Ada's Restaurant & Bar
A chef-driven paradise wrapped in a small neighborhood vibe. Ada’s has been a staple in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood for years. However today, the new Ada’s is a creation stemmed from a lifelong dream of Executive Chef Ayhan Barlas. With a completely revised menu of American classics prepared with a European flair alongside Chef Ayhan’s native Turkish favorites, your senses will thank you!
We are firm believers that the freshest ingredients create the best dishes, and that things that grow together, go together. So, in keeping with that mantra, we pride ourselves on using as many local purveyors as possible to best keep our dishes in line with the true spirit of the finest cuisine the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
Here you'll find a modern, warm and romantic dining experience in an elegantly casual atmosphere. We also have a great bar and lounge area with a wonderful Happy Hour.
When you dine with us, you’ll feel like part of the family.
Everyone was so warm and welcoming and the food was DELICIOUS! Will definitely be back - they made our night very special 🤍
Great neighborhood gem for a date night. Excellent Turkish food and wine as good as we had in Turkey!
Wonderful attentive staff, delicious food. As for wine, the turkish cab was lovely!
The food was delicious. The service and friendliness of the staff was amazing!
This place was perfect. The food was amazing. The service was spot on and the blueberry Mojito was to die for. The chef even came out to greet everyone. The wife and I had a great Valentine’s Day.
2nd time we’ve enjoyed Ada’s. Excellent service. Wonderful food. Charming bar yet to be tried!
Amazing food, great service, you have to try the profiteroles
I have been to Ada’s twice now and the food was fresh, savory and exquisitely prepared. I especially enjoyed the lobster bisque and the scallops. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!
The ambience and the food were amazing! The service was not that great - we had a party of 2 arrive way later than us but they received quicker service in my opinion.
The restaurant was busy so may be that’s why the wait. Other than the wait time, we had a great experience! We also appreciate the chef coming in and checking on us :)
I'm a Turkish person living in the Seattle, and this is some of the most authentic Turkish food I've had here. Prices were reasonable, the decor of the restaurant was classy, and the server was friendly. We ordered the muhamarra and the carpaccio for appetizer. The carpaccio was a bit too thick but tasted great (just needed a bit more salt), and the muhammara was amazing. I had the Turkish Manti and my partner had the Sac Kavurma, and both were super tasty. Definitely recommend it!
Food was fantastic, service was fine dining. Every item we tried was quite delicious
Geeat people and great food!
Went with a group, none of whom knew anything about Turkish food, but our waiter steered us in the right direction and his recommendations were spot on. We shared apps - carpaccio was by far the fan favorite. Beet salad was also a hit. The best from the main course: some kind of dumpling ravioli, in addition to the eggplant and ground beef. My daughter also had the seafood pasta dish and she enjoyed it a lot. Chef came out to say hi at the end of the meal, which was a welcome, personable touch. Overall, it was a lovely experience and evening out trying something new.
Great place. Visited during Seattle Restaurant Week. Hope to go back soon.
Wish they had more chicken options to choose from.
Everything was tasty! We had 4 courses and ate every bit of food. Service was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back for dinner again.
Good food generous portion of delicious scallops with tas ty cakes
Wonderful spot with unique food and wine selections. Staff was super friendly and the chef came out to wish us a happy anniversary, too. :)
Good quality for the right price. Surprising ingrediencies (like pomegranates-glaze)!
Dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. Owner was also our waiter and is very charming and fun. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. I had the scallops and my girlfriend had the trout. Both was great and large portions. We also shared the wine recommended to us, Galo Evresge. It’s Turkish and I would also recommend it.
This was the best food I’ve had in years. The service was awesome and the atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommend
Consistently outstanding. The chef is some sort of genius, seriously. The flavors, the unabashed mastery on casual display. Very very impressed!
What a fantastic meal and great experience! We were lucky enough to be served by the executive chef himself. The man is a true artist and a consummate host. The profiteroles were the best we've ever had, France included. The scallops were also delicious. Can't wait to come back! Oh and the restaurant was extremely clean and has all the proper COVID precautions in place that you'd expect.
We had dinner in this restaurant several times and we love it. Very delicious food with high quality ingredients and amazing service. The chef came to our table to greet and thank us for visiting. This place is a hidden gem. We recommend everyone to try😊
We dined for our anniversary after seeing the restaurant mentioned online and they did not disappoint. The taste and presentation were superb and we’ll definitely return. Sadly, COVID was keeping diners away but we felt very safe and comfortable there. Can’t recommend it enough!
Wonderful little restaraunt in Phinney Ridge. Would highly recommend the Turkish Meatballs and Baclava.
Really great food and very nice service. Would go back just for the baklava!
Ada's Restaurant & Bar was an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was amazing, and everyone was very contentious, wearing masks and taking precautions. We ate outside under one of their sun umbrellas and had a wonderful evening. We will absolutely be returning.
Exceptional food, service, and value. Creative, fresh and comforting dishes, welcoming staff.
Best Turkish food in Washington! I’ve been there twice, food was amazing, the cook and waitresses were very friendly. I highly recommend this place to everyone! :)
Great food from a chef who came up in hotels and high-end steak houses. Varied menu that is decidedly classic with a few Mid-east/Turkish touches. Great presentation and quality. Somewhat unknown so usually easy to get a table here. Not sure how long that will last. Not trendy in the least. The chef often comes out to briefly check in with his patrons once during the evening. Nice touch.
The Chef was very generous with his time and prepared a delicious meal. He was particularly patient and accommodating in cooking a custom gluten free dairy free dish for our son who has food allergies. Excellent and caring service observing all the precautions for COVID and very accommodating staff. Well done! We have told a bunch of our friends to book a table ASAP. Well done!
Cynthia the hostess was outstanding and really made our experience pleasant. The food was off the charts great - in particular the lamb chops! We'll be back.
Interesting appetizers, tasty main course. The desserts were terrific
This was our first time and it will definitely not be our last. I dine out often and am particular. The food here is perfectly prepared and the presentation is spot on. Add to this great service - to me this is a home run.
In short this restaurant is not to be missed.
Enjoyed pres fixe. Beautiful rose nice touch. Smoked salmon, crab bisque, codfish, filet Mignon all perfectly prepared. Hand made baklava and chocolate dipped strawberries for dessert.
Amazing food and excellent service!
We had a Christmas dinner for 10 and the food and service couldn't have been better. All the guests from 10 years old to 70 commented on how much they enjoyed their dish as well as the various appetizers. Our waiter, who is also their resident "sommelier/wine expert", made the whole experience such an enjoyable one. We look forward to returning again.
Chef/Owner Ayhan Barlas had a dream when he came to Seattle twenty years ago, and I think Seattle should take notice of this chefs’ expertise and professional growth over the years. Every item on the menu is created with his professional love of the culinary arts. You will see Chef Barlas Turkish influence in his menu items, but to me the menu is very eclectic. No matter if you are coming from the North, South, or the Eastside… Ada’s is worth the drive. The service is exceptional, and this charming and personable Chef often comes to the table to greets his guests. As someone that never tells anyone of his favorite fishing hole… I do have to recommend Ada’s to anyone that wants a great dining experience at a reasonable price.
The service was impeccable. We had a family Christmas dinner and we were all able to converse at the table. Very unique in the noisy atmosphere of most restaurants these days. We had a great meal and great service. Thank you.
