker down. We had a pepper walnut appetizer, which was good, a warm goat cheese with caramelized onions, which was HOMG delicious. Everyone had bar menu drinks and my blackberry mojito was the bomb.
Then for entree, there was a chicken, which he thought was very good, a steak (my partner thought it was oh, so very good and he is a bit of an expert), lamb pops (she thought they were delish), and I had the stuffed eggplant, which was wonderful. Our server suggested a Syrah he'd discovered on inventorying the wines and it was fabulous.
Two people split the profiterole and two split the baklava. The profiterole people, brother and sister, LOVED those little balls of creamy perfection. I really liked the baklava, which is a little different from the baklava I actually had at the famous place in Istanbul 7-years ago. I liked this one better, much more flavor and maybe honey instead of the glucose syrup? I'm not sure, but boy-oh-boy was it good.
We're a little sorry it took us so long to go after walking past for a couple of years with the dog from our home in Fremont. Highly recommend it, and the extra special service on a weeknight was appreciated.
It was an excellent dinner. My wife and I shared the egg plant salad as an appetizer. For our meals she had the whole fish (normally trout but it was sea bass tonight) and I had the Sac Kavurma (diced tenderloin stir fried with tomatoes onions, peppers, etc). Both were extremely tasty. We finished it off with poached pear dessert. What a treat.
Friday night dinner- we loved the food, service was great, restaurant was distanced and very clean. We would definitely go back!
Quiet, Delicious enjoyable dinner
Not only good delicious food, but also one of the best Turkish food you'll get anywhere. Experienced owner chef, great talent in the kitchen. Do NOT skip the homemade 52 layer baklava! And try a "duble rakı".
Excellent meal and great ambiance!
Super nice ambience. Beautiful decor and classic look. Super quiet with soothing music. Feels very high end until they served a basket of bread wrapped in white paper napkins instead of cloth napkin. Pretty good food: lentil soup and lobster bisque. 2 Entries were eggplant and meatball. Both entries were not well salted, and there was no table salt. The rice was seasoned was not enough to counter the blandness of the eggplant and the beef meatball.
Overall we liked it if they could improve the food.
Absolutely a fantastic dinner. Although it is located on a somewhat busy street, our table in the window was quiet and bright with the coming dusk. The duck appetizer was delicious: tender and cooked to perfection and beautifully presented on the platter with some very complimentary sauces. My wife’s lamb chops were also cooked to perfection. And the vegetables (my measure for a great chef) were cooked very well, the broccoli was just the right texture and the scalloped potato’s were creamy and tasty. My scallops were cooked exceedingly well and presented on a delicate fried potato cake. To finish, the baklava was very well made, and my wife was purring over the wine soaked pear. The water was quiet, efficient, and always attentive without hovering: waiting for me to catch his eye before bringing the check. All in all an excellent dining experience.we shall return soon (to try the trout ).
Local gem. Amazing food. Friendly staff. Low key but elegant vibe. Different and interesting flavor profiles that are oh so good. Highly recommended!
Thank you and I really appreciate supporting Local -Small Business See you soon Chef
Absolutely love Ada’s, third time in 3 months and I always leave so happy. Everything is so amazingly delicious, with only the best and freshest ingredients. And you can tell it’s all made with Turkish pride and so love! Can’t wait to come back soon with more friends so I can try every single dish on the menu! I was only able to take a couple pictures before we gobbled it all up! You must leave space for the baklava, so extraordinary!!
Great food with attentive, charming service. The day we were there it was a little warm in the restaurant (80-degree day in July). Super convenient if you're visiting the Woodland Park Zoo. We'll definitely be back!
Great food. Staff very friendly. Will will be visiting again.
Everything was great! Looking forward to trying some of the Turkish inspired food next visit!
Our food was extraordinarily delicious and we so appreciated the elegant feel of the room and the service (and, of course, of the food itself).
Very nice place that we will absolutely visit again. The meal highlights were the meat-stuffed eggplant—velvety, exquisitely cooked eggplant stuffed with flavorful ground beef, the tenderloin steak—perfectly tender with delicious accompaniments, and the kofta meatballs. Our appetizers were calamari (hit) and tapenade (miss), but they were far outshone by the main dishes. The service was attentive and hospitable, but I did not receive the tea I ordered (which was fine, we needed to go anyway). Beside such tiny complaints, our experience was great, and we look forward to returning regularly now that we know about this neighborhood gem.
Amazing staff, delicious food and cozy ambiance - thank you so much!!
The food and service at Ada's was impeccable. We ordered appetizers (goat cheese with pistachios and muhumarra (bad spelling), each of the four of us ordered different entrees, and we ordered two desserts. Everything was delicious. We will be back.
