We had dinner with friends that had eaten here before. We had made a reservation, and although running about 20 minutes late, were greeted and seated immediately, in their very simple ( yet elegant) dining room! The waitstaff ( Amanda) could not have been more welcoming and helpful! And the same goes for the Inn Keeper, Cindy, who didn't even flinch when we balked at spending $80 for 1 bottle of wine- she simply offered us a WONDERFUL bottle at a significantly reduced price! It was fabulous- as was the butternut squash soup, the pork medalions, and MY "custom" meal of Chicken Cavattia (?sp)!!! SCRUMPTIOUS! And we were made to feel as if we were the only people in the dining room - which was not the case , as it did fill up quickly!
The only shock to this fabulous experience was the final bill....... Would we eat here again? MAYBE.... were it a VERY special occasion. It is way more pricey than we had anticipated.
We had a wonderful and inviting host greet us! This is just the kind of place we love and the intimacy of the restaurant is amazing. Our waitress Dianna was just delightful and so good to us! We had soup to start and were oohing and ahhing! For entrees, I had the mushroom tortellini dish, my daughter had the salmon and my husband had steak and lobster. My husband was the only one who wasn't that pleased with his meal. My daughter and I both loved ours! Our only complaint was not about the restaurant or staff but rather a couple that sat near us that was reading from their phone loudly about politics during the entire meal! It is not the fault of the Adair but this type of behavior causes the other guests around them to not have as nice an experience. We think they were Inn guests and just used the dining room as an extension of their own private room. We just wished they had looked around the room as 2 other tables besides ours were all shaking their heads over the couple completely oblivious that the restaurant was not looking for a history lesson or political discussion over a lovely meal! We will come back again to the Adair and recommend others to go as well but would not let that behavior go by again without saying something about it.
Excellent! Hi end country themed fare. Generous but not overwhelming portions. Attentive but not obsequious service. Thoughtful pairings of main course with side dishes. Perfect mid-winter comfort food. Especially enjoyed the wild mushroom struddel appetizer.
We enjoyed our dinner so much! The setting is beautiful, staff is delightful and our food was exceptionally delicious
The food was excellent. The only drawback was the very icy long road to get to the restaurant. Would definitely return in better weather.

Tom and Cindy were wonderful host. The entire staff went out of their way to make it a fantastic dinner experience. Look forward to my next visit
Cozy, comfortable setting with delicious food and friendly service. Excellent preparation and varied options.
No complaints! A very positive experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend.
Very cozy inn. Only had dinner there, but we will be back to stay and dine. The food was awsome. Great value. Talked to a couple that were staying at the inn and they counld not say enough nice things about the Adair Country Inn.
Excellent service, delicious food and wonderful atmosphere! Give them an outstanding!
The restaurant was closed on the day for which we had reservations and OpenTable did NOT notify us. I guess I have to question the reliability of the App. Next time I'll just have to call the restaurant direct.
Beautiful country inn with delicious food. Highly recommend!
Staying locally in Bethlehem and looking for fine dining. Pleasantly pleased with ambiance and quality of our meal and the outstanding service we received from our waitress. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Plan on returning next year. Looking forward to another bowl of butternut squash soup!
We always enjoy our time at Adair. We will come again.
Lovely inn with a great cozy restaurant. The food was delicious, the service very accommodating and such nice ambience. Having come from NYC, the food was very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend if you find yourself in that part of New Hampshire!
Lovely intimate restaurant mainly for overnight guests but frequented also by the locals.
Very nice menu, and delicious food in an intimate atmosphere. Loved the pre dinner drink at the cute bar.
We've eaten here before but never for Thursday night date night specials. I was pleasantly surprised to find information on the menu advising me which selections were gluten free. I was able to enjoy my dinner without worry. And everything was good. My husband started with the roasted tomato soup and said it was wonderful. His steak was also very good. My tofu dish was nicely done as well. We will definitely be back again for a Thursday night date night.
Nice selections of wine by the glass and looked like a generous pour. Nice selection of bottles as well.
Special Place. Great Food & friendly service. Could not have been better.
We celebrated our 25th anniversary at Adair Country Inn. The atmosphere is intimate and perfect for a romantic evening. There are less than a dozen tables in the dining room which insures that everyone gets great attention. The food choices were limited but the quality was fantastic. The service was very personal and attentive. I highly recommend the Adair Inn for any special occasion or when you want an experience that is completely unlike anything that you will find in a typical chain restaurant.
The food is exceptional and the inn keepers are very accommodating.
Our waitress, Meggan, was outstanding, genuine in her helpful, friendly and welcoming manner. The food was great and the date night menu a real value.
The food was delicious, and the service was wonderful.
Very good food. Step beyond the standard American cuisine. Very tasty and healthy.
Wonderful evening. Welcoming helpful staff. Food very well prepared. Interesting menu. Good ambiance and wine
The restaurant was absolutely beautiful. Our waitress Diana was helpful, informative, and professional. The food was excellent, and the ambience second to none. A visit to the Adair Country Inn and Restaurant is an experience in first class fine dining.
Great place for an intimate dinner date. Food was spectacular. Felt great to not be rushed during service.
Another wonderful night out at the Adair Country INn!!
The food was outstanding, wine was delicious and the service was amazing!
Ate at the inn while we were staying there, and had our vegan/vegetarian children join us. Three of us had the vegan tofu entree. Everything was excellent. We plan to stay at the Adair again and will definitely eat dinner there again.
The quality of the food, service and overall atmosphere continues to impress!! Dianna and Eric are top notch (server and chef). Seeing Cindy and Tom add to the pleasure ( host and husband). Best of the best!! 👍👍
This was a very nice find and if you are staying at a hotel/inn nearby make the drive. The Inn is full of charm and elegance and the room we ate in had beautiful wallpaper (Japanese scene). For starters we had the shaved fennel with roasted asparagus and farro grain salad (very generous portion) and strawberry and arugula salad (refreshing). Main was lamb lollipops (with blueberry sauce) and one of the specials, a chicken breast in terriyaki sauce with peppers. Both were tasty and the perfect portion size. We ended the evening with a chocolate mouse parfait with crumbled cookie layers. Scrumptious! Our server was great too -- very attentive.
I didn't care for the chimichurri sauce on my steak. Maybe it was the best sauce ever but not to my taste. The steak itself was very good.
Our waitress took great care of us. Thanks for saving the last chocolate mousse for my wife.
Beautiful place. We want to stay there at some point.
Excellent service. Food is good.
Outstanding as always! Kudos to server Dianna and chef Eric..👍👍
Wonderful location in the mountains. Classic New England inn. We went on a Thursday which is date night and they had a special menu including appetizer dinner and dessert. Appetizers have so great selections. I love the wind mushroom with Boursin cheese in a flaky wrap. For dinner we selected the steak. Mine as heat, husbands the o much gristle for him. Had a sauce which was nice but the veggies were over salted so it made the dish too rich. D sweet was a great mousse though again a bit over done. Half the portion with heavy whipped cream wouldnof knocked it out of the park. We had a wonderful wine!
Outstanding as always. It was a special retirement dinner for a special couple. Dianna could not have been better as our waitperson, the food was superb as always (credit to Eric) and the atmosphere was perfect! We continue to marvel at the Adair Inn!!!!!!
Our 4th time here, never gets old. Went for wifes birthday. Staff is phenomenal. Place is gotgeous and food is tremendous. Great for quiet fine dining. Love it.
