Good was delicious. Noise level high!
Yes, I would go back.
Adalina is a beautiful restaurant with amazing food and I can’t wait to go back.
Great 2nd time experience. Wonderful food.
The service was great, and the chicken pesto sandwich was awesome! Loved sitting outside.
Dan is an excellent waiter!!
Needed a decent meal with some drinks, and this place did not disappoint! The food was great, service was on point, and for what we got the bill was not outrageous either... We'll be headed back!
Nice area, and the food was good. But not out of this world fantastic.
Adalina is always amazing. Stellar service and fresh food always! My boyfriend and I love this place one of the best little secrets in Georgia ! Adalina is a MUST TRY!!! The cauliflower is unforgettable and the halibut is perfection!
We love Adalina. Excellent food. Great service. We will definitely be back!
My family has been to Adalina several times in the last few months. However, it has never been very busy on the Friday or Saturday nights that we have been there.
The wait staff is ok, but the kitchen is very slow to send out the entrees. This past weekend it was an hour before we got our entrees. Speaking of entrees, I ordered the halibut and it was fine, but the chef included diced peaches on it which was not listed in the description on the menu. I am not a fan of peaches, but the point is that you cannot just add additional ingredients to someone’s order. I could have been allergic to peaches and had a serious problem after eating this entree. I have a family member with a food allergy and this is a serious issue. The menu should have been noted (especially as it changes often!) or the waiter should have pointed out the change in ingredients.
Excellent italian food, service and ambient. We ordered fried artichokes and peach salad as appetizer, prosciutto pizza and halibut as main dishes. All were excellent. Lemon almond cake was very good and paired very nicely with the raspberry icecream. It's located in a mixed use neighborhood away from main road. But this is absolutely a local gem to be discovered.
This restaurant has been an awesome addition to the Vinings area. The pastas and pizzas are fresh and their taste is great!
The staff was very friendly and great ambiance. Overall the food is blah.... work to do here. Great Italian wine. The pizza was good, however My Fish was over cooked and the chocolate dessert was so terrible that my 6yo refused to eat it. Turned out the young new hire scrambled the eggs when making the chocolate. What?! The staff tried hard to turn it around and offered us two other desserts in the house which was very nice. But honestly they were good either. Stick to the wine, pizza and apps! The artichokes were yummy.
Very quiet on a Wednesday evening; with lovely outside temps, that area was almost full. Waiter was attentive and friendly but not well versed on various menu items. Other staff was excellent and gracious in sharing information and opinions. We will definitely return!
The food was delicious. Friendly service. Good wine.
Very good chef - salads, pizza, pastas and mahi entree that we have ordered were all good, but the value equation doesn’t work. Drinks and wine are too expensive. A pricey single glass of Pinot noir was delivered not at the correct temperature (too warm), not in the right kind of glass, and obviously was the last of the bottle carelessly dumped into the glass, since it was full of sludge. The interior has a nice view, but still feels like suburban office building. We were hoping for a go-to neighborhood Italian restaurant, but this isn’t quite it.
We had a delightful dinner for two on the porch. My wife had the trout together with the cauliflower, and I had the mahi mahi. Everything was delicious and served at the right temperature, and the portions were ample. The cauliflower was exceptional. They had a good selection of specialty drinks as well as reasonably-priced wine. It was not inexpensive, but was more than reasonably priced for the quality of the food. We will go back again.
Dan and Marty are rock stars - Great food and vibe!
This place has a lot of potential. We started off with incredible martinis and fantastic service at the bar. The hostess was super friendly, attentive and very helpful. We thought, based on the start, that the meal would be amazing. Unfortunately it was just so-so. The pimiento cheese was good, but served with over oiled charred bread. And there wasn’t enough of the bread for the cheese either. Our waiter was pleasant but not very attentive and didn’t pick up on the fact that this was a birthday dinner - no dessert offer. He also messed up my husband’s order. They resolved it quickly though. The food was meh. I’d probably give the place another try but they definitely have some room to grow.
The attention to service and true appreciation for our patronage is quite impressive.
A trendy bar is off set from the dining area so evening dinners are not as relaxing but the vibes are great.
Bar is very nice but he dining area resembles a school cafeteria. Fried artichokes are good. Ceasar salad was totally bland. Ordered a cavatelli lamb bolognese. Thought the use of lamb was odd, but wanted to see what it was like. Awful. Chunks of very tender lamb, but a sauce that was more like a soup with green olives?. Not a bolognese at all. On the menu is a pork saltimbocca, really, pork on pork? Don't know if anyone in the kitchen has ever been to Italy or really good Italian restaurants. A little work on the dining room and a redo of the menu could save the place. Pleasant place and good service.
Wonderful service from all the staff
There were six of us who came to Adalina on a Thursday night. None of us had been previously. The decor was nice, but the lighting needed to be dimmed; it seemed odd to be so bright. There were only 4 or 5 other tables during our visit, with others at the bar or sitting outside. For the number of people in the restaurant, it seemed pretty loud. Some soundproofing would have been nice, as it was difficult to hear down the table occasionally. Our server was wonderful. He recommended a few starters for the table that we all thoroughly enjoyed. We all ordered our own mains (some of them could have easily been split) and passed them around. The pasta tasted fresh and the halibut was my favorite. The flavors were spot on and the food was overall excellent. I would still come back here for the food and was overall a great evening!
The food was delicious but the server was inattentive and very slow. He seemed to forget about us all together after the entre was served. I like the location and the outdoor seating option was nice.
Beautiful restaurant, great location, great food, great service.
Another excellent dining experience at Adalina; this is definitely a top option in the Smyrna/Vinings area.
The decor is very cold, not cozy. I am not sure if they were going for a beach theme. I would recommend a table cloth and warmer colors. The food was good. I had the seafood pasta which had a nice rich tomato sauce. The burrata salad was very good. We order the artisan bread basket for $6 and it had mainly thin bread and some bread sticks. There was nothing artisan about it for the price. The wine list was limited and we found it difficult to find a cabinet we liked. I think with a few changes, this restaurant can be successful.
Food & service was excellent, but the acoustics are horrible. We found ourselves shouting before the meal was over. No place for conversation. Back to texting across the table
A delightful and comfortable place. The huge bar is extremely inviting. It is great for drinks and/or meals and provides excellent people watching. The open plan kitchen let's you see the outstanding chef and crew busily working. Our group of four started with sharing a delicious pizza, followed by salads, then pasta dishes. Everything was delicious. The wine selection was very good.
Adalina is our new favorite. Love, love, love the atmosphere!
This was my first visit here and Dan was a pleasure. I ordered mussels and they were a bit dry and needed more sauce. However I did see a pizza going to another table and it look amazing, next time I’ll have that. The decor and set up is very clean and inviting. Nice ambiance and a nice size bar. Everyone was friendly and nice.
The best pizza in ATL by far. Great pastas too, all hand made. I would highly recommend it.
Amazing food, Best pizza
Great new addition to the food options in North Atlanta, Buckhead and Vinings. Great food and service in a beautiful, remodeled locatioin at Riverwood. Try it!
A good vibe about this place, though we had folks at the next table who were very loud. Had fish and the 1/2 chicken as entrees. Both of us were very satisfied. Service was friendly and efficient. Hostess very warm and welcoming.
Food and service were very good!! Everyone had something different and enjoyed their dish.
*Biggest* complaint...very noisy. It would behoove them to figure out a way to deaden the sound. Could not hear conversation at our table at times.
Very accommodating for a last minute gathering of our large group. Great food. A bit noisy
This was my third time for dinner at Adalina. I kept hoping my experience would improve.
We had a reservation; after arriving we decided to sit at the bar for a cocktail. The bar is well designed & the bartenders were friendly. We later advised the hostess when we were ready to be seated. There were plenty of empty tables in the dining area, yet we were seated at a small, round cocktail table on one side of the bar that was totally inadequate for dining...absolutely uncomfortable for anything other than cocktails....small & low table. Why in the world we were seated at a small cocktail table when there were plenty of tables available in the dining section is a mystery. And unfortunately for Adalina, the dining area remained less than half occupied throughout the evening.
We reviewed the menu and found none of the entrees were appealing. We ended up beginning with the muscles (appetizer), which were quite puny. We also ordered bread, for which we were charged, and received 3 measly thin slices of bread that tasted stale. No butter or olive oil was served with the bread. Charging for lousy bread is ridiculous! We then split a cesar salad that was garnished with ground broccoli; unfortunately the broccoli made the lettuce taste very bitter. We finally shared a pizza; it arrived with a soggy crust.
Overall, the ambiance is very nice. The bar is a highlight as is the outdoor seating. The wine selection is above average. The menu, from appetizers to entrees, is not appealing and the food is fair at best.
The setting and location are exceptional and unique to Atlanta. The food and service were both above par. The interior felt a little like a casual breakfast spot and not as sophisticated as the menu, but that won’t keep us from going back.
The food was salty. I was expecting amazing food, mainly because of the reviews, but it wasn’t that way, nothing special. The service on the other hand was exceptional.
