   This restaurant is closed. I had no idea that this restaurant was closed and I reserved a table for me and my friends. We planned our day around this reservation and walked across Manhattan to get there, only to see it is permanently closed when we arrived. This greatly inconvenienced us and stifled our evening plans. OpenTable needs to take this restaurant off its platform to prevent others from being inconvenienced the same way we were this past weekend.

   While there are a lot of Mediterranean restaurants in NYC, this one was OUTSTANDING! The food was savory and the service impeccable. It was our first time there - it won't be our last.

   Food was very good. Portions were good. Music was a bit too loud so we ate in their very nice outdoor area. It’s a great location- right on Irving Pl. Only negative was service was a bit spotty. Not awful, but not great.

   Good pre-theater stop. Lamb chops were delicious. Service was not very attentive, but pleasant once engaged.

    They advertised items that were not on the menu list (most of them) and did not even bother to tell us upfront that they were not available, even that we asked specifically what was available. They added an automatic 20% service charge and intended to ask for a tip in addition. The worst was the dirty, uncleand restroom, absolutely disgusting! There are 2 unisex restrooms, I guess both dirty, uncleaned, even after we asked to have one cleaned. Dirty stuff on the floor, in the sink, in the toilet, etc. At least they had toilet paper... Is this service worth an extra tip? Sanitary services should become aware! The decor pf the establishment is beautiful and the turkish coffee, too. But I doubt we will return to this establishment, unless they change and receive plenty of positive reviews.
